We recently went to Bawarchi in Montreal for a friend's birthday celebration & had an amazing experience. The Indian food here is truly the best I've had in Montreal.
The Cut Mirchi was outstanding - crispy, flavorful, & a must-try starter. Among the mains, the Kaju Biryani (vegetarian) was on another level - rich, aromatic, & unlike anything I've tasted before. The roti was also soft & fresh, perfectly complementing the curries.
Overall, Bawarchi is easily one of the best Indian restaurants in Montreal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic flavors & a memorable dining experience.

Nous avons découvert Bawarchi & ce fut une belle expérience culinaire. En entrée, nous avons choisi le hariyali chicken & le fish chili, tous deux savoureux & bien relevés. Ensuite, nous avons goûté plusieurs spécialités : le Hyderabadi dum biryani, le mutton ghee roast biryani, le spécial chicken Bawarchi biryani ainsi qu'un fish curry accompagné de riz. Pour adoucir le tout, les lassis à la mangue étaient délicieux & rafraîchissants.
La qualité des plats est indéniable : portions généreuses, assaisonnements précis & des saveurs authentiques qui rappellent vraiment l'Inde. En revanche, il faut noter que le niveau d'épices est assez élevé - même en étant d'origine indienne, j'ai trouvé certains plats très piquants. Heureusement, le lassi venait parfaitement équilibrer cette intensité.
Un endroit que je recommande sans hésiter pour les amateurs de vraie cuisine indienne, avec une mention spéciale pour leurs biryanis, qui sont tout simplement excellents.

Butter chicken was great, tikka masala a bit spicy but we were warned haha! Great service from Payel, would recommend this place. Especially the samosas were perfect. The small portion of rice is more than enough :)

Very good & prompt service. The food was delicious, flavourful yet mild spice, like we had asked, as well.
The staff was friendly & kept a polite smile at all times.
Highly recommended going to this place!
Only concern was the high noise levels, because of the space being compact & it being right on the Main Street.
Lovely food! Best biryani in Montreal! Tisha & Krishna provided us with great service & we were fully satisfied with the food! Would highly recommend coming here for good traditional Hyderabadi biryani.

Came here for date night! We had a great experience. The food came out very fast, & the waitress took her time explaining the options which was appreciated. The lamb korma was delicious as was the naan. We loved the mango lassi. Will definitely go back again. Would recommend for non spice eaters to go with the mild dishes & not medium as the jump is quite large. Overall had a very good experience.
We had a fantastic experience at Bawarchi in Montreal! The ambiance was warm & inviting, the attendant was attentive, & the food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was well-prepared & flavorful, including the orders for our little ones who were picky.The portions were generous, & the pricing was reasonable for the quality. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience. Can't wait to return!

We traveled from Vancouver & were looking for a good place to eat when we found Bawarchi. Their regular menu has great options, but we quickly realized that their real specialty is biryani!
We first ordered some naan with spinach, which was fresh & flavorful. But after noticing that almost every table had biryani, we decided to get some packed to go-& we're so glad we did! The biryani was absolutely delicious, perfectly spiced, & had that authentic taste that makes you want to come back for more.
Not only is the food amazing, but it's also very pocket-friendly, making it a must-visit for anyone craving quality Indian cuisine. Highly recommend Bawarchi, especially their famous biryani!

Located near my university, this place became our go-to whenever we craved a decent biryani & some beer. Their Karvepakki Chicken Biryani is my favorite-flavorful & satisfying every time. The Chicken 65 is a perfect balance of spice, not too intense but still hits the spot. My Arabic & Canadian friends are big fans too! Proudly Indian, this spot offers authentic flavors that appeal to everyone, & it never disappoints. Definitely a place I always recommend!
I visited Bawarachi in Montreal, & the biryani was absolutely heavenly! The flavors were rich & authentic, making it one of the best I've had. Definitely planning to visit again-highly recommended for biryani lovers!
It's a great restaurant & would definitely recommend the Hyderabadi Dum Biryani Chicken. The staff is responsive & warm, I would definitely recommend to anyone who likes to have great food with sweet service by the staff. The ambience is a plus!!
