Most Biriyanis & starters are the same you wont find a lot of difference in taste. & the only feeling you will get is the spice. If the food is extra salty, its mixing with the sweat from your forehead.
My family LOVES this. It's authentic South Indian food. I highly recommend the 555 shrimp & chilli chicken. As well as mutton ghost biriyani.
Excellent Indian restaurant specializing in Hyderabadi cuisine. The food is quite authentic, curries have satisfying thickness. A variety of naans, I loved the cheese one. Price-to-portion ratio is about right for an Indian restaurant in 2026, about $30 per head. Service was ok.
Montreal is known for its food & this Indian restaurant is a real find. I will be back!
It's honestly a fantastic place to try some Indian food! Their chicken & lamb was so tender & flavorful, & their naan was the best! Dining hall environment very cozy & waiter there was very friendly & helpful! Definitely Will come back again
The food here is amazing & so tasty. Favourite Indian food place. Highly recommend.
Food was to spicy not fit for the taste buds for everybody. Incomplete delivery, because restaurant was near to the end of the day closing so in hurry missed the half food items, we slept hungry for the night as all other Indian restaurants were closed & no Indian veg options were available by the end of the day. Paid for the full food amount but only got half of the order . It was the worst food experience
Best Restaurants in the Montreal for Indian food. I came for a trip with my friends & we visited twice. Both visit were worth it & would recommend everyone if you are tired of the bad service in restaurants in Montreal.
Fair warning : It is always crowded at night so arrive early or expect 10-15 min wait.
Highly recommended : You won't regret going there.
Staff was friendly & especially had great experience with Vinishia.
😊 😊
Great place to enjoy Indian cuisine, food was excellent. We came to Montreal for five days & we visited this restaurant 2 times & in each visit it was fully packed, the service was smooth & fast. Especially a girl named vinisha was really helpful. Great experience!
Very nice restaurant. We shared 4 dishes & they all were great! My new favorite Indian restaurant.
Great service by sakshi & payal. Amazing Indian food in Montréal must visit. We order kadahi panner & garlic naan. The price was very reasonable food the quantity & food was very delicious.
Excellent food & service. Recommend trying their karvepaku dishes. Sakshi & Payal were very hospitable & cordial in their service. Strongly recommend Bawarch for all biriyani & Indian food lovers.
Best place to get Indian food for an Indian. The food is not made mild like other places, unlike a lot of Indian restaurants in Montreal. Their Karivepaku Biryani is my favourite. We get it every week!
One of the best Indian Cuisine after a really long time. Most of the menu we opted today was vegetarian & I really loved the food. Karuvepaku Gobi, Babycorn Manchurian is top notch. Gongura Biryani was Yum! The service is excellent & we were able to get appetizers & main course on time.
Honestly phenomenal - dare I say this might be the best Indian food in downtown Montreal? The 555 gobi appetizer is crispy yet saucy, the Nawabi chicken is creamy & flavourful & the lamb in the Chettinadu curry is soo tender. & of course, do not skip the garlic naan & the mango lassi to scoop up all the sauce & clear the palate!
Edit: I forgot to mention that the service is amazing, despite the place being busy. The server - a lovely lady - will give great recommendations & help with combos ;)
I don't miss home or the spicy food from my homeland anymore because this place serves the best Indian food in town!
I absolutely love their Fish Biryani (my go-to dish every single time!), along with Karakoram Chicken & Lamb Korma - all bursting with authentic flavor & spice.
The staff is always welcoming & hospitable, even during rush hours. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving genuine Indian flavors
The food at Bawarchi was some of the best Indian food we've had on the east coast. We got the paneer tikka masala combo, chicken shahi paneer, & the samosa chat. It was all flavorful although a bit on the spicy side. We'll be back to try the biryani! We waited about 20 mins to be seated but that just proves how good this place is! Staff was very friendly.
