Been to other baton rouge restaurants but this was definitely the most enjoyable one! We were served by Mike & he took very good care of us, always making sure we were satisfied & hooked us up as well. Would definitely come back 5/5
We went for a birthday with a large group. The bus girl spilled someone's beer all over my husband chair & jacket. Excused herself but that's it. They gave someone their beer in a hot glass. We got the surf & turf plater the lobster was a little under cooked, garlic butter had no garlic in it was just oil. Now I don't expect much mistake happen all good but after dropping a drink on someone & we had a bill over 300$ plus all the others with us I expect at least a free appetizer or cover my dry cleaning bill.
Le bâton rouge de Laval est exquis, service impeccable, notre serveuse était excellente. Nous y avons été un samedi soir & avons été très surpris par la quantité dans notre assiette. Nous avions arrêter d'aller dans les bâton rouge à cause de la diminution & le goût mais celui de Laval est merveilleux. Les autres au Québec devrait venir ici & prendre des notes.
Nothing to brag about food. I think they use too much BBQ sauce. The sauce itself is too sweet. They should or may they didn't tell me with other options. Also, just remember if your credit card failed when they run it on the handheld one, they can't manually entered the number. Bummer. That's their system.
Les plats sont très corrects & la nourriture est de qualité mais le service n'est clairement pas à la hauteur.
On a eu pour notre repas 3 serveurs différents.
Après notre plat principal le serveur a débarrassé nos assiettes & récupéré toutes nos serviettes alors que nous souhaitions commander des desserts, puis le 3 eme serveurs nous a apporté les desserts & la facture en nous demandant de payer sur l'instant alors que nous étions entrain de manger.
Vraiment très ordinaire & décevant, clairement pas à la hauteur de la place.

Surprisingly lots of waiters actually speak english which is a bonus.

I've been coming here for so long all of the staff is amazing. The food is always good. Some people get so rude ….a big group started screaming at the manager for not having enough room while he was being calm & compromising with them to make them happy…… & they told him to kick us out to have more room. I mean people really have some nerve the manager was so respectful & tried to make them happy. They got costumers involved for their stupidity it's ridiculous. Made everyone uncomfortable. Rude people.
Everything was great as usual. All good except for the ridiculous entitled group that made a scene because they had to wait like regular human beings for anfew minustes. Yelling profanities at the kids working. Disgusting. We eat here regularly. Always have a good time. Staff is amazing.
I've been to this particular baton rouge multiple times & there always seems to be an issue with something. I ordered a steak with a Caesar salad on the side & the steak was medium rare & charred on the outside just the way I like it. it was absolutely delicious & tender but the Caesar salad was a real letdown. the lettuce looked fresh at the top but as you ate it you saw the brown soggy lettuce on the bottom. I don't know about you, but I really like my Caesar salad with my steak. The greens that accommodated the steak were actually delicious even though I'm not a fan of greens.
