Je vis à montréal depuis trois ans & je vais déménager à la fin du mois. Ce magasin est un délice dont je ne peux pas Me Réjouir. J'ai présenté Kouing Amann à beaucoup d'amis & c'est un délice à ne pas manquer. Ça Me Manquera beaucoup.
I didn't know how a croissant was supposed to taste until I had one here. Every bite was so crispy & flaky & messy in the best way. & their namesake Kouign-amann might be the best dessert I've ever tried. I've searched for a better one ever since, including in Paris, & none have compared.
Incredible. You know when a café has the name of their main dish, it's bound to be good. Au Kouing Amann did not disappoint. Fantastic, fantastic food; the staff are nice, & their Kouing Amaan is divine.
Grab a Kouing Amann takeaway with a warm espresso or filter coffee & sit outside & enjoy it while people-watching on Mont Royal Avenue.
You cannot go wrong with a round plain croissant! It's delicious 3 ingredients & always fresh. I highly recommend for a simple high quality pastry
Highly recommend the kouing Amann & croissants. Croissant are buttery & soft while the kouing amann are served warm. Taste remind me of a pineapple upside down cake with no pineapple & less sickly sweet.
A famous spot definitely worth trying for their beloved namesake, the kouing amann!
Unbelievable! Had this on our last day in Montréal, but should have had it first (to go back!). This was the best Kouing Amann I've ever had! Not absurdly sweet (as some places do). The cheese croissant was great too!!
Arrived 10 min before they closed before our flights back to Vancouver. The only 2 things they had left were their croissant (they are great in its own way, slightly on the salty side) & kouign-amann, shaped like a pancake, but layers & layers of buttery pastry. I didn't know what it was & asked for a slice. The first bite made me cursed so loud. The 2 staff laughed & told my friend I was not the first one to have a reaction like that. Had to ask for additional slice to bring back to my family. If you're travelling to Montreal & making a stop here, bring a container.
Thank you again for ending my trip on such a high note.
