Life changing pastries.
This croissant was one of the most incredible things that I've beheld, you cannot even pick it up without it collapsing. The texture & taste are equally as delicate. Hands down the best croissant. The Kougin-Amann was beyond my ability to capture in words. I recommend eating it with a fork but also just pick a piece up & bite it, 2 different experiences, neither lackluster or ordinary.
The kindest & most patient people here as well.

Amazing fresh pastries! A Must try is the kouign-amann! An incredible taste that you will crave again once you've tried it. We came right in the morning & there was plenty available. The almond croissants were 10/10!

Excellent bakery. The Kouing Amman was heavenly & bursting with butter. The almond croissant was classy (see below). Both pastries were served warm & fresh at noon.

I went to Kouign Amann & tried their signature sliced kouign amann. It was one of the best pastries I've ever had-crispy on the outside, soft inside, & full of buttery, caramelized flavor. I highly recommend it.

I also tried the croissant. It was okay, but I expected it to be better. It wasn't as crispy or flaky as I was hoping.

I stumbled upon this place while walking through the neighborhood & I am so glad I did. The pastries are incredibly buttery & flaky, exactly how they should be. It is rare to find a bakery that gets the texture of a kouign amann just right, but this spot has mastered it. The atmosphere is cozy & the staff is very welcoming. I will definitely be making this a regular stop on my weekend mornings from now on. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates quality baked goods.

I am a huge fan of authentic pastries & this place truly delivers on that front. You can tell they put a lot of effort into their process because the flavor profile is complex & satisfying. The staff are friendly & happy to explain what goes into the different items, which shows they are passionate about their craft. Prices are very fair considering the quality & the portion sizes are generous. It is easily one of the best bakeries in the city & I have already told all my friends about it.

I don't get to enjoy bakeries often due to a pistachio allergy but when I visited Kouing Amann there was no pistachio on the menu so I had the privilege of ordering. My girlfriend & I sampled four of their pastries & all were excellent. The house signature pastry is beautifully layered with a textural contrast & flavor that left me speechless. This bakery is going to be a required stop on any future visit to Montreal.

Still dreaming about the kouign amann. It was served warm, perfectly flaky, buttery, & absolutely delectable!! We loved it so much that we came back twice during our visit. We even took a slice to go, & it was just as delicious later. Easily one of the most memorable pastries we've had while on our trip to Montreal.
