Great place if you want to try arepas in Montreal. The owner, Adriana was really welcoming. Staff was helpful in giving recommendations. There was also live music (not sure if it happens often, but the atmosphere was very nice!)
Went to Arepera last year, it was very good. Like 8/10
Came here again 2025/6/4, it was way worse. The meat wasn't fresh. The corn bread also became worse. We ordered the cassava fries, only 6 fries were given… that's way too stingy.
The salmon were salty, so I assume they used cured salmon. Just order other fish which will be better than the salmon
Last time we ordered pork & fish & it was very delicious, now we order salmon & beef but it wasn't that good.
The cocktail is a skip. Any combination you made yourself at home will be better & cheaper. You can even buy a whole bottle of wine with that price & get better satisfaction out of it. The cocktail costed $10
ONE OF THE BEST RESTO À MONTRÉAL! Affordable, delicious & fresh, the staff are lovely & multilingual! I mean this is a wonderful place to go with friends. The 6$ MIMOSA CANNOT BE BEAT in this city.
I left Venezuela 25 years ago,& any time I have a chance I try any venezuelan restaurant I come across,I live in Vancouver Island were its very hard to find any Venezeulan food except for 1 place that it's an hour away from me, I gt say your empanadas are the best I've had since I left Venezuela save a casa! The guasacaca its incredible! I las empanadas pure perfection ,crunchy delicious & great prices. Thank you for such & amazing experience!
I came to Montreal not knowing I would travel in time to my childhood in Venezuela. Empanadas are just perfect: thin & crunchy, flavourful, delicious stuffing, perfect size, best empanadas in Canada!! Also the guasacaca sauce, omg!!! Not only it is DELICIOUS but it reminded me of my home, my family, when we used to get together on weekends to make'parrilladas' (bbq)! Congratulations guys, you are doing great!!

Ambiance & salle peu chaleureuse pour un restaurant d'Amérique du Sud. Service expéditif : assiette déposée à la hate sans un mot. Cuisine sans trop de saveur : riz & poulet sec.
Amazing restaurant, my husband & I loved our meals. It is also wonderful that everything is gluten free. I loved the avocado sauce & hot sauce that were provided with the food, delicious!

Tout était excellent ! Coup de coeur pour la sauce verte a mettre sur les empanadas ou sur votre sandwich, un BANGER ! on va revenir c'est certain !
La nourriture était excellente, je n'ai rien à dire sur ça. Par contre, grosse déception au niveau du service. Nous étions un groupe de dix avec réservation confirmée plusieurs fois, & jamais on ne nous a informés qu'il serait impossible de séparer les factures. On a donc passé près de 40 minutes perdues à discuter avec le serveur & le propriétaire, qui ont été très peu conciliants & impatients. Au Québec, c'est courant de pouvoir diviser les factures, & quand ce n'est pas possible, on s'attend à être avertis. Dommage, car c'est un des rares restaurants 100 % sans gluten à Montréal.
Cette mauvaise expérience me fait sérieusement hésiter à revenir, malgré la qualité de la nourriture.
