Favorite Italian place! Their pasta sauce rosée is always delicious & they gracefully offered to add some chicken! In the appetizers, the calamari are always fresh & tasty, coming with a delicious side sauce, I highly recommend !
Also, don't forget to try their tiramisu & canoli, they are to die for !
Kudos to the chef! For lunch at AF I tried the fried oyster mushroom sandwich & it was outstanding. Came with a tasty salad. The tower of a sandwich must be eaten with fork & knife because it's about 5' tall. Now I understand why they are called Oyster mushrooms... tasted a little like fried oysters.
Delicious & a very good value these days for a great meatless meal ($21) Sorry I didn't take a photo of this beautiful dish.
Really tasty + high quality food, super friendly server & a beautiful space! We were really impressed!
Lovely italian restaurant on Monkland. The food was excellent. I loved my fried calamari. Crispy & tasty. The arancini were amazing. Not too dry or hard. The pasta was al dente. I would definitely come back!
Incredibly tasty Italian dishes. The gnocchi is gluten free & heavenly! Service was fantastic. Incredibly cute restaurant.
I tried Aqua E Farina once, I liked the atmosphere & the wall paintings there, taking you to Italy & the past. They have good Italian dishes. I took gluten free gnocchi. It was good but a bit greasy for me. My friend took Caesar salad & a soup (can't recall its name) & they were tasty. The waiter was nice. All in all my experience was good. Go & give it a try as I saw they have many interesting Italian dishes😊
Found this cool spot hidden away in a basement, & it was surprisingly awesome. The menu isn't huge, but everything we tried was really tasty. It's got this peaceful vibe that's perfect for chilling out, & even though the service was still pretty good. Feels like a great place to bring the family for a nice meal without any fuss. Definitely worth checking out if you're into finding those not-so-obvious places.
Our server Emmanuelle was helpful & friendly. The Crostini appetizer was absolutely delicious. The gnocchi was very tasty & a nice portion. The fettucine with shredded braised lamb ragu was also very good; & big enough to take home leftovers. Wines by the glass, one Chianti & one Sangiovese, reasonably priced. We were too full for dessert. We were offered a small Tiramisu to share. Their lunch specials & weekend brunch are very good. This is a lovely local neighborhood restaurant. We highly recommend it.
