Its a nice Italian place although expensive in my opinion. The fried calamari was definitely worth it but my pasta alla vongole definitely wasnt. Definitely had better for the same price & definitely not fine dining but an expensive italian bistro.

Visited Alessea Trattoria with my family & really enjoyed the variety of Italian dishes on the menu. We ordered pizzas & shared an entrée of deli meats-both were fresh & flavorful. The kids were thrilled with their chocolate ice cream for dessert, while my husband had the mini cannolis & I had the affogato, which was a nice finish to our meal.
Unfortunately, the service wasn't that great. While most of the staff seemed cheerful & upbeat, our server, Liette, was very cold & didn't smile once throughout the meal. For a family-oriented Italian restaurant, we were expecting a warmer, more welcoming atmosphere.
Far exceeded our expectations. I booked this based on the reviews but the food was even better than we expected. Probably the best Italian meal we've had outside of Italy.
a piece of Italy. truly authentic Italian cuisine. a well qualified & friendly service. Unfortunately, the musical sound was the usual annoying oh oh oh & ah ah ah. That doesn't fit the atmosphere.
Delicious Italian eatery in Magog .. the salad I choose was like eating my grand-papas salad ! The meatballs were perfect , the focaccia superb, best cannoli I've had since childhood 😍

This is a terrific Italian eatery. I think I would place it in the top five of restaurants I have reviewed. I had the minestrone & a salad. Both excellent. My lunch companions had linguini, pizza & salad. All said they were great. I finished with an allongé that was so good, I asked what the brand was. See photo. They did not have gluten free pasta nor pizza dough but did have a soup & salads without wheat. Service was professional & the décor was very good... OK, they did have a couple of large screen TVs on the wall, but they were showing scenes from Italy, so one might say that they added to the atmosphere. I have no hesitation in recommending it if you find yourself in Magog.
Great place to grab your Italian favourites when in Magog. The pizza is made with real dough that had time to rest overnight & is cooked in a decent pizza oven. The service is impeccable & the place was bustling on a Friday night! It is my go-to for Italian fare in Magog.
Walking into this Italian joint is like entering a carb-loaded comedy club where pizzas crack cheesy jokes, & the pasta does a little twirl before stealing the spotlight. It's so delicious; I'm convinced the chef has a secret pact with Italian nonnas who sprinkle extra magic into every dish. If food could tell jokes, these pizzas & pastas would be headlining at the Food Comedy Festival. Bravo, Chef - you've turned my taste buds into a standing ovation!"
A really beautiful place with delicious Italian food. Really nice staff .
I haven’t been to Italy but this restaurant gave me the feeling that I’m in Italy.
