49th Parallel Micro-Torréfacteur Cafe opens its doors in Montreal at its first ever location outside of British Columbia in the summer of 2021. Finding and creating this space was a long, occasionally challenging but always interesting process that took over a year to complete!
The space itself, its location in the heart of Old Montreal and the building’s history were an obvious draw. This was a labour of love from all the people involved in the project, from the contractor to the designer – everyone came together to preserve the charm of the old building with its exposed 100 year old bricks and stone masonry while bringing it to life with a sleek retro design.
Our fourth Café features the 49th coffee everyone knows and loves, Lucky’s donut menu revamped with reimagined Quebec classics and a full kitchen featuring breakfast egg burgers and seasonal brunch offerings (coming soon).

4 stars because the donuts are crazy expensive. Would have been 5 stars otherwise. Coffee is great 👌🏻 IMO, it's a missed opportunity that they didn't translate their name to "Café 49e Parallèle" in Québec.
Good service. I find the area in the back for laid back because of the seating layout with couches & the fake fireplace. Cute café where people can work, study or just talk with friends.
Top tier coffee shop. They have San remo Cafe racer espresso machine. Top tier grinders & a very balanced medium roast espresso bean. Lucky donuts are pricey but very much worth it. I would say this store matches the quality of their original shop in kitsilano Vancouver.
La cadre est sympa dans ce café à donuts & les donuts sont bons, même si un peu trop gros & gras à mon goût. Mais cela conviendra sûrement aux plus gourmand.e.s !

Coffee, amazing. Avo breakfast sandwich, amazing. Service, amazing. Atmosphere, so good. Love everything about this cafe! Disclaimer: I work for 49th in Vancouver, so I may be a bit biased -- but, I would give 49th 5 stars across the board no matter what! :)
Les beignets à la pistache étaient vraiment éclatés au sol. Ils sont 3 derrière le bar pour sortir en 15 min 2 chocolat, belle perf. Le service à la caisse était tout à fait convenable. Café fait pour les traders Tik tok qui prennent les places de 8h a 18h pour rentabiliser leur formation de Oussama Amar. Allez à Tim Hortons vous serez mieux reçu !
Le café arbore un style hipster & tendance, avec une grande salle à manger. L'ambiance reste résolument moderne, accompagnée d'un service satisfaisant. Bien que le menu soit limité, les options proposées sont de qualité, offrant une expérience culinaire décente dans un cadre contemporain & branché.

Bien pour étudier / travailler. Bouffe vraiment bof pour des prix élevés. Les beignes mes amis aiment bien. Généreux & belles saveurs le fun. Les caissiers sont toujours nice 😸 Les cafés sur place / to go très bons mais les grains qu'on a achetés en sac ne l'étaient pas du tout malgré une date de roast récente. Ne pas acheter le café...
