Un très beau café au coeur du Vieux-Montréal, avec une ambiance chaleureuse, charmante et parfaite pour prendre son temps. Le cadre a beaucoup de cachet, le café est excellent et le personnel est accueillant. J'y ai passé un très joli moment autour d'un café et d'une partie de Uno - même si ma bellissima adversaire ne m'a laissé aucune chance. 😄 C'était déjà une belle journée ensoleillée, mais Muru a été le décor parfait pour profiter d'un deuxième rayon de soleil. ☀? Une adresse pleine de charme où je reviendrai avec grand plaisir. Je recommande sans hésiter !

We had the most wonderful lunch here. The service was attentive and thoughtful. The food was flavorful, fresh and served at the right temperature for each dish - which enhanced the flavor of the food. The flavors reminded us of authentic Indian home cooking. It is well located enroute from Quebec to Montreal and Toronto, if you are on a road trip. Would highly recommend.

I came here twice with my girlfriend and we just had to keep coming back because the food is amazing. We ordered Hugo spritzes and those were phenomenal as well. This is a must visit restaurant in Montreal.

My boyfriend and I visited Montreal and came here every night for dinner and ordered the same thing-Hugo spritz, duck confit, Caesar salad, and the focaccia. Everything was amazing every time, service is fast and friendly. The atmosphere and look of everything is incredible.

We really enjoyed our visit. We tried a pizza, half with meat and half without, and the dough was absolutely amazing. Light, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The drinks were excellent as well. It was very busy when we arrived, but despite the crowd, we were served within a very reasonable time. A very enjoyable experience and definitely worth a visit.

'Fantastic spot for a delicious and reliable lunch or dinner. The food comes out quickly, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion size, and the falafel pita sandwich is top-tier. Great place to grab a bite near the metro station-definitely a go-to local favorite!'

J'ai commandé 2 hot dog et 1 poutine avec un breuvage malheureusement les frites dans la poutine n'étaient pas cuite et 1 de mes hot dog la saucisse pas assez cuite le tout pour 22 dollars a part le pourboire 3 dollars. Des restaurant de fast food il y en a beaucoup à montreal et pour moi montreal pool room n'en fait plus partie

We've been to Carlos & Pepe's Laval quite a few times and usually enjoy it, but unfortunately this visit was disappointing. We were a large group celebrating a birthday, and the food was not as good as usual. I ordered three different kinds of tacos to try, but they were cold and soggy. The meat seemed like it had been prepared in advance and reheated, or had simply been sitting for a while. The fajitas, however, were quite good, and the cocktails were great. The service was excellent. William was very friendly and attentive and really made a difference. Hopefully this was just an off night, as we've had much better experiences here before.

I used to frequent this restaurant quite a lot, but the quality has been going downhill over the years. Meanwhile, the chef's anger issue is going in the opposite direction to the roof. today, I walked into the restaurant, and from the moment I entered until the moment I left, the chef was constantly yelling at the female waitress, who I assume may be his wife. The atmosphere was extremely uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I was too hungry to leave, so I still ordered some fried chicken. I bit into the first wing and found that the meat was still pink and visibly undercooked near the bone. I pointed this out to the waitress, and she immediately took it back and said she would bring me another one. aaaand, the chef stared angrily at me. I was obviously naive enough to think that years of being a regular customer might earn me some basic fairness. Man, I was wrong. The second serving was more concerning. the meat was dark and tasted dull and bitter( see picture) I ate a few pieces, paid, and left. Take your anger management course and food safety course before cook again. A customer should not have to choose between tolerating aggressive behavior and risking their health. I have kept the receipt and documented what happened today in case I develop any food-related illness afterward

Une expérience absolument incroyable au Jatoba. Tout était au rendez-vous, du début à la fin. Un immense merci à Catherine et Audrey pour un service exceptionnel : attentionné, professionnel, chaleureux et parfaitement rythmé. Et que dire du menu exceptionnel du chef Olivier : créatif, précis, surprenant et parfaitement exécuté. Chaque plat avait sa personnalité et nous a fait voyager. Une expérience culinaire extrêmement enrichissante qui sort réellement de l'ordinaire. On ressent le souci du détail partout, autant dans l'assiette que dans le service et l'ambiance. C'est exactement le genre de soirée qui nous rappelle à quel point la restauration peut être une véritable expérience. Bravo à toute l'équipe du Jatoba et merci pour cette soirée mémorable. On reviendra assurément.

Un pub qui sert en terrasse ou en salle des plats standards mais sympa. Service québécois très prévenant et mets bien présentés. Salade cesar avec supplément poulet très correct et des ailes de poulet sauce citron poivre très goûtues. Découverte du Clamato attention c est très salé ! Deco originale

This review is long overdue as I've been in Montreal/Verdun for a year today. St. Lo was the first establishment I visited in Verdun and my first and only taste of Montreal bagels and I haven't felt the need to try anywhere else! As a longtime barista and shift supervisor, I agree with the reviewers of all of the great things about this place! They're all very attentive and constantly doing'lobby sweeps' of cleaning off tables, checking in with customers, and keeping the restrooms clean and coffee bar stocked. I'd like to give extra flowers to our favorite St. Lo Staff, Jess! 💐 They always make us feel warm and welcomed by greeting us upon arrival and checking in on us during our stay. When we get a moment to chit-chat, their personality shines through and makes our visit even brighter! And when we're on our way out, they always warmly wave us off. Thanks to St. Lo for setting the bar high in bagels and customer service! Grateful to be a neighbor!

Current post 8/14: Service- exceptional. Atmosphere- clean, no flies, music isn't distracting, decor is tasteful. Food, hit or miss. I had the papaya salad just ok, general tao (tofu) and that was perfect. My guest had Tom Yum soup (meal) and it looked and tasted more like a hot/sour soup than Tom Yum. It wasnt even close to any TY I've had or made. Broth was brown. Huge chunks of bok choy- which is Chinese, not a Thai staple ingredient in TY. And, it was just warm not hot. I would have sent it back but she didn't want to wait. The server / staff was very attentive and courteous. The kitchen should stick to traditional and stay away from'fusion' attempts imo. I'd go back, but i will from this point on be staying away from their soups. Previous post: Putting a 4 bc the other party's general tao was great. Mine, definitely a 3 - I had a thai coco, and i wasn't impressed. Thai Express makes better tom yum. It lacked depth - like an under developed broth. I wouldn't order it again. Not sure why there were edamame beans in it either. Odd choice.
