The most noticeable drawback was the use of salad croutons on top, a stark departure from the traditional slice of bread. This change significantly detracted from the overall experience, as the croutons failed to offer the hearty, absorbent quality that a good piece of bread provides. Moreover, the soup was noticeably lacking in cheese - a crucial element that usually adds a rich, savory depth. Without a sufficient amount of cheese, the soup missed that delightful, melted goodness that is characteristic of a classic French onion soup. In terms of flavor, the soup didn't stand out. It lacked the robust onion essence, & the broth was rather underwhelming. This was quite surprising, especially for a soup at this price point, where one would expect a memorable taste experience. On a positive note, the service was absolutely pleasant. The staff was courteous & attentive, which I genuinely appreciated. However, when it comes to the soup itself, it's a letdown. It fails to live up to the expectations set by its price, & it's not something I would recommend or order again.View more
