We had to ask for water for a group of 20 people & they didn't communicate that they would charge more for a change from a salad to fries with the burger when it was the waiter who suggested it.
Went for a couple of world cup games. Food was great Irish pub food & good beer selection. First visit, guy behind bar/server was extremely friendly & fun to deal with. 2nd visit, woman behind bar did her job but not nearly enthusiastic as out first experience (otherwise would have been 5 star rating, not 4). Overall, great place, lots of TVs & some great memorabilia
Stopped in for a bite before a game at the Bell Centre. Service was quick & friendly, & food came out faster than I expected. Lamb burger was perfection. Great selection of pub fare & beer menu. Spent a bit more than I wanted to, but it's downtown Montreal. Only complaint was the noise & bass were high for Friday at 6PM so had to shout some conversations.

A great place to have drinks & meet nice people. Beer selection is super & the pub has a friendly vibe. It is far more bigger then it looks from the outsiside. Highly recommended!
Food is great as well. We have been here on several occasions.
Ye Olde Orchard has become my favorite local bar now.
I've been coming here for hockey seasons forever-it's just our regular stop when we want to cheer (or groan) at home ice action. We are diehard fans & most people there are too, we were all bummed the Habs didn't make it to the Stanley Cup this year!
The draft beer selection here is good for the area, they keep taps stocked & fresh for all types of drinkers, but especially hockey fans who like a cold local brew or something classic. Plus, the staff do a great job; you really feel welcome there sometimes they even offer me shots! The music is varied enough to set the mood whatever your mood is.
I visited Ye Olde Orchard while I was in town as a tourist to catch some F1 action, & this place became my go-to during my trip. It's located right on de la Montagne street, which makes it incredibly convenient if you're staying at one of the hotels nearby or hanging out downtown core area.
We ordered up some great burgers, everything came through without issue. As for drinks, this was a first-time experience with me as I tried Molson Export & honestly loved it immediately.
Ye Olde Orchard is excellent value & vibe all around. Highly recommend checking out their food & bar if you are in the area.
We headed over to Ye Olde Orchard after our conference ended & found ourselves needing a relaxing break. The bar was near our hotel, incredibly convenient being just steps away! It turned into an evening well spent sitting at the bar where we drank beers all night with colleagues.
We had stellar service throughout; nothing felt rushed, but you never lost that nice energy of the place. I have to give a special shout-out to Mickey behind the bar; she was absolutely wonderful & kept our spirits high for hours. If you're looking for a great spot on de la Montagne with friendly staff & solid drinks, this is definitely it! Highly recommended for anyone stopping over in the area or finishing up work events nearby.
Pub avec service très très moyen. Nous venions pour boire uniquement & ils nous ont fait sentir que nous n'étions pas intéressants sans prendre de repas... Une bière rapide & départ sans regrets
We came here for my boyfriend's birthday to hang out with our friends , hoping for a nice celebration.
I had discreetly asked for a piece of cake to be brought out as a surprise, no candles were available, which was understandable. Unfortunately, the server completely forgot the surprise so i had to tell her again when she was bringing everyone's bills & later she came back & mentioned the cake in front of everyone again saying she will charge me for it, which ruined the moment. We were charged $12 for a single piece, & the server just dropped it down un front of him saying,'No candles sorry, happy birthday.' It felt awkward & disappointing.
We also had multiple requests forgotten. Overall, it just wasn't a great experience for what should have been a special evening.'
