Wow one of the best sushi restaurants in Montreal. This spot deserves to be on the « best sushi restaurants » list. Service is impeccable & you are treated so well (like kings & queens). Umamia serves premium sushis rolls & nigiris with incredible ingredients. The kitchen is in the dinning room so you see all the chefs in action & this is pretty to see. All the sushis were delicious (I recommend them all). I also tasted all the appetizers & they were all excellent. If I had to choose my top 3 : wasabi nori chips, lobster infused miso soup & gyozas.
Les mots nous manquent pour définir à quel point c'était parfait, délectable, beau, bon, frais, accueil parfait, service incroyable .La soupe Miso est exquise, les sushis sont divins Même les desserts sont délicieux & magnifiques! . Je ne sais pas quoi dire de plus ! Nous ne mangerons plus jamais de sushis ailleurs qu'ici ! J'ai déjà hâte à la prochaine fois!

Très belle place à sushi & donburi ! Les sashimis & les nigiris sont très copieux. Dans l'ensemble tout était super savoureux, & les cuisiniers prêtent une attention particulière à la présentation des plateaux. Le service en lui-même était super ! Je ne mets que 4 étoiles, car l'attente a été assez longue durant notre service (à peu près 1h d'attente), mais l'attente en valait la peine. Je recommande sans hésitation! Petit précision : c'est un apportez votre vin, mais il y a un droit de bouchon de 5 dollars PAR bouteille.
An unforgettable experience! The restaurant boasts a beautiful array of entrées that tantalize the taste buds right from the start. The amazing lobster-infused miso soup was a revelation, & we also enjoyed the crunchy & spicy nori wasabi chips. One of the unique features of this place is that it's a bring-your-own-wine spot, which is quite rare in Griffintown, making it a great option for a relaxed evening out. The mocktails were impressive as well, providing a refreshing complement to the meal. The sushi was nothing short of amazing, featuring creative & complementary flavors that showcased the chef's talent. The ingredients were super fresh, & the large portions meant we left feeling completely satisfied. To top it all off, we indulged in exquisite desserts, with the limoncello basil being a standout that I can't recommend highly enough. Furthermore, the décor of the restaurant is gorgeous & creates a warm, intimate atmosphere that's perfect for a date night.
I have no words to describe how amazing this experience was. By far, one of the best sushis I've ever had. The place is very warm, clean & well decorated. People are friendly & caring. Food is just incredibly tasty & worth of a multi starred chef's restaurant. I will definitely go back again & again. If you have a fine taste of elegantly presented meals & very like Japanese/Asian cuisine, going to UMAMIA is a must.
Très bons sushis, faits devant vous, ce qui occasionne une petite attente. Le service était vraiment excellent, A++ Le bémol est le stationnement, qui est presque impossible à trouver. Nous avons dû aller dans un stationnement payant sous-terrain.

Omg! Probablement l'une des meilleures places de sushi, situé à Griffintown! 🍣 Tellement frais & le mélange de saveur est incroyable! Super belle ambiance, resto amenez votre vin, hyper charmant, super comme endroit ! 😊
Une expérience culinaire incroyable au Umamia! Le repas était tout simplement exquis. J'ai commencé par un plat de sushi magnifiquement présenté, avec des ingrédients frais & une texture parfaite. Ensuite, le riz garni de morceaux de saumon & croustillants était un véritable délice, avec une explosion de saveurs équilibrées & une belle présentation. Pour finir, le dessert cheesecake à la mousse fruitée était aussi beau que bon, avec une touche de douceur qui clôture parfaitement le repas. Tout cela accompagné d'un mojito bien préparées. Un restaurant à recommander sans hésitation!
Best sushi place in Montreal by far! Great variety of delicious mocktails & BYOB option. Sushi & poke quality is exceptional, you can tell the fish is fresh & so flavourful. The dessert menu will please everyone's sweet tooth. The restaurant is beautiful & clean, & the great music choices only enhance the experience! Last but not least, the service is amazing! PM & his team really take it to heart to ensure their customers have a great time & it shows! Will be back soon for sure!
Had the most absolute delightful dining experience at Umamia! The food was incredible! Sushi so fresh it melted in your mouth! The service was even better - big shout out to Pierre Mark for making our evening extra special. Love that we can bring our own wine but that there were cocktails & tequila shots readily available! ;) We will definitely be going back & I've been recommending this to everyone I know!
Nourriture exceptionnelle & fraîcheur au rendez-vous. Menu bien structuré & très abordable comparer au autres restaurants de sushi haut de gamme. Service 10/10

De très bon plats & a un prix accessible avec des super sushis! Le personnel est adorable. Je recommande si vous voulez un bon restaurant japonais a un prix abordable!!
Les sushis sont d'une qualité exceptionnelle, frais & savoureux. Mais ce qui rend ce restaurant encore plus spécial, c'est l'accueil chaleureux & le service irréprochable de Pierre Marc. Il est toujours souriant, attentionné & sait parfaitement conseiller les clients. Si vous cherchez un endroit où déguster des sushis de première classe, tout en étant servi avec gentillesse & professionnalisme, ne cherchez plus !
