TSUJIRI a été fondée à Kyoto (Japon) en 1860 par Riemon Tsuji, un maître du thé réputé pour son esprit de "YUWA" — afin de continuer à innover tout en préservant les traditions. Il y a un siècle, M.Tsuji a perfectionné la méthode de culture du GYOKURO, la plus haute qualité de thé vert japonais. Elle est encore utilisée aujourd'hui. Il a également inventé une boîte à thé qui préserve la longévité et la fraîcheur des feuilles de thé durant le transport, permettant ainsi au thé frais de Kyoto d'être disponible dans d'autres villes japonaises. En l'honneur de sa contribution à l'industrie japonaise du thé, une statue de M.Tsuji a été construite à Kyoto en 1933. En 2010, notre première CHAHO (boutique de thé) en dehors du Japon a été ouverte pour perpétuer l'esprit de notre fondateur et servir du thé frais à nos clients dans le monde entier.
Globalement, Tsujiri Montréal est perçu comme une adresse incontournable pour le matcha et les desserts, avec une large offre de patisseries, parfaits et glaces au thé vert, et des boissons comme les lattes et le hojicha, accompagnées de plats chauds tels que ramen et soba pour ceux qui cherchent autre chose. L'ambiance est généralement décrite comme agréable et typiquement japonaise, avec beaucoup de places assises et un cadre convivial qui invite à rester, mais le lieu peut être très fréquenté et bruyant à certaines heures et les prix restent relativement élevés. Le service est le plus souvent salué comme chaleureux et professionnel, bien que quelques expériences négatives aient été signalées, notamment en ce qui concerne le comportement d'un membre du personnel et des incohérences dans les boissons ou les portions, sans que cela caractérise l'ensemble. En somme, Tsujiri Montréal offre une expérience riche en saveurs et en ambiance, avec des desserts et du matcha très prisés, et l'envie de revenir pour explorer davantage le menu malgré les aléas de fréquentation et de qualité parfois variable.
They have great quality matcha for the price, & it's bigger shop than imagined. With modern & calm room decorations that's black. & oh, I love their ice cream! I am a big Matcha fan, so I love that their matcha desserts & drinks taste more'bitter' & tea-like than your usual matcha store. They also offer free wifi, since there are a lot of students around. Unfortunately, I don't think it's a good study place there. During the many times I went there, it's often crowded & kind of noisy.
Amazing tea & food both savoury & sweet but their atmosphere is disrupted by the sound of ANNOYING buzzers has to be a better way

This was our go-to spot for good-quality matcha. The matcha shiratama parfait & matcha latte were rich in flavour. Not too sweet. The lighting in the place was a bit dark for our taste in terms of ambience, but overall, it was a 10/10 for anything matcha-related.
Ordered their signature parfait & matcha latte. Their matcha quality is ok not too great. Their parfait was disappointing for the price. Specially when you are just one block away from Matcha Zanmai. I think they need to up their game with the quality of the matcha & the parfaits. Their atmosphere & seating arrangements were good.
So authentic, from the food down to the matcha. Most places claim their matcha is authentic but Tsujiri really means it. The drinks & dessert are delicious. Plenty of space for indoor seating. Staff were very nice & patient too. I found it a bit pricey, but the quality is definitely high.
amazing experience. the service & quality of the food is perfect ! there is a lot of room inside to sit & it's not too busy either. perfect for working or just spending time while having food / drinks. the matcha lattes taste better than any other place i've been to. the staff is always so nice & welcoming :)!! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to try new places & try new dishes !

We were passing & we saw the name "matcha"...so we decided to stop & have a drink. The service is ok, there are some tables inside & outside, many people with tablets seems like working , enjoying their snaks ...we seated outside to have our matcha drinks & contemplate life calmly. Apparently the matcha has good quality cause it's not so bitter . The latte matcha is creamy & warm. Delicious!! I miss a little bit of originality & personality . The place is ok but very comercial.
We decided to stop by while in Montreal for some dessert after dinner. The matcha soft serve is delicious & the best I’ve ever had. You can taste the quality of the matcha. The base of the shiratama parfait was a matcha jelly layered with red beans. The mochi was chewy (in a good way), & the chestnut added a nice balance to the dessert. I also ordered the yuzu glacé. It was not too sweet & had a nice citrusy flavour —refreshing on a hot summer day. My boyfriend ordered their hot hojicha, poke soba bowl, & dessert parfait. The zesty dressing of the soba bowl tied everything together nicely, & he said he’d get it again. Get the dessert parfait if you like some crunch with your soft serve.
The staff were super friendly & welcoming. :)
The decor is very cozy & pretty with the lights on, which is excellent for a date. There was also an outdoor patio, but it was closed because of the rain.
