I loved the matcha ice cream with mochis! The matcha flavor is rich & makes the ice cream feel light instead of heavy & creamy. It's super refreshing & not too sweet at all!

However, I didn't like that they added about half a cup of jelly, it was way too much & really affected the overall taste & texture of the ice cream. On the plus side, I enjoyed the red bean; its sweetness balanced the ice cream nicely, keeping it from being just bitter matcha with a light texture, & making it sweeter & more flavorful overall.

The portion is a little small, but this is a great spot to hang out, study, or just relax.

I like the interior design, very fancy decor. Service was polite, welcoming & professional. I ordered an iced matcha latte. I was asked if I wanted regular sugar & responded yes. Unfortunately I didn't taste any sweetener, only matcha which was a shame. Compared to the other matcha cafes nearby, this iced matcha latte is a bit more expensive. I do appreciate that they didn't put too much ice since I tend to drink them fast.

Amazing tea & food both savoury & sweet but their atmosphere is disrupted by the sound of ANNOYING buzzers has to be a better way
Their interior could have better tables /chairs to match what high quality the food is

Great matcha tea based resto serving lunch meals (tried the tonkatsu soba) , tasty adzuki matcha & yummy dessert that is not too sweet.

I had high expectations when a friend recommended this place, but unfortunately, I left very disappointed. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt disorganized & unwelcoming, their terrace was a mess, the staff didn't seem engaged or happy to be there. The display was poorly stocked (only two dessert options available at 1pm). I ordered an iced matcha latte that was decent, but my friend's drink, which was supposed to be lightly sweetened, came out far too sweet. Overall, not the experience I was hoping for.

Cosy coffee/matcha shop. Casual talking to friends & passing time with amazing pastry & drinks. The cakes were all amazing & fluffy & light, not too sweet.

This was our go-to spot for good-quality matcha. The matcha shiratama parfait & matcha latte were rich in flavour. Not too sweet. The lighting in the place was a bit dark for our taste in terms of ambience, but overall, it was a 10/10 for anything matcha-related.

adorable place to get matcha sweets & work on your assignments! the owner is super friendly & i've only had great experiences with the staff & the food!

only downside is that, while it has tons of seating places, the cafe gets crowded really fast & almost never has any free tables, so get there early!

Their Tsujiri matcha was really good. 100% of sugar was a bit too sweet for me, but will get less next time :)

Can't stop recommending it to anyone who likes a good cup of matcha. Their drinks, sweet treats & savoury food are all delicious; the team is super friendly & the ambiance is great, so calm & pleasant. Give it a try.

If you like macha, hojicha & Japanese cakes, this is a nice cafe that you must visit. The ambience is quiet & peaceful. Cake & ice-cream with strong green tea flavour & the sweetness is just right.

It's not easy to find an authentic Japanese restaurant in Montreal at such an affordable price, but Tsujiri is a great choice for us. I could easily eat here every week. The matcha ice cream is my favorite-perfectly balanced & not too sweet.

Years later, it's still as delicious as I remember. The matcha ice cream is just right-bitter enough & not too sweet, which I like. However, the cone isn't great; it's not crispy & lacks a smooth texture.

Tasty Matcha ice cream | Not really sweet though | I also tried the Matcha Tiramisu which was good but in my opinion it could have been also a bit sweeter to enhance the matcha flavou

The food was all very delicious! I'm not a huge ramen fan because the ones in the US are normally very salty & heavy but this one is so light, sweet & just salty enough! The soba noodles were so tasty as well as the Poké ball (which could have used more fish but still good) If you're around & looking for a cute cafe with good food & nice matcha drinks, come here!

The matcha ice cream is less sweet than other places in the best way possible.

After coming back from Tokyo, I have been on the constant hunt for the best matcha in Montreal. This Summer, my partner introduced me to this hidden gem called "Tsujiri." Not only did they have the best matcha I ever tasted, they have a delicious array of matcha & hojicha sweets/cakes/desserts & ramen (their tonkotsu is a must try). & to top it all off, the service at Tsujiri is absolutely top-notch & their atmosphere/aesthetic is so Japanese that sometimes I have to remind myself that I am still in Montreal (sadly) & not in Japan. 10/10 Would recommend to each & everyone I know!

I loveeeee Tsujiri!! Can't beat the matcha & hojicha desserts! Also tried the salmon poke soba & it had a delicious slightly sweet vinegary umami flavour! The parfaits & soft serve are my favourite! The hojicha shaved ice is so refreshing 😋

A staple of Montreal's Japanese dessert places that also offers soba & bowls. Their service can be slowed down when many people come but it's always nice & the taste of a matcha parfait with red beans, jelly & mochis is worth the wait. Sometimes they have gluten-free daifukus or sweet yuzu cheesecake.
