Great service, amazing food & the ambiance perfect. We absolutely loved it & highly recommend it. We need to hang on to these places at are family run, & have been around for so long.We eat early so I don't know what to say about making a reservation but if I were you, I'd make one to be on the safe side. Just ate at Trattoria Trestevere, was very pleased with everything, the service is out of this world. In addition, I was very pleased with the gentlemen who helped choose my dinner for me as I was very indecisive. I've been to Italy, & it brought me back for a moment. The ravioli is a must try. I highly recommend this establishment if you are looking for a nostalgic taste like Italy!.
I wanted to share my recent dining experience at Trattoria Trestevere, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
We started with a unique zucchini & prosciutto melon dish. The zucchini was unlike anything I've had at a traditional restaurant-cut into shoestrings & perfectly spiced, it was a delightful surprise.
For the main course, the veal was cooked to perfection, & my cannelloni was simply delicious. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared & truly enjoyable. The zabaglione dessert for two & the Nutella gnocchi were amazing.
What made the experience even more special was the opportunity to converse with the owner, who shared some fascinating stories about the restaurant.
If you're looking for a wonderful dining experience, I highly recommend Trattoria Trestevere. I assure you, you will not be disappointed!
Searched the internet for a good moderately priced Italian restaurant. We weren't interested in fancy with steaks etc. came across Trattoria. I read the reviews & was impressed. This restaurant sounded exactly like what we wanted. It didn't disappoint. The lasagna was excellent along with the spaghetti & meat sauce andTiramisu. The staff was friendly & very accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant. You don't have to spend a lot of money to get excellent food.
The original recipe lasagne from 50 years ago was outstanding. Authentic Italian. Waiters were attentive, informative, friendly, without being intrusive. Highly recommend this place.
We dropped in my chance & were reminded what authentic Italian food should taste like. The food was so tempting that we forgot to take pictures. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend this restaurant. Ravioli & cannelloni were out of this world (& we've been to Italy). Service was excellent. Great ambiance, perfect for a dinner conversation. Go check it out. We went twice in a row!
I recently dined at Trattoria Trestevere & had an excellent experience. The atmosphere was cozy & inviting, the service was top-notch, & the food was delicious. I highly recommend the gnocchi - it was wow. Overall, a fantastic place for a great meal! Will come back for sure

Came with my parents & some friends, & it happened to be my parents' anniversary too. The food was all fresh & delicious, & the staff were delightful, cracking jokes & making sure our glasses were always full. We had tiramisu & creme brûlée for dessert, & they brought out some of the fried gnocchi for us to try as well. Didn't get any pictures because we ate it all too fast, but it was beautiful as well as tasty. Highly recommend!
Tonight, my friends & I visited Trattoria Trestevere in Montreal & we could not be more pleased with the experience that we shared. We were here for a bachelor dinner & we were greeted & served by our waitor & owner, Mauro! He was very warm, welcoming, hospitable, knowledgeable, & dedicated to excellence in customer service. He made great recommendations & the food was nothing short of delicious. We had an incredible 5 star experience & we highly recommend this establishment; the service, environment, & food! First time in Montreal...best experience at a restaurant in a really long time! Luis was our server..great personality! Very attentive! Paolo came by often...very personable! Highly highly recommend!!
