Excelente comida....servicio y ambiente...realmente 5 estrellas...la comida deliciosa de inicio a final....tostada con crudo de atun un manjar al paladar...pollo a la barcelona realmente rico y la textura perfecta, Pulpo a la galicia delicioso, patatas bravas, churro...realmente me quedé con ganas de volver ....felicito al chef Juan y su esposa...por brindarnos esta gran y maravillosa experiencia que disfrutamos mi esposo y yo. 5/5 en todo sus aspectos...y ni que decir las bebidas...tanto los vinos y la cerveza A1... Outstanding creative dining experience. Lawrence was the perfect server making super recommendations & ensuring we were happy throughout the evening. We actually started at their sister restaurant but when the server saw my wife didn't look happy with the menu due to personal dietary restrictions she suggested we go next door. She even came to see us to see if we were happy!! Amazing. We had the olives, almonds, dorade & chicken leading up to the churros. It wasn't my first time at Tinc Set, but I can honestly say that it's always a pleasant experience. Their tapas are phenomenal, & every night they have 3 different types of wine, that they serve by the glass. Last Saturday the wines were a white, orange & red from Catalonia, all natural & privately imported. The service was outstanding, & the food was out of this world. I went with two of my friends & we practically ordered the entire menu. The dishes that truly stood out were the scallop ceviche, served on a bed of guacamole, the grilled octopus with mashed potatoes & chorizo oil, & tuna tostada , which was the most flavoured tostada , I had ever had. The sauce on tuna was made of smoke sea breem, it was creamy, zesty & had a great kick to it. Thd brussel sprouts were insane, deep fried with a creamy sauce made with anchovies. The waiter was extremely knowledgeable about all the wines in stock & gave an excellent description & suggestions. Makes me want to return to try the other wines he had suggested as well. As for the restaurant itself; the food was excellent & without any pretentious vibe or outdated dress code. Very warm, cozy & welcoming. Great ambience & amazing orange wine but terrible service. I suspect they didn't like us because we're early 20s & anglo.Did not feel welcome & we left pretty quickly. Also do not come here just for a glass of wine, you have to order food. Oh & a glass of wine is really half a glass of wine.Voir plus

Great little restaurant. Chicken & octopus were the highlights, octopus is really well cooked & tender. Very good selection of nature wines (not my thing but they still have a good selection :) ). I really hate to write these negative reviews, but what I hate even more is paying good money for relatively bad food. Just an fyi, I have been to many North American restaurants that offer Catalan cuisine, unfortunately this spot just does not do it. Environment is cute, & the staff were friendly but the food was really not there. Maybe consider going here if you want Catalonia natural wine & a small snack but that’s really it. Olives were not good, tostada was mid, the calamari for $23 was a burger with very minimal pieces of calamari on stale hard bun. Extremely disappointing- we ended up spending approx $250 ($70 on wine rest on food) did not stay for dessert. If you have money to burn & throw out would recommend- if you cherish your meals & are specific about good quality & tasteful artistic dishes would highly not recommend. Disappointing. The food is actually pretty good if you're in for the fare they serve. A lot of the guests I came with did not like the food. It's also expensive, so that's why I rate the service so low. We came with a group of 12 & were served family style. When it came time for the bill with a split bottle of wine & two beer I paid $330 for my wife & I. The service was inattentive at best. The decor is shabby & run down as well. I felt like I was robbed. I would try something else before coming back here. Also the wines are straight up bad. You can't hide behind the quality by calling them organic even if they are.Voir plus
