The Keg Steakhouse + Bar a ouvert les portes de son premier restaurant à Vancouver en 1971. Qualité, confort et valeur sont donc les trois ingrédients qui distinguent l’expérience Keg de toute autre dans le domaine. The Keg ne sert que des steaks de coupes supérieures, vieillis pour une tendreté incomparable, et relevés d’un mélange unique d’assaisonnements. Aussi au menu: cocktails classiques, entrées exquises, fabuleux fruits de mer et un grand choix d’excellents vins. Sympathique et attentionné, le personnel s’y connaît et sait créer l’ambiance qu’il faut pour que chacun profite pleinement du moment en toute simplicité. Que ce soit pour une rencontre entre amis ou pour une célébration en famille, The Keg est l’endroit parfait pour vivre une soirée mémorable.
Dans l'ensemble, The Keg est un choix solide pour les amateurs de steak, avec de nombreuses visites présentant des steaks savoureux et bien cuits, des accompagnements fiables et un service attentif dans un cadre chaleureux et animé qui convient aussi bien aux occasions qu'aux repas plus décontractés; les clients louent souvent la qualité constante, le bel esprit du bar et le personnel sympathique, avec plusieurs moments marquants où le personnel est allé au-delà des attentes. Certaines visites souffrent de salles bondées, de bruit, ou d'un service plus lent, et quelques plats manquent de perfection en cuisson ou en assaisonnement, entraînant des expériences variables. Le prix peut être un facteur, mais beaucoup estiment que la valeur est correcte pour l'expérience de steakhouse, et les réservations sont recommandées en période de forte affluence.
If I could give 10 stars to service, I would have.
We were a party of four wanting to enjoy a good steak with a good glass of wine.
We just walked out of Baton-Rouge because we sat for 30 minutes totally invisible to staff, not even being served a glass of water.
I called in & I was guaranteed at table at The Keg.
From the moment we walked in, the ladies at the reception were courteous & charming. We were accompanied to our table. When I asked where to hang our coats, the same lady came to our table, took our coats & checked them in the vestiaire, bringing back the checking coupons.
I believe our waiter was Dylan. He quickly introduced himself, offered us water, answered our questions about the wine choice & the meat cuts, made recommendations, in summary, excellent service.
There was the lady helping them like maybe a supervisor or something, when she noticed I loved their ginger sweet sauce that comes with the calamaries, she brought more to the table & got me extra to take home with me.
Needless to say our meal was excellent, meat cooked to perfection according to each one's desire.
The ambience was smart casual, family gatherings, friends reunions, some couple enjoying time in a tête-à-tête mood & the hockey game was on without being overwhelming.
We arrived at 5pm, left around 8:30pm & we didn't see time go by. We spent a very nice late afternoon/early Sunday evening.

I recently dined at The Keg Steakhouse + Bar Pointe-Claire & unfortunately left disappointed with the overall experience.
Our group arrived with two additional guests, & while I understand space constraints can happen, the situation was not handled well. The manager, Luis, assured us he would bring over an additional table once one became available, but he never returned or checked in with us again throughout our three-hour visit. This lack of follow-through felt unprofessional & not reflective of strong hospitality standards.
Service throughout the evening had several oversights. Our server seemed rushed when taking orders, & the guest of honor was the only one left without a drink initially, which set the tone early on. There was also little to no engagement in terms of suggesting appetizers or desserts, which contributed to a transactional'get them in, get them out' feeling rather than a welcoming dining experience.
That said, the food itself was excellent & met expectations, which makes the service shortcomings even more noticeable.
Having spent 30 years in hospitality, I know how important it is to create a memorable experience for guests-especially when challenges arise. With rising dining costs, service & attention to detail are what truly set a restaurant apart. Unfortunately, that element was lacking during this visit.
I hope improvements are made, as the food quality is certainly there-but the overall guest experience needs to catch up.
Wow! Honestly the best & most professional & classy waiters & hosts I've had at any Montreal restaurant! They are so polite & friendly! So welcoming! & the food is fantastic too & so is the interior! It's actually inexpensive in price when you consider all that! My new favourite restaurant for sure!
We go to the Keg quite often but this visit was disappointing to say the least. We went to celebrate my birthday . Unfortunately steaks were medium well, instead of medium rare! In short looking for a new steakhouse. Suggestions are welcomed
Had an amazing evening at The Keg Pointe-Claire-easily the most impressive Keg location I've visited. We kicked things off with the calamari, which was perfectly done, & moved on to the steaks… absolutely spot on. Every bite delivered.
A special shoutout to our waitress Maddie & the manager Marina, who both went above & beyond to make sure everything was flawless. Service like that makes all the difference.
From start to finish, The Keg PC never disappoints. Our hostess Mikaela was lovely & professional….our server Sean was knowledgeable, friendly & quite entertaining. Always recommend this place for a wonderful dinner out or simply a 5 à 7.
Great atmosphere & quality food.
Good menu. Attentive wait staff . Free parking . Accessible for challenged people. Reservations recommended as this is a popular eatery . Dinner for two with wine $190 plus tax.

Notre visite au The Keg de Pointe?Claire a été tout simplement impeccable, du début à la fin. L'ambiance est chaleureuse & élégante, parfaite autant pour un souper en famille que pour une soirée plus spéciale.
La nourriture était à la hauteur de la réputation du Keg : viandes parfaitement cuites, assaisonnements justes, portions généreuses & présentation soignée. Tout était savoureux, bien maîtrisé & constant, ce qu'on apprécie énormément dans ce type d'établissement.
Cela dit, ce qui a réellement élevé notre expérience à un autre niveau, c'est le service hors pair de Louis. Attentionné, extrêmement serviable & d'un professionnalisme exemplaire, il a su nous conseiller avec justesse, être présent au bon moment & anticiper nos besoins sans jamais être envahissant. Son attitude positive & son souci du détail font toute la différence & méritent d'être soulignés.
Un grand bravo à toute l'équipe, & un merci tout spécial à Louis pour ce service remarquable. Nous reviendrons assurément & recommanderons cet endroit sans hésite

Celebrated New Year's at the Keg & was served by Matthew. Service was phenomenal. Being in the restaurant industry myself, I know to proper steps of service. The food was delicious & came steaming hot, the allergies were taken care of, the manager made sure to touch our table & the atmosphere was beautiful. Considering it was jam packed, everything came quick. Would strongly recommend going to the Keg in Pointe-Claire if you're looking for a great date night spot, night out with the boys or girls or for a party. Amazing bar section as well!
The Manager Pierre-Alexandre Themens is the best Manager that I have encountered in years. We had 6:00 reservation & unfortunately the had run out of prime rib. Pierre-Alexandre came over to our table & explained what had happened, he was very kind & comped us some wine. Even when we were leaving he was at the door & apologized again. We felt he went above & beyond to make our evening more enjoyable. Food was excellent even without the prime rib. Thank you
This is the zillion times I eat at the Keg & provided many reviews before, this time is to simply say what an amazing service we got from Maria, our waitress. 5/5 for service. PS: the 3 is because my wife steak was cooked rare while we asked for medium rare!
I'm we take 4 Hambourger take out 3 of them was burn wowwwww this is grazy you pay over $$$ & you get burn hamburger & they call them self cooks come one pls !
