The Keg Steakhouse + Bar a ouvert les portes de son premier restaurant à Vancouver en 1971. Ayant pris de l’expansion au Canada et aux États-Unis depuis ses débuts, il compte maintenant plus de 100 adresses. Bien que son nom et son décor aient changé au fil des décennies, l’expérience gastronomique est restée la même à ce jour. I loved my prime rib sandwich. Soaking it in the jus was so insanely good. The three cheese butter with our starter bread was so good. My fiancee ordered a filet mignon which came very underdone for what we asked. Thankfully, our waiter noticed as he checked in, & fixed it for us. Delicious. They comped our drinks & gave us free dessert after. Great save. Good service, delicious food.

I went there for lunch with my wife, it was a great experience... The food delicious, the staff very friendly & the Atmosphere is cozy... I really recommend the Filet Mignon & the Steakhouse Cut Bacon as a starter... However the dessert menu is very limited & more diverse items should be added!

Meghan won our hearts tonight. I know this is a slightly longer review, but you will not regret reading it.
We order two glasses of wine. A lady serves my wife just a sip for tasting. My wife doesn't like the wine. The lady opens another bottle - no questions asked. Mind you we're not ordering a bottle, just two glasses.
Then the lady asks if we're celebrating anything. Yes, we are. It is our very first dinner after moving to Montreal all the way from ?stanbul, Turkey. We tell her the kids are nervous. She takes the time to console them.
I ask her if it would be all right to mention her name specifically in a Google Maps review. She says'I'm Meghan, THE general manager'. She touches our hearts with her humbleness.
It is not yet over: Her team prepares us a surprise dessert at the end of our wonderful dinner. (Did I mention the food was heavenly?)
Words are insufficient to describe Meghan & her great team. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. What a wonderful welcome to Montreal.

Our server was very nice & knowledgeable. There was a tendency to be a little pushy with promoting more drinks & desserts which was a little annoying. Food was great however. The ribeye was remarkably delicious. However, the first one came out not at the temperature I ordered which was frustrating.

At this location, I was captivated by the interior staircase which blended aesthetics with practical design. The ambiance was both casual & elegant, the service was impeccable from start to finish. Of the many steak cuts available, the baseball sirloin has always been my favorite, medium rare, juicy & crusted to perfection. The wine list was extensive, offering plenty of choices by the glass. Desserts were huge, perfectly enough to share.

Je suis venu avec ma copine pour souper. Lorsque ma copine a reçu un steak légèrement trop cuit, la serveuse n'a pas hésité à en faire un autre en s'excusant & offrant même un dessert. Merci beaucoup pour le service, la nourriture était excellente! Je recommande à 100%

I love The Keg, especially around the holidays. It feels so festive & you are guaranteed a great meal with impeccable service. We were fortunate enough to have Rudy as our waiter which put a special touch on our evening. The food was excellent, the ambiance was lovely, & the prices are comparatively reasonable to other upscale steakhouses, especially considering the quality & generous portions. I will always recommend The Keg for groups as there is something for everyone & they take special care of people with allergies - more than I have ever seen. What a beautiful touch that was. Thanks for keeping everybody safe & happy. I hope the Egg Nog (better with dessert than as a starter cocktail, IMHO) comes back every year!

Me & my husband came here for his birthday & omg what a surprise! The food was amazing & the service was the best. I really want to thank my server Randy for making my husband feel special for his birthday. He brought him out the best dessert we've ever had with sparklers! He was so polite, accommodating & very friendly! Will definitely be returning. 10/10 recommend!

My wife & I went for dinner yesterday. We both ordered the lobster & steak summer special. There was a small mixup with my order when they brought out our meals. The server was extremely apologetic & right away placed a rush on my order. She also brought me a complimentary shrimp cocktail while I waited & it was quite delicious. It was only a few minutes before they brought me out my order. Food was very good. The server then offered 2 complimentary desserts. We were so full so we told her we couldn't eat another bite. The server then proceeded to pack us up our two cheesecakes for us to take away. I thought that was above & beyond. I understand mistakes happen once & a while & we felt very well taken care of by the staff when they realized this happened. 5 stars! This is why we like The Keg. Food & service is consistent no matter where you go.

Amazing place, great service. Food was delicious. Bacon wrapped scallops, salmon, & steak, all were on point. They were very accommodating with out-of-menu cocktails & they still tasted amazing. We were celebrating an occasion & to our surprise, we were served complimentary dessert on the house. Highly recommend!

We've been to this wonderful restaurant twice & it has been a great experience both times indeed 😇 The restaurant had the summer lobster special menu & we had lobster gratinée for entree to the lobster roll to the Sirloin & half Atlantic lobster for the main meal & every bite was beyond delicious ❤️ Cannot give enough thanks to the wonderful chef for making each bite a gourmet delight ❤️ We also appreciated the impeccable service showcased by the staff with great hospitality & always asking if we like the food to always making the rounds & being on their feet 😊 The dessert was the deliciously awesome Billy's miner pie & mini crème brûlée along with latte ❤️ We cannot recommend this 11/10 venue & it's the best place to have date nights or just a get together with friends & family ❤️

Easily accessible with interior access from the REM & metro. Nice decor & the food is fantastic. Our server Nathan was very attentive. He overheard it was my birthday & surprised me with a dessert with a sparkler on it compliments of the restaurant.

I came here for my 3 year anniversary & had an amazing time. The waiter was amazing & helpful. He gave us great recommendations for dessert which was much appreciated since we were full but still was in the mood for something sweet. The steak & lobster was a fantastic. This is the place you'd want to take someone special & enjoy great quality time with them. The atmosphere really set the tone for our night.

I was here for my birthday & the food was meh. Bread was mid. The cheesy garlic bread was okay. The drink was not sweet enough. The steak was disappointing but the potato mash was very well made. The dessert was great & it was free because, birthday 🎉

Tried this Keg location the other night for a bday supper.
We usually go to the old Montréal Keg but for a change we tried this place in PVM.
This place was great. The staff was professional except for our waitress who looked like Charlotte Cardin which was not very attentive & never came & poured us wine.
It's ok because everything else was great.
We will be going back there now also.
The food is really good & the portions are good too
This place makes you feel good you went for a nice steak dinner & everything went well.
The price is good considering the quality you are eating.
This is not a cheap place but well worth spending for what you get.
I recommend trying this place out & if your waitress looks like Charlotte Cardin then maybe ask to sit elsewhere.
So far The Kegs have all been good except for the Pointe-Claire location which is a joke.
Go try the Place Ville Marie location, you won't regret it or the old Montréal Keg.
The menu variety is awesome & don't forget to keep some room for dessert.
Go try it now you will thank me later
It's in the heart of downtown, the best location possible.
Call them & reserve or show up at the door they usually can help you either way.
GO NOW STOP PROCRASTINATING GET UP & TREAT YOURSELF & SOMEONE ELSE TO A GREAT MEAL, YOU DESERVE IT !!!!
GO TONIGHT OR ON THE WEEKEND, YOU WILL LOVE IT !

J'aime bien aller y manger un bon steak juteux avec les pomme de terre pilé à l'ail. & pour dessert le Billy Minor Pie est un délice qu'il faut essayer.
Le service est courtois & l'atmosphere y est à la fête.
Je recommande.

Most Amazing Filet mignon ever! Took out a friend for her birthday & we were very impressed. Portions are huge! Lobster tail was yummy & dessert was an icecream cake to die for! Our waiter was really nice & informative. I'm planning on going back for my birthday.
