I went to The Keg Steakhouse in Montreal for my birthday dinner & absolutely loved both the food & drinks. It's easily one of my favourite spots for celebrating special occasions. The portions were generous, & everything was flavourful & satisfying. The atmosphere felt warm & inviting, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It's definitely on the pricier side, but for the quality, service, & overall experience, it's completely worth it.
I went here for my 65th birthday. One person in our party of 4 had an onion allergy. The servers & staff took extreme measure to insure that everything was good for this person. One of the managers made 3 trips to our table to insure everything was good for this person. I must say we were all impressed with their level of care for the safety of their patrons. The food as always at the Keg eas fantastic.
& to top it off, the person with the allergy left their bag behind but before we got to far they called us of the item left behind. Again great attention to details.

Had a great night at The Keg Downtown! The Rib Steak was absolutely perfect - juicy, flavorful, & cooked exactly right. The Tuna Tartare wasn't my favorite appetizer, but everything else made up for it.
Update:
Tonight was my girlfriend's birthday, so we went to this restaurant. Our waiter was Jason. After I told him it was my girlfriend's birthday & I wanted to order a cake, he said he'd bring one as a surprise. I only asked for a candle on it. He told me not to order it myself. Unfortunately, he never brought anything & just handed me the bill. This ruined our once-a-year birthday night & really embarrassed me in front of her. I'm writing this to let you know I come here at least weekly-whether for drinks or their incredible steaks-but one unprofessional waiter has completely ruined my night & my view of this restaurant.
Came in for my friend's birthday 2 hours prior to closing & had a good experience. Nathan was a delight! My only complaint would be hearing a female server comment on guests coming in near closing. That's not good service & didn't feel very welcoming. Apart from that, the food & drinks tasted great & our server was amazing.
My group came for dinner for two birthdays. The food was delicious, & the staff were excellent! Our waiter, Jonathan, was great! It was our second time having him as a waiter, & he is very nice & professional!
The team at this Keg location are true pros who absolutely went the extra mile for us.
Led by their GM Megan (sp?) they impressed at every turn.
We had some requests that REALLY were borderline impossible.
They came through.
& my cousin's birthday went off wonderfully.

Amazing experience for my birthday dinner party on Friday night. Everything was perfect. The ambiance is cozy & fun, the food was absolutely delicious (had the beef rib with au jus sauce & lobster tail). Great selection of wine, we fell in love with the Italian Zinfandel.
The best part was the service from our waiter Vincent who did everything to make us feel welcomed & special. He is friendly, professional, very generous of his time & he knows when to be present & entertaining & when to be discreet.
3 hours of pure fun

Been there on my birthday with my family. After having the best steak of my life, we got a birthday-cake for free without asking. One of the best restaurants I've ever visited. 10/10
Classic The Keg with a very nice terrace, great food & great service. As usual they didn't disappoint, shutout to our waiter Noah for taking care of us! My filet mignon was cooked to perfection & served with delicious sides. The drinks were so good & the atmosphere was perfect. If you can, get a table on the terrace. On a nice day, it's amazing! If you're there for a birthday celebration, the cake is HUGE & you can absolutely share.
I went here today for my hubby birthday.,It was our first time at this location & coming to montreal. The server & manager was really nice & welcoming. There was a little mishap where the chicken was undercooked & the server Noah & the manager was really apologetic & gave me another right away they even took it off the bill..I have to say I've been to over 10 keg locations & this one is definitely my favorite even the flavor of the food is exceptional & better than other locations I've been to.. Again I'll like to thank Noah for being such a great server❤?
Recently went there for my birthday & it was amazing. The cauliflower & fried calamari entries were delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare & seasoned to perfection. The accompaniments were delicious & i got a complimentary ice cream cake for my birthday. In addition, the service was incredible got our appetizers under 20 mins & our dishes under 45 mins

First time at the Keg & I loved it! We were there for my wife's birthday & they made it an unforgettable experience not only offering a great service but also treating her with unexpected yet delicious surprises. Highly recommended!!!
Came to the Keg with my partner downtown for my birthday. Had a decent experience although I couldn't say I was happy with the group of 4 women who sat behind us in a booth for two. They had been very loud & often using swear words out loud drawing the attention of some other guests. The French only soup was delicious, however the Caesar salad was disappointing as you don't get too much. Burger was very good & the steak sandwich was juicy.
Me & my husband came here for his birthday & omg what a surprise! The food was amazing & the service was the best. I really want to thank my server Randy for making my husband feel special for his birthday. He brought him out the best dessert we've ever had with sparklers! He was so polite, accommodating & very friendly! Will definitely be returning. 10/10 recommend!
We came here last night after receiving horrible service at Sel Noir Steakhouse that we actually walked out. The Keg definitely redeemed our night. Amazing food & service. Our server was extremely attentive & friendly & made me feel special for my birthday. I wish I got his name! Anyways, highly recommend coming here. Great atmosphere & staff. Thank you so much!

Easily accessible with interior access from the REM & metro. Nice decor & the food is fantastic. Our server Nathan was very attentive. He overheard it was my birthday & surprised me with a dessert with a sparkler on it compliments of the restaurant.
Never disappoints! This particular location is our go to keg for birthdays & special occasions. The food & drinks are absolutely amazing & delicious, the service is top notch & the atmosphere is honestly the best I have ever experienced. Highly highly recommend this steakhouse!
I was here for my birthday & the food was meh. Bread was mid. The cheesy garlic bread was okay. The drink was not sweet enough. The steak was disappointing but the potato mash was very well made. The dessert was great & it was free because, birthday 🎉

During my recent visit, I encountered some difficulties while trying to place an order for pickup. Although I don't want to delve into the specifics, I would like to highlight the outstanding assistance I received from Megan. My family & I were in town to celebrate my birthday & while we typically dine in at the Keg, this time we decided to opt for takeout dinner as we had our little one with us. Being a loyal customer of the Keg for over 30 years, I have always had wonderful experiences & this visit was no exception. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I requested to speak with the manager to address the issue I encountered. Megan went above & beyond to handle my entire order & even offered me a special menu item as compensation for the inconvenience. I want to take this opportunity to express my appreciation for Megan's exceptional service. The Keg has always impressed me not only with their delicious food but also with their unparalleled customer service. It is this level of service that has kept me coming back for all these years.
Most Amazing Filet mignon ever! Took out a friend for her birthday & we were very impressed. Portions are huge! Lobster tail was yummy & dessert was an icecream cake to die for! Our waiter was really nice & informative. I'm planning on going back for my birthday.
