Bien que son nom et son décor aient changé au fil des décennies, l’expérience gastronomique est restée la même à ce jour. The Keg ne sert que des steaks de coupes supérieures, vieillis pour une tendreté incomparable, et relevés d’un mélange unique d’assaisonnements. Dans l'ensemble, The Keg Steakhouse + Bar est perçu comme un lieu au cadre chaleureux, avec une ambiance agréable, des viandes de qualité et des cuissons souvent bien maîtrisées, des desserts appréciés et un service généralement professionnel et attentionné qui fait la différence lors d'occasions spéciales ou de groupes. Cependant, des variations existent selon les visites: des plats parfois mal cuits ou mal présentés, des prix jugés élevés et des portions pouvant sembler plus petites, des temps d'attente et des soucis d'hygiène signalés ponctuellement, ainsi que des choix d'accompagnement peu originaux. Excellent service, revenait souvent, sans avoir l'air débordé, il a toujours pris le temps de répondre à nos questions.
Cote de boeuf 14 oz cuisson recommandé du chef avec pure de pomme de terre. La perfection 👌🏼 Filet mignon 7oz saignant fondant dans la bouche avec pomme de terre montery jack.
Le tout accompagné d'un verre de pinot grigio 9oz & une IPA.
En arrivant environ 30 minutes d'attente, service gentil & courtois. Débuté avec un Whisky sour (qui goûtait l'eau, malgré 2 onces) Pris pétoncles & fromage en entrée, filet mignon 10 onces, très bon en passant avec légumes sautés (ou plutôt brûlés) , cuisson manquante & trop brûlé, terminé avec une crème brûlée qui était bonne. A essayer au moins une fois.

Le meilleur filet mignon médium saignant au monde & les pommes de Terre pilées à l'ail ainsi que le pain beurre à l'ail & légumes sautés champignons carottes haricots verts de même qu'une belle salade Panacée fraîcheur assurée ❤️❤️❤️
C'est de loin mon restaurant préféré. J'adore commencer avec leur succulents calamars frits & une pina colada. Le filet mignon cuisson medium-saignant avec les patates monte-carlo sont délicieux. Pour terminer leur gateau au mocha fondent dans la bouche avec un goût sucré & doux. Il fait un peu froid dans la salle à cause de l'air conditionné. Mais sinon je suis satisfait du restaurant
Last night we were at the keg laval to celebrate 2 birthdays. We usually have all our celebrations at the keg. This is now the 3rd visit in a row that I have to send back a meal. I ordered my usual 10oz filet mignon, cooked medium. I received meat that was just about well done. I sent it back only to have the whole table completely finish their meals before mine came back. This second piece of meat was well done around the perimeter & nearly raw in the center. I give up! I'm very disappointed. The service was horrible, as if the waiter just didn't care. Hardly ever came to the table. Another person at the table ordered the roast beef. Inedible, fat & nearly raw. His was replaced quickly with another more acceptable piece. We have been coming to the keg for many years. Last time I sent back a rib steak & the time before that also a filet mignon, also 10oz. Is it the cooks fault? I don't want to lay blame but something is not right. Also sub-par service from the waiter! We used to love coming to your restaurant but after last night's experience I'm not sure if it's the right thing to do. This is the third bad experience.
I visit this Keg quite frequently whether it's with family or friends. I am focusing on rating the average of my experiences in all fairness, but unfortunately my most recent one was pretty disappointing due to the poor service. The food has been consistently incredible, there's no doubt about that. I highly recommend either the Filet Mignon for the ultimate experience, or for a more cost effective experience the New York Striploin would be an excellent option as well. In large groups, we seem to get quite a variance in terms of the cookage (i.e. undercooked/overcooked with respect to what we ordered), but the quality is always there. As a side, the twice baked potato is by far the best option. The ambiance is quite nice as well in terms of lighting, environment, seating, decoration, etc. Definitely appropriate for most occasions. The service however has been gradually declining for a while. Our latest experience was quite dreadful as we waited at least a half hour over the time we had reserved, & very long between subsequent stages (ordering food & time between meals, etc). The whole night ended up taking nearly 4 hours & it became exhausting. There was also negligible service in terms of feedback or tailoring to any need whatsoever (something as simple as getting water or missing utensils, etc), it was really the bare minimum as if the waiter did not want to be there whatsoever. Honestly if this had been my only experience, I would never go back. However I hope this was a one-time thing & will be remedied in future visits. Certainly not what you would expect from a restaurant of this much prestige. Overall, the food was worth it, but consistency across the board is very important in order to earn a 5 star review, & the service is just not up to par with usual Keg standards.
First time dining experience. My family took me out for my birthday. Service from Isabelle was great. Appetizers (Tuna tartare) excellent. Wine suggested paired well with our food. All the steaks were cooked perfectly as ordered. My filet mignon was tender, juicy, melt in your mouth. Enjoyed total experience. A bit loud but overall a great night out.

I'm a frequent visitor to The Keg restaurant, & I can confidently say it's my top choice for a delightful steak dinner. Whether it's a special occasion or just a craving for a well-cooked steak, The Keg never disappoints. One of the standout features of The Keg is the impeccable service they provide. I've dined there a lot, & the service is always perfect. The staff is attentive, friendly, & they make you feel welcomed from the moment you step in. They are knowledgeable about the menu, offer excellent recommendations, & ensure that your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. But, of course, the star of the show is the steak. The quality & consistency of their steaks are unparalleled. Every time I order a steak at The Keg, I know I'm in for a treat. Whether you like it rare, medium-rare, or well-done, the chefs at The Keg always get it right, & the taste is mouthwatering. The restaurant's ambiance is another reason why I keep going back. It strikes a perfect balance between elegance & comfort. The dimmed lighting, cozy seating, & the aroma of sizzling steaks in the air create a warm & inviting atmosphere. It's equally suitable for a romantic date night or a family celebration. The menu at The Keg offers a variety of steak options, from classic filet mignon to ribeye, & they also have a range of delicious sides to complement your meal.
