Beautiful architecture, but mediocre service in my opinion.We had a reservation for 8:45pm, called on our way there, the women on the phone stated she couldn't find our reservation when we booked it 4 weeks ago.They fixed this issue,but proceeded to make us wait almost an HOUR for a table in the lobby. While we were in the lobby, they called us multiple times & kept pushing back the time we would receive a table.This was already an inconvenient as it is, but while we were seated at the table the wait was very long.Server only came once to refill our water & she only filled the person that was closest to her.Food was good, but not worth the wait, you can get better & cheaper in many others restaurants.

Je donne le 5 étoiles pour l'excellent service de Carl ce soir , ce n'était pas notre première fois au keg mais c'était la première fois que l'ont recevait un aussi bon service comme ça . Il connait bien son menu & nos verre n'était jamais vide .

The food was excellent. My wife & I ordered a Filet Mignon steak. It came with some grilled vegetables & some sauce for the steak. She took a baked potato with it, & I ordered garlic mash potatoes.

On the side they gave a fresh baked mini bread with butter. This was also excellent. Their coffee is very good. In fact better than the coffee we get at some other places. Their desserts are also impressive.

Everything was absolutely perfect. It was an enjoyable experience for us. The service was terrific.

Overall, a decent, slightly above-average experience on the terrace at The Keg, but there were a few details that could definitely be improved, especially considering the price point.

My friend & I started with a couple of appetizers. The calamari was just alright - compared to other experiences, the fried coating was very thick, to the point where you could barely notice there was actually calamari inside. The baked brie, on the other hand, was quite good & we enjoyed it.

For our mains, we both ordered 20oz rib steaks rare. Unfortunately, the cooking was quite inconsistent. My friend's steak came closer to medium/medium-well, while mine was rare in the centre but much more cooked on the outside. For a steakhouse, I would expect more consistency & precision when it comes to the temperature of the steaks.

There were also a few small service details that stood out. Some of our drinks were served with liquid dripping down the outside of the glasses, & when our wine was being refilled, the bottle actually touched the rim of the glass on a few occasions. These may seem like minor things, but when you're spending $120-150+ per person, you naturally expect a higher level of attention to detail & polished service.

To their credit, they acknowledged the issue with the steaks & offered us a complimentary drink, which we appreciated.

Overall, the terrace was enjoyable & we still had a decent evening, but the consistency of the food & some aspects of the service could be improved to better match the experience & price point you expect from The Keg.

This steakhouse is a good place to try. The staff are very friendly & the atmosphere is nice. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, but overall it's still a great experience🍀

We had gone to the Keg Laval previously & the service was so bad. The hostess & several waiters kept us waiting over an hour for a table. Finally, they sat us at the bar for another 45 minutes to wait. When we saw that they completely forgot about us again we lost patience because we were starving at this point, they acted quick & provided us with a table in the dining area.The main course was good but the calamari was rubbery & all tiny pieces.

We decided to give the Keg Laval another try last weekend. I booked a reservation ahead of time to make sure we get a decent table. Special request was preferably a booth on a Sunday 7:30. When we arrived, they sat us at a triangular positioned little table right outside the kitchen, it was awful, staff were over our heads coming & going. We asked several times if we could change tables & they seemed careless, they dismissed our many requests with sorry, that's what we have left.

The waiter was great, excellent service but the food was less than descent. The filet mignon we ordered medium rare was overcooked & rubbery, the lobster was good. Needless to say this was the last time we'll be going back to the Keg. Our experience was very disappointing.
