I visited Taormina Lounge for the fifth time with friends in the last months, & needed to write a review. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is without exception delicious & beautifully presented. The menu is varied & interesting. I have had salads, fish, pizza & yesterday I had Eggplant Parmesan. It was not on the table d'hôte menu, but the waitress Helena asked & it was available. Yum! All meals were excellent. Service is friendly & professional but not rushed.The location is lakeside. In summer there is a small terrace for al fresco dining.
I hosted a surprise birthday party at this wonderful restaurant during the holidays in 2025 & the entire experience exceeded every expectation. The food was absolutely delicious. Authentic Italian dishes full of flavour, beautifully prepared with generous portions.
What truly made the night unforgettable was the amazing staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, & accommodating. I want to give a special shout?out to Elena & the owner, Paolo, who went above & beyond to make us feel welcome & make our evening extra special. Elena was incredibly kind, friendly, & patient, offering thoughtful recommendations from the table d'hôte menu. She even managed to secure a DJ for us during the busiest time of the year-the Christmas holidays-which made the celebration even more memorable. Elena is truly a superstar & Paolo was equally incredible. The staff's warmth, professionalism, & genuine hospitality made the evening feel effortless.
Whether you're planning an event or simply looking for a great place to dine out, I highly recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is inviting, the food is outstanding, & the staff is incredible. A hidden gem in Montreal & an absolute must?try, offering the perfect setting for any celebration or a night out.

We recently held our wedding reception upstairs at Taormina Lounge, & our guests can't stop raving about the food & service! I've been to weddings where the head table finishes eating long before the last table is served, but that certainly wasn't the case here. Guests had a choice of four entrées selected on the day, & every plate arrived hot, delicious, & exactly as ordered.
We also had several guests with severe food allergies, & thanks to our advance notice, they were accommodated flawlessly-such a relief when dealing with serious allergies. The servers were attentive & amazing throughout the evening.
Another highlight was the in-house DJ, who also offered a photo booth. Both were a huge hit! He made sure the photo booth was easy to use without disrupting the flow of the music. We had given him specific requests for the cocktail hour & dinner, along with a wide mix of genres for dancing, & he handled our eclectic tastes perfectly.
Elena was an absolute delight to work with-warm, personable, & incredibly supportive. She explained everything clearly, guided us through the setup & the event itself, & was even there afterwards to make sure all went smoothly.
We couldn't be happier with our choice. I would highly recommend this beautiful space for any gathering-or even just for dinner. Thank you, Elena, Stéphane, & the entire team, for helping make our day so special!

It's 2 weeks in a row that we go for lunch with my friends & my service dog. I enjoy their beautiful terrace with the views of the park & lake. The food is excellent. There's only 2 problems. The service good but don't expect a smile from the waiter & I think the owner she not to inviting. The first time I advise them that my dog is a service dog & show them the ID. They accepted to let us in. The second time she was not happy too see the dog & wrightaway she said you can't come in with the dog. So I showed her the ID of my service dog. She finally said yes but go seat in back of the terrace. My dog his very well behaved. I put him in a stroller because I don't want to disturb anyone. I do understand very well that some people don't like dog or are scared of them. The reason why he's in a closed stroller. The all attitude made me feel I very uncomfortable. It's to bad. I really like the food thats why I decided to come back with other friends. Plus there's a new law in Québec that permits the restaurant with terrace to accepte dogs to there discretion & they didn'tknow about it. I am sad too say that it will be the last time I will go eat there. So if you have a dogs even a service dog. You will not be welcome there. To avoid the agravation. But specifically the rudeness of the owner.
An absolute gem of a restaurant!
I had the chance to dine here with a friend while considering it as the venue for a future reception, & wow, what an experience. The food is exquisitely delicious, every bite a beautiful explosion of flavor. The ambiance is vibrant yet cozy, & the energy of the place is just spectacular. You feel welcome from the moment you walk in.
The owner is an absolute sweetheart, warm, attentive, & truly passionate about what she does. Everything about the restaurant is beautiful, from the décor to the presentation of the dishes.
Unfortunately, due to personal reasons, I had to cancel the reception I was planning, which truly saddens me because I could already imagine how perfect it would have been here. Still, I'm so grateful I got to experience the place firsthand. I'll definitely be back, this is the kind of spot you want to return to again & again.

Elena's passion & attention to detail ensured that every aspect of our special day was flawless. She, along with her exceptional team, went above & beyond to make our wedding unforgettable. Elena's recommended DJ, Stephane, also played a crucial role in creating the perfect atmosphere with his fantastic music selection, his photobooth offering was the perfect addition & a huge hit for guests young & old alike. We were flooded with compliments, with guests repeatedly raving about the outstanding food, incredible staff, & the beautiful venue. We truly cannot recommend them enough! Thank you, Elena & team! We had an amazing time there. The weather was beautiful & we enjoyed our dinner on the patio. We enjoyed our food so much I forgot to take the before pictures for this review. But that shows how good the food is. Carlos was very professional & provided great customer service. I highly recommend this place especially for a date night.

Food is delicious! Had the veal piccata with the arancini to start & it was out of this world! Everything was fresh, the restaurant is beautiful with such a great location & everyone is so friendly. Truly a great place to go for fresh, homemade tasting food that is consistent. Great job! Will definitely be coming back! Thanks again
Went today for a late dinner for our friends Stephen & Haruna’s wedding! The restaurant has a beautiful view of the water. The staff was caring in every details, & an amazing service! The food was delicious & extremely tasty! I had portobello mushroom stuffed with risotto & spinach with more mushroom in it🤤. My parents had the chicken in a creamy red bell pepper sauce. They clearly do their little bread (could have eat the whole bowl😉🤭) The amaretto sour, well that was a very good amaretto sour🥃!

I had my wedding reception at Taormina Lounge & could not have been more pleased. The staff especially Elena were amazing! We were affraid that it would be a little small as we were 68 people (including kids). However, tables were moved around as soon as the dinner was over to get the guests on the dance floor. The four course meal was exceptional. The Osso Bucco was definitely a croud pleaser. Elena really made the organizational process flawless & she was extremely accomodating. When she says do not worry, trust her because she has lots of experience & she has truely has everything under control. She had enough staff from servers to bartenders. I created a list of cocktails that I wanted to serve & Elena sent it right away to Alexandra (bartender) the day before. Alexandra was by the way was on fire the whole night!!!! This is just one example amongst many others of how accomodating Elena was. At the end of the night her whole staff packaged all of the accessories/decorations & allowed us to come later the next day to pick them up. Another detail we did not have to worry about. Lets not forget the fact that the restaurant is located right accross from the water with a beautiful view & there is a good amount of parking. I would definitely recommend Taormina Lounge for anyone looking for an intimate & stress free wedding. Thank you Elena & the whole staff for making this day memorable.
We enjoyed some pizza & pasta with some wine on the patio on a beautiful day. Our server Elana was extremely friendly & provided wonderful service. The food & wine was absolutely perfect! We highly recommend this restaurant.
