I visited Taormina Lounge for the fifth time with friends in the last months, & needed to write a review. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is without exception delicious & beautifully presented. The menu is varied & interesting. I have had salads, fish, pizza & yesterday I had Eggplant Parmesan. It was not on the table d'hôte menu, but the waitress Helena asked & it was available. Yum! All meals were excellent. Service is friendly & professional but not rushed.The location is lakeside. In summer there is a small terrace for al fresco dining.
Had an amazing wedding reception party at Taormina lounge, team offered exceptional service, food was amazingly fresh & tasty! All guests were happy & full. Thanks also to DJ Stephane for making everyone dance & helping the guests with the cute photobooth. Will be returning for the best food in town!!

We recently held our wedding reception upstairs at Taormina Lounge, & our guests can't stop raving about the food & service! I've been to weddings where the head table finishes eating long before the last table is served, but that certainly wasn't the case here. Guests had a choice of four entrées selected on the day, & every plate arrived hot, delicious, & exactly as ordered.
We also had several guests with severe food allergies, & thanks to our advance notice, they were accommodated flawlessly-such a relief when dealing with serious allergies. The servers were attentive & amazing throughout the evening.
Another highlight was the in-house DJ, who also offered a photo booth. Both were a huge hit! He made sure the photo booth was easy to use without disrupting the flow of the music. We had given him specific requests for the cocktail hour & dinner, along with a wide mix of genres for dancing, & he handled our eclectic tastes perfectly.
Elena was an absolute delight to work with-warm, personable, & incredibly supportive. She explained everything clearly, guided us through the setup & the event itself, & was even there afterwards to make sure all went smoothly.
We couldn't be happier with our choice. I would highly recommend this beautiful space for any gathering-or even just for dinner. Thank you, Elena, Stéphane, & the entire team, for helping make our day so special!

We discovered Taormina Lounge 10 years ago when we were invited to a friends 40th birthday party. We fell in love with their upstairs party room & we chose to have our oldest daughters Sweet 16 there. The decor & food were outstanding & their dance floor set up was a huge hit. This weekend, 6 years later, we hosted our youngest daughters Sweet 16. Once again, the party was a huge success. We had to move it from last week after that huge snow storm. Elena & Paolo were so understanding & we were blessed that they accommodated us with every change that comes with rescheduling a big event. The food was excellent & the service from their staff was amazing. They do a fabulous job & their passion for their business is evident in every aspect of their operation. We highly recommend Taormina Lounge for all your special occasions or just a great spot to enjoy great food. ❤?

Le service est impeccable, attentionné & chaleureux. Un immense merci à Elena, la propriétaire, dont le savoir-faire & la passion pour la gastronomie se ressentent à chaque instant.

The staff were incredibly attentive & friendly from the start, greeting us with a smile & offering us a welcome drink. The service throughout the evening was flawless - drinks were topped up without a hitch, & the team seemed to anticipate every need before we even knew it. The highlight of the night, of course, was the food. Overall our office Christmas party was amazing thanks to Taormina Lounge!

Our immediate family has long been loyal patrons of Taormina Lounge, so when it came time to host our larger family reunion this past June, we knew exactly where to hold it. Elena & her team are truly exceptional - accommodating, professional, & masters of their craft. They crafted a menu that catered perfectly to the tastes & dietary needs of our 60 guests. The food was freshly prepared, elegantly served, & absolutely delicious. Whether dining with two or sixty family members, I enthusiastically recommend Taormina Lounge. & the view of the lake from the restaurant is simply magnificent. Be sure to arrive with a hearty appetite - you won't be disappointed.
The food was straight up AMAZING. I had the gnocchi vesuvio, the dough just melted in my mouth. Best i ever had. I also tried the margherita pizza. I first had a block of cheese. i instantly fell in love with it. i ate 2 more slices. however, i do not recommend the shirley temple drink. there was almost no flavour but the 4 generous cherries given with the drink were good. i highly recommend the two dishes. i also suggest ordering the fried calamari. insanely delicious. a rubbery haven of flavour coated with a crunchy, rich in flavour exterior. for dessert i had a chocolate ice cream. the most delicious, amazing.. delicious, dessert i have EVER had. a must order if you come here. the waiters & waitresses were friendly & the manager was very funny! we even had a little chat with him. Taormina Lounge II: we came back 3 weeks later & they gave us 2 shirley temples on the house!! staff very nice & helpful! I had the all dressed pizza, was amazing. an even better experience than last time!

We had an incredible experience holding our wedding ceremony & reception at Taormina. The upstairs lounge perfectly accommodated 50 guests. The meal service was impeccable in terms of timing, & the food was great. The staff followed the exact itinerary we wanted for the evening & tended to our needs. The bar/dance area was absolutely perfect & the photobooth/DJ option was a nice touch. Overall, everything went smoothly & I would definitely hold an event there in the future. The price point for the entire event was also excellent.
I had my wedding reception at Taormina Lounge & could not have been more pleased. The staff especially Elena were amazing! We were affraid that it would be a little small as we were 68 people (including kids). However, tables were moved around as soon as the dinner was over to get the guests on the dance floor. The four course meal was exceptional. The Osso Bucco was definitely a croud pleaser. Elena really made the organizational process flawless & she was extremely accomodating. When she says do not worry, trust her because she has lots of experience & she has truely has everything under control. She had enough staff from servers to bartenders. I created a list of cocktails that I wanted to serve & Elena sent it right away to Alexandra (bartender) the day before. Alexandra was by the way was on fire the whole night!!!! This is just one example amongst many others of how accomodating Elena was. At the end of the night her whole staff packaged all of the accessories/decorations & allowed us to come later the next day to pick them up. Another detail we did not have to worry about. Lets not forget the fact that the restaurant is located right accross from the water with a beautiful view & there is a good amount of parking. I would definitely recommend Taormina Lounge for anyone looking for an intimate & stress free wedding. Thank you Elena & the whole staff for making this day memorable.
My husband & I dine at Taormina fairly regularly & always enjoy our experience there. The staff is efficient & friendly, the owner is helpful & kind, & the food is great. We also recently attended a private event in their upstairs lounge & we were impressed! The service was top-notch all around & the space is great for a private event (be sure to ask about hiring their DJ!). Special shout out to Pedro & Noe who always go out of their way to make us feel welcome.

I had the best food , paolo really knows how to cook & Elena & her staff give the very best service in Montreal , no where like Taormina lounge , thank you so much for a wonderful evening , I will be sure to tell all my friends!!!
Pros: service was friendly & attentive, decor is urban chic. Upstairs can be reserved for private parties, even a DJ & dancing. The upstairs has a bar, & a lounge/living room separated by a wall with a two-sided fireplace (electric if I recall correctly). The view is terrific.
Cons: the food - somewhat salty, & pricey for what you get.
Would I go back again? If it was more affordable, I would think about it, but I could think about a lot of other places I would rather go to at that price.
