Chef Paolo's exceptional Italian cuisine delighted all our guests, & the service throughout the evening was both attentive & friendly. It was obvious that everyone took pride in making the night special, & thanks to all of your efforts, we enjoyed an unforgettable experience with our guests.

I visited Taormina Lounge for the fifth time with friends in the last months, & needed to write a review. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is without exception delicious & beautifully presented. The menu is varied & interesting. I have had salads, fish, pizza & yesterday I had Eggplant Parmesan. It was not on the table d'hôte menu, but the waitress Helena asked & it was available. Yum! All meals were excellent. Service is friendly & professional but not rushed.The location is lakeside. In summer there is a small terrace for al fresco dining.

I hosted a surprise birthday party at this wonderful restaurant during the holidays in 2025 & the entire experience exceeded every expectation. The food was absolutely delicious. Authentic Italian dishes full of flavour, beautifully prepared with generous portions.
What truly made the night unforgettable was the amazing staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, attentive, & accommodating. I want to give a special shout?out to Elena & the owner, Paolo, who went above & beyond to make us feel welcome & make our evening extra special. Elena was incredibly kind, friendly, & patient, offering thoughtful recommendations from the table d'hôte menu. She even managed to secure a DJ for us during the busiest time of the year-the Christmas holidays-which made the celebration even more memorable. Elena is truly a superstar & Paolo was equally incredible. The staff's warmth, professionalism, & genuine hospitality made the evening feel effortless.
Whether you're planning an event or simply looking for a great place to dine out, I highly recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is inviting, the food is outstanding, & the staff is incredible. A hidden gem in Montreal & an absolute must?try, offering the perfect setting for any celebration or a night out.
I was very impressed with this pretty spot right across from the water. The service was excellent & the food felt very high end & authentic. Also appreciated was the ample & easily accesible parking lot behind the restaurant. Highlights included the cheese Arancini - with the accompanying sauce a delicious stand-out. For main course the Tortellini Gigi with meat sauce was fantastic. I have high standards when it comes to food having enjoyed many meals at the finest restaurants in North America & Europe. Great location for romantic dates. Highly recommend this spot for food view & service you will not be dissapointed. 5 stars!
We recently held our wedding reception upstairs at Taormina Lounge, & our guests can't stop raving about the food & service! I've been to weddings where the head table finishes eating long before the last table is served, but that certainly wasn't the case here. Guests had a choice of four entrées selected on the day, & every plate arrived hot, delicious, & exactly as ordered.
We also had several guests with severe food allergies, & thanks to our advance notice, they were accommodated flawlessly-such a relief when dealing with serious allergies. The servers were attentive & amazing throughout the evening.
Another highlight was the in-house DJ, who also offered a photo booth. Both were a huge hit! He made sure the photo booth was easy to use without disrupting the flow of the music. We had given him specific requests for the cocktail hour & dinner, along with a wide mix of genres for dancing, & he handled our eclectic tastes perfectly.
Elena was an absolute delight to work with-warm, personable, & incredibly supportive. She explained everything clearly, guided us through the setup & the event itself, & was even there afterwards to make sure all went smoothly.
We couldn't be happier with our choice. I would highly recommend this beautiful space for any gathering-or even just for dinner. Thank you, Elena, Stéphane, & the entire team, for helping make our day so special!

I'm from Quebec but often travel to Montréal for real estate business. My clients recommended this place to me, & I'm so glad they did. I was welcomed warmly, the service was quick & efficient, & the staff were all super friendly. The owner even came by at the end of my meal to make sure everything was perfect. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious Italian food!

An absolute gem of a restaurant!
I had the chance to dine here with a friend while considering it as the venue for a future reception, & wow, what an experience. The food is exquisitely delicious, every bite a beautiful explosion of flavor. The ambiance is vibrant yet cozy, & the energy of the place is just spectacular. You feel welcome from the moment you walk in.
The owner is an absolute sweetheart, warm, attentive, & truly passionate about what she does. Everything about the restaurant is beautiful, from the décor to the presentation of the dishes.
Unfortunately, due to personal reasons, I had to cancel the reception I was planning, which truly saddens me because I could already imagine how perfect it would have been here. Still, I'm so grateful I got to experience the place firsthand. I'll definitely be back, this is the kind of spot you want to return to again & again.
We discovered Taormina Lounge 10 years ago when we were invited to a friends 40th birthday party. We fell in love with their upstairs party room & we chose to have our oldest daughters Sweet 16 there. The decor & food were outstanding & their dance floor set up was a huge hit. This weekend, 6 years later, we hosted our youngest daughters Sweet 16. Once again, the party was a huge success. We had to move it from last week after that huge snow storm. Elena & Paolo were so understanding & we were blessed that they accommodated us with every change that comes with rescheduling a big event. The food was excellent & the service from their staff was amazing. They do a fabulous job & their passion for their business is evident in every aspect of their operation. We highly recommend Taormina Lounge for all your special occasions or just a great spot to enjoy great food. ❤?

Celebrated my husband's 50th here in the private hall upstairs. I was a nervous wreck wanting everything to be perfect, but thanks to the cool, calm & collected staff, our night was a success. All of our guests raved about the food & service. Could not have asked for better evening. Highly recommend
We had an amazing time there. The weather was beautiful & we enjoyed our dinner on the patio. We enjoyed our food so much I forgot to take the before pictures for this review. But that shows how good the food is. Carlos was very professional & provided great customer service. I highly recommend this place especially for a date night.
Excellent restaurant...food quality & service beyond reproach. Our party of 10 enjoyed another birthday celebration here. All were impressed with the food & friendly personalized service. I highly recommend for from a dinner for two to big celebrations...they're experts in accommodating large groups.
The food was straight up AMAZING. I had the gnocchi vesuvio, the dough just melted in my mouth. Best i ever had. I also tried the margherita pizza. I first had a block of cheese. i instantly fell in love with it. i ate 2 more slices. however, i do not recommend the shirley temple drink. there was almost no flavour but the 4 generous cherries given with the drink were good. i highly recommend the two dishes. i also suggest ordering the fried calamari. insanely delicious. a rubbery haven of flavour coated with a crunchy, rich in flavour exterior. for dessert i had a chocolate ice cream. the most delicious, amazing.. delicious, dessert i have EVER had. a must order if you come here. the waiters & waitresses were friendly & the manager was very funny! we even had a little chat with him. Taormina Lounge II: we came back 3 weeks later & they gave us 2 shirley temples on the house!! staff very nice & helpful! I had the all dressed pizza, was amazing. an even better experience than last time!

We enjoyed some pizza & pasta with some wine on the patio on a beautiful day. Our server Elana was extremely friendly & provided wonderful service. The food & wine was absolutely perfect! We highly recommend this restaurant.
