With 10 years of experience, chef Christian Manuel Ventura Alatorre opened Sushi Momo in December 2014, and has been getting much praise from day one. sushis, ça finit par être un peu du n'importe quoi. On a adoré les entrées par contre mais franchement on ne reviendra pas. Très bon service par le dynamique & proactif Lou. Un resto avec une belle ambiance calme & un décor magnifique. Pour le reste on préfère les sushis de poisson & fruits de mer 🍣 alors on ira dans un sushis bar.
Endroit de rêve! Tout est tellement délicieux & bien présenté. Le service est toujours impeccable.
Le vin est fabuleux.

& no exaggeration nothing was good there was a lot of weird flavours.
Very disappointed because my fiancée just give birth & she asked for shushi so I thought I'd give it a try because it looked good on uber but complete opposite.

Franchement, je suis vraiment déçu. J'ai rarement été autant déçu…. J'ai commandé le menu'15 de nos sushis favoris' sur ubereats en pensant recevoir un assortiment classique. Rien dans la description ne met clairement en avant que ce sont uniquement des sushis vegan. Je mets la photo de la description sur ubereats. À la place, j'ai reçu des sushis aux champignons, aux patates douces, aux aubergines & graines de céréales. Pas une seule pièce avec du poisson. Je me suis senti complètement piégé. & pour couronner le tout, aucun remboursement alors que clairement c'est un attrape-client. Je comprends que c'est un restaurant vegan, mais pour quelqu'un qui commande sur ubereats, il faudrait vraiment être plus clair & transparent dans les descriptions. Très mauvaise expérience.

Sushi Momo by Christian Ventura was such an amazing experience! We went without a reservation, but the staff was incredibly accommodating after we mentioned we were visiting from Ottawa. That hospitality really set the tone for the evening.
It was actually our first time trying sushi ever, & we were blown away by how flavourful everything was. The food was creative, fresh, & absolutely delicious. We tried the miso soup, SOS sushi, Japanese arancini, & the Green Machine roll - every single dish was packed with flavor & beautifully presented.
Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu & took the time to explain the dishes, which made the experience even better for first-timers like us.
Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. Definitely worth visiting, especially for vegan & vegetarian lovers. We will absolutely be coming back next time we're in Montreal!
Le meilleur restaurant vegane à Montréal ! Les saveurs sont incroyable, le staff était super gentil & accommodant. Nous étions un groupe de 10 & avons adoré le menu de groupe à 55$ par personne, très généreux & savoureux ! Je vais certainement y retourner !
Food is very good. Most people would have difficulty noticing the salmon isn't real fish if they weren't told. Prices are reasonable. Sauces are all very good (a bit on the sweeter side). Server was attentive & explained the dishes very well. Only downside is some dishes took a while to come out. Would definitely come back.
This restaurant serves bliss! As a vegan who can't eat gluten, I often have a choice of two things on the menu. Here, I can eat about 65% of the dishes. & they're exquisite. It feels like an act of love to be served such creative, delicious, thoughtful food. I'm not used to being treated like this. It's truly special. Thank you, Momo.

Amazing vegan sushi, best one I ever had. Highly recommend the maki tempura roll, I'm still dreaming of it 🤤. Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time. We stayed two nights in Montreal & went there every evening (unfortunately only for take away, as they were fully booked). We will definitely come back the next time we're in Montreal 🥢
