We had all you can eat dinner at sushi Hin. We had an amazing experience. Sushi was made with fresh ingredients, lots of variety & options. Wok shrimps were exceptional. Service was excellent. It was my daughter's birthday they brought her green tea cheese cake, it was delicious. Highly recommended.
I wish I could give less than a star..
I never had sushi before & I wanted to try it. It was so good & would love to have it again but I think I will never go to this restaurant or any other Asian owned restaurant ever again.
The waiter were so shocked to see a black hijabi women who wants to eat alone.
They literally did not know what to do with me. They kept staring at me for few seconds like I was at a place I was supposed not to be in.
I was thinking'I'm hungry & I want to eat' but they looked so confused looking at me like I was something out of this world!! I felt disgusting & wished to disappear!!
I am a truck driver & work few minutes away from this restaurant. I wanted to eat something different that day & thought let me try sushi.
I will never in my LIFE try or go anywhere close to these restaurants. I see now why at my age I was always hesitant about going to restaurants. What a disappointment.
Your a restaurant your supposed to feed your customers.. please welcome everyone. We are paying the food from you not sealing it. If you have standers.. then have a sign at the door. Maybe something like…
'We don't serve, single black Muslim person'
If not you should see all your customers the same.
Disgusting behaviour from the staff!!!
Excellent all you can eat sushi 🍣 place. Everything was fresh & very good. We will go back. We got in @ 16:30 on a Friday, the place was almost full at 18:00
I never felt sick like that after going to a all you can eat sushi , plus the girl was kinda rude rooling her eyes & for this prices i wish they had more choices.
This used to be my favorite restaurant for all-you-can-eat sushi. Unfortunately, on my last two visits, the quality has declined. I went back Saturday night. I have to say that, for the second time in a row, the sushi was disappointing. The maki were poorly rolled & kept falling apart. They use way too much rice. You can tell sushi is pre-rolled when the tempura isn't crisp anymore. To be sure, I ordered a handroll, which can't be made in advance. My handroll was fresh. The nori seaweed was crispy, & so was the tempura, but there was really too much rice. One of the reasons I always go back to this restaurant is for the kitchen dishes. Yesterday, I was disappointed with the quality of the food. The service is very fast, admittedly, but I prefer to wait a bit & be served hot. Some of our fried dishes were cold, like the fried scallops, takoyaki, & tempura. My favorite dish at Hin is the lamb skewers. Yesterday, they used too much seasoning, & the second portion I ordered underneath was burnt. I usually come on weekends. I find it's better during the week, perhaps because they're less busy & take the time to prepare orders properly. Overall, the service is always good. The servers always make sure our water glasses are refilled & consistently clear our plates. Hopefully they will improve the quality of the food back.
Absolutely amazing experience at Sushi Hin. The quality of the fish was top-tier-fresh, well-cut, & full of flavor. The all-you-can-eat menu has great variety & everything came out fast & consistent, even when the place was busy.
Service was attentive & professional, & the staff made sure we were always taken care of. The tuna tataki & sashimi were standout items, easily some of the best I've had. For the price, you really get your money's worth.
Amazing AYCE sushi. Their sashimi portions are great, their tataki are amazing. & we always get their hand rolls too! Nigiris have too much rice though so need to eat them with extra sashimi to balance the ratio
I went in excited to try this new restaurant & ordered three dishes plus a wonton soup from the all-you-can-eat menu. When the food arrived, I was honestly surprised by how large the portions were. There is **nothing on the menu indicating that the portions are meant for two people**, so I called the waiter to ask if smaller portions could be made upon request. I explained that it was a lot of food & I might not be able to finish everything. His response was simply, *'Try your best.'*
I ordered the pad thai, salt & pepper chicken, & orange beef. After eating about half of the food, I started feeling nauseous. I then informed the waiter that I am **pregnant** & could no longer eat. Since the meal was **$29** & I was not planning on ordering more food, I asked if I could take the remaining food home so it wouldn't go to waste. He told me it would cost an additional **$6**.
I explained again that I understood their policy, but given my situation, I couldn't continue eating & didn't want to waste food. He then told me that whether I left leftovers or took them to go, I would still be charged extra. Feeling pressured, I forced myself to finish all the meat & left about 25% of the noodles.
When the waiter returned, I expressed my dissatisfaction & acknowledged that I was aware of their policy, but felt this should have been treated as an exception. I was very direct & told him I would not be tipping due to the service, & that it was the worst service I've experienced.
Before leaving, I spoke to the lady at the counter & explained the entire situation. Her response was simply, *'We have a policy,'* with no empathy or willingness to understand the circumstances.
Honestly, this was **the worst dining experience I've had**. I'm giving **2 stars only because the food itself was good**, but customer service & basic compassion were completely lacking. Management really needs to learn how to accommodate & empathize with their customers-especially in situations like this.
Great quality of sushi & kitchen appetizers. My favorite all you can eat 😋
Excellent .Food was really good .Large portions, service excellent.Great all you can eat sushi
I don't normally leave reviews but what a terrible experience we had. Everything was either bland or tasted like oil & felt gross afterwards. I'm not too picky with sushi but it was the worst sushi I've had at an all you can eat restaurant. Even if you let the manager know about your experience, it doesn't do much good as you get a minor discount & can't change it as'he already made the bill.' I honestly don't understand how people are giving 5 star reviews as they must have been paid off or be family/friends.
Sushi is bland & all tastes the same. Quality extremely cheap & it is falling apart half the time. The wok dishes are one worst then the other. The ribs was all fat as you can see in pictures. Lamb was chewy, udon noodles flavourless as you can see, pad Thai overkill on fish sauce. The general tao, sesame beef & orange no sauce just tastes like the oil from the sauce. My husband can eat for 3 people & he didn't eat at all. I barely ate. I spoke to the manager & he laughed & instead of not charging us full price he was so'generous' to offer a 15% discount. Avoid this place & do yourself a favor & go to Matsuno instead. I only came here because Matsuno was closed what a regret.
Not impressed at all. Hadn't been there since its previous name sushi st Jean & didn't love it then but decided to try again. Food was not fresh, rice was chewy, nothing impressive in the flavour, & the shrimp tempura was not even crispy. Service was lacking, we waited a while to get our water filled & more napkins. No one really checked in to see how our meal was or if we needed anything. We were also sat by the door on a very cold day when there were clearly other seats available, so we were cold the whole time.
The 3 other all you can eat places in the West Island are all MUCH better.
Delicious food, amazing sushi everything is extremely fresh the quality of the fish is insane. The food comes hot & they prepare everything on the spot not like other restaurants that have sushi rolls prepared in advanced. Service is amazing my new favourite app you can eat over all the other multiple ones i have been too.
Probably the worst sushi I've ever had but I guess for an all you could eat it's fine..
The food was excellent! This is definitely one of the best all you can eat sushi places I've been to! The service was amazing too! The servers were kind & polite & quick! I would recommend going here!
Our usual place was closed, so we tried this sushi place. Its a good all you can eat. Fresh sushi, delicious sashimi. Will def keep this one in mind when in the area
Its an All you can eat Sushi place, the sushis are quite good. They have a lot of variety on offer. Loved some of them & the others were pretty average but good enough for an All you can eat place.
Service is pretty quick, the restaurant is well decked up too. There's plenty of parking available & free cost too.
The place could be pricey if you don't have a big appetite.
