ça fait 15 ans je suis a Montréal & j'pense je vais au Sumo Ramen depuis toujours!! J'y suis aller aujourd'hui après une longue absence... Toujours aussi bon & services super efficace!!! Excellent ramen, les nouilles sont trop bonnes & les portions très généreuses! Bonne chance pour choisir une entrée, tout est délicieux c'est difficile de choisir :)

Sumo Ramen has been around for 15 years & It took a lot of time & effort to build this brand. I do not understand people who judge the food & their experience because of little details. If you ever have constructive comments, I am sure the staff & the manager will be happy to hear & adapt. Why ruin their reputation on google like this. Your taste is personal. If you didn't it, you just don't go next time, that's is. It's a LOCAL private family owned restaurant & not a franchise. A lot of recipes are made WITHOUT MSG. I mean...if you like food with plenty of unhealthy ingredients, go for it! Maybe this restaurant is not for you, it's fine. I would say haters gotta hate. I personally love this restaurant for the food , the staff & their values. They want to provide their customers with homemade food while dining out. I have been dining there since they have opened. I'm a big fan of this restaurant. I know the entrance could be confusing because it leads to the 2nd floor. Again Why do you rate 3 stars because the restaurant is located in the second floor? If the rent would have been cheaper, don't you think they wouldn't want a local on the ground floor? Anyhow, I will forever support this restaurant. Thank you for the good food & the friendly staff. Les ramens étaient super bons! Bon éventail de choix de ramens végétariens avec bouillon végé aussi! Le service était très courtois & assez rapide malgré la quantité de monde dans le resto. Tables un peu proches, mais ça fait partie de l'ambiance. Je recommande pour un bon ramen dans le quartier chinois.
Ramen tastes absolutely delicious. The volcano ramen & Sumo ramen are highly recommended. Soup is bold & faty. I wish the ramen noodle would be thicker. Good customer service. The location is on 2nd floor of building, quite hidden from the street. If the cashier counter would decorate better it will be impressed. Overall, nice to try once
Lots of ramen choices. The miso veggie ramen was had too much salt & didn't have many other flavors. Maybe the meat options are better. Service was great & this is a nice little place to go with friends.
I was at sumo ramen back in 2009 when they first opened. Back then it was a small menu which focused on their ramen. Over time I have been back to the restaurant & seen them grow. & in all this time I have never been disappointed with the meal. Again had an amazing meal & time at the restaurant on new years eve wish the staff many more years of success & flavo

Our server & food was absolutely amazing. By far the best ramen i've ever had. The atmosphere was warm & cozy which was perfect for a cold snowy day. Our server was so kind & helped me pick what I wanted & answered all my questions. Couldn't have picked a better spot for anniversary dinner. Will absolutely be coming back when we visit montreal
Délicieux ! On a pris des Edamame en entrée (servi chaud & pas trop salé), moi j'ai pris Sumo Ramen, mon conjoint Kimchi ramen extra nouilles, 2 bières & dessert crème glacée maison frite. Tout était super bon & personnel super rapide & convivial.
Un bon restaurant de ramen, le serveur était très accueillant & savait très bien nous conseiller le menu. Les sumos ramens étaient délicieux tout comme l'entrée de poulet karaage, de takoyakis & de gyoza. Bref un bon resto pas cher avec une bonne diversité de plats & entrées à partagées.😋
Très bon restaurant de ramens à Montréal. Beaucoup de choix, autant pour les ramens que les accompagnements & les entrées disponibles. Plusieurs choix de bouillons, nouilles & choses à ajouter dans la soupe. Tout était très bon & le service très accueillant. Première fois pour notre groupe & tout le monde a apprécié!
