Food was just ok & portions were very small. 2 out of 3 pastas were extremely salty. Only thing we all really enjoyed was the tiramisu. On the other hand service was great but will not be returning theres better restaurantsVoir plus

L'ambiance est assez chaleureuse & animée parfaite pour un 5 à 7 un jeudi soir. Notre serveuse avait une belle attitude au départ par contre une fois que le restaurant commençait à se remplir elle est devenue quelque peu froide. J'aimerai souligner le fait que le menu en italien peu porter à confusion surtout au niveau des viandes. I only have good things to say about this place. It can often be a hit or miss with new Italian restaurants opening in the city since the MTL market is super saturated with them. We had a prior reservation at Dinette Marcella, which failed due to a reservation error on their end. We were able to secure a table at the Chef's bar at Stellina rapidly & without fuss. We were well greeted, & the service was super professional. The ambiance was lively, & our food was well-prepared & delicious. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for high-quality pasta in a more upscale environment. Perfect for dates, groups or even solo dining. Keep up the great work, guys.Voir plus

Best tiramisu ever!! & the seafood melon carpaccio thing was delicious! The music was too loud. Even though we had reservations & came on time we still had to wait 20min at the door.Voir plus

We absolutely loved it here. We got the taster menu with wine pairings which was awesome as we didn't need to think about which wine to get with what. Awesome way to try a lot of things, & the presentation was top notch too.
With that said, it ended up being a bit pricier than similar restaurants/experiences I've been to. Still, adding it to my favorite list!Voir plus

The dinner was good but not brilliant. My chocolate torta (tart not cake) must have been plated & then refrigerated: it & the caramel sauce were cold. Our two pasta dishes were good but, at $35-36 each, rather pricey. There are better Italian restaurants in Montreal.Voir plus

The food was good, & our waiters were all very sweet. However, the overall experience felt extremely rushed & ultimately disappointing, especially given the price point.
From the moment we sat down, we were hurried. We were asked what we wanted to order less than two minutes in, & even after politely saying we needed more time, we were asked again several times.
While attentive service is great, this went way overboard. Our water was refilled after nearly every sip, we had 5 waiters interchangeably consistently coming over to our table & we were asked if we were done eating while my fork was still in hand & my plate wasn't done...We were even handed the dessert card without 30 seconds to look at it before being asked to order something… It felt like they were more concerned with turning the table than letting us enjoy our meal.
As soon as we paid, the owner came over & asked us to leave because another party was waiting…Our entire dinner lasted less than 1.5 hours. At this price point, that's just not acceptable.
It's the kind of place where if you're not dropping a ton of money, they don't really want your business. So if that's your vibe-it might be for you & you might get better service. Otherwise, you'll likely leave feeling rushed & unwelcome.Voir plus

I was a bit disappointed with the food the plates & presentation were pretty but didnt blow me away. I thought they lacked in flavour & wow factor & the pasta was s little dry. The service was excellent our server was very friendly, good social skills & knew his menu very well. He made the experience nice but unfortunately i will not be going back since the food wasn't impressive.Voir plus

We were recommended to Stellina From our hotel, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to our expectations. It looked OK inside, but the food was all right. We ordered two appetizers & two pastas, & the appetizers were better than the pastas. Unfortunately we waited like 50 minutes for the pastas, & then when they came, the Parmesan cheese was just slapped on one side of the pasta, & it was also very bland that I had to ask for some salt. The agnolotti was supposed to have some bone marrow? But I think it was like a tiniest piece of it. Overall, I had very high expectation of this restaurant because it was recommended to us from our hotel, & yeah. For their price, we Expected a little more. Womp womp. déjà à l'entrée, on n'a pas été bien accueillis, par la suite l'ambiance n'était pas top, l'emplacement de la table n'était pas le meilleur non plus, pour le prix de la nourriture on s'attendait à quelque chose de beaucoup mieux, la salade ne goûtait rien, les pâtes étaient dures & la sauce laisse à désirer, le steak était la seule chose qui n'était pas décevante avec le tiramisu, de plus'le gérant' est passé à plusieurs reprises discuter avec la table à côté de nous, ne nous a pas regardé une seule fois, mais une fois qu'il a vu le steak sur notre table, il nous a regardé d'un air surpris & c'est là, qu'il nous a prêté attention, c'était étrange comme interaction, pour conclure ce n'était pas du tout à ce qu'on s'attendait & on ne reviendrai pas une deuxième fois…Voir plus

Stellina is one of my favourite restaurants in Montreal & my go-to for Italian cuisine. I usually go during lunches but one Saturday night, i took my boyfriend for dinner. As always, food was great, atmosphere & service from the kitchen, host, & commis waiter. Our server however, made our night slightly uncomfortable.
To put it politely, she was not exactly friendly & was quite cold & condescending towards us. No worries, figured it was probably just a busy night. So we ordered each our appetizers, mains, dessert, & drinks.
After spending a few hundred dollars & giving extra tip (because like i said, food & service from everyone else was great), you'd think you'd at least hear a thank you or have a good night. Nope. as soon as my card went through, she printed the receipt, turned around, & walked away.
Would it stop me from going back to this restaurant? Maybe not. But i would 100% refuse to be served by this specific waitress seeing as the table next to us received a different treatment. I still wonder why.Voir plus

Excellent service par le personnel du Stellina, on ne se sent pas dans un resto typique de touriste au vieux port. Le menu est simple & petit, mais les plats sont délicieux, facile de partager pour goûter à plus. Les prix sont par contre extrêmement élevés pour des plats de pâtes.Voir plus
