St-Viateur Bagel is a cozy spot with friendly, kind employees who create a welcoming atmosphere. The bagels are fresh, flavorful, & perfectly baked-truly some of the best I've had. A great place to enjoy a delicious bagel, genuine service.
A staple in MTL. Will always end my trip to MTL with St-viateur bagels
Beaucoup d'attente & un peu surcôté en dehors du classique bagel au saumon…
Amazing customer service by staff member Benjamin! Best bagels in Montreal.
Is good but what can I say!.....I live in NY & there's no better bagel than a NY bagel!
Delicious, & they were super chill too. They don't take US debit or credit cards, though. Just fyi
Really tasty bagel place, had ~20 minute queue when we arrived. It is cash only (shown on their menus), so make sure to have some cash on you. Staff were friendly & service was pretty quick. Bagels are a bit denser & smaller than an NYC bagel, & you can order them with cream cheese or as a sandwich. Definitely popular but would recommend a visit! Might try the other original location next time as this one seemed like it was popula
The place was very crowded, & we had to wait in line. We ordered two bagels: the WOW! & the Club Bagel with pesto sauce. They were good, but honestly, considering all the hype, they were pretty average. I wouldn't highly recommend it as a go-to bagel spot.
Must try their wow! Bagel sandwich & blueberry bagel with apple cinnamon cream cheese. They are really delicious
Well ..it's one of the touristy things to do in Montreal I guess.. nothing fancy.. it's a cash only or Canadian debit card place.. it was not my most favourite bagel but.. like I said something to do as a tourist.. the line for the dine-in was super long.. we went just for the bagles(take out) & that line moved pretty fast.. I think we waited for like 5 mins.. Montreal bagel is smaller & denser than the other bagels I've tried or made.. so this is something you can do just for the experience
i understand why people like Montreal bagels, but i feel like they're not necessarily WORTH the hype. i like my bagels fluffy, i realized, & the bagels are quite hard for my liking ... NONETHELESS, they were still good! we got the traditional bagels (i got the rosemary & sea salt, idk what my bf got tbh) & they were a pretty good price. $13 for each is a pretty good price considering how they could easily just rack up the price. the bagels are affordable (imo) & pretty good regardless of my bagel preference. i would definitely make it a habit to go again if i lived here. the service was also phenomenal & the staff was very kind.
It was a really fantastic place. They have very delicious bagel & the stuff is friendly.
