I love this place. My partner & I ordered chicken gyros (mine with salad). The chicken gyros are made with grilled chicken breast, fresh & hot, lightly seasoned, just the right amount of dressing, & light on the salt, which I appreciate. The salad was made with fresh romaine lettuce.
The portions are generous, & it's a good place to have a casual meal on the terrasse with friends, since the menu items are easy to share & the prices are fair. They now serve spanakopita, which I hope to try next time. I see that there are stools & a counter for dining indoors now, since the renovations were finished. Even though it was busy, the service was quick & friendly.
I know that the last few years have been tough for the restaurant business, so cheers to them for keeping it going, & let's all support local, family-run places the next time we dine out.

The service, I have never met such dedicated, genuine person, to take our order. He told us his Family owns the business. It is easy to see why this is a great place. The food , the people working there, everything is tasty, well prepared & served.

Best Greek food in town. I recommend this restaurant hands down to anyone. Got to experience this amazing family owned place following my sister's recommendation & I've since been a regular weekly customer.

I have been going to George Souvlaki for many years & ordering out. It's our favorite place to eat authentic Greek food & to be greeted by the always smiling Adrian. I am giving 5 stars to food, service & the atmosphere created by Adrian & his family. Prices are good, portion are generous & the taste is out of this world. my vegetarian daughter would only eat Souvlaki George chicken sandwich. Sam
A lovely family run business that we were able to try after hearing about them from friends. George is the father & works in the kitchen... presumably the reason for the tasty food! Both the food & service were excellent! My grilled chicken salad was super fresh. The only room for improvement was that the patio tables were all greasy from previous diners & could've used a wipe down. But overall, I would come back & try more items.
Delicious, Savory traditional Greek food at this second generation family owned restaurant! Its very modest price is perfect for the community around Loyala Campus! The beef & lamb gyros taste 😘 Took the entree with olives, different types of dips & rice wrapped in Vineleaf. The flavours are mind blowing. The pita, warm & fluffy ☁️🤩 Ill be right back! Here to have the perfect summer food date in their cute terasses ☀️
Lovely little family own Greek restaurant. They have the authenticity & the flavours all the way from Greece. Amazing food, so much variety & the loveliest staff. Will 100% be back. The potatoes are a MUST!!

What a gem of a restaurant in the heart of NDG. Excellent Greek food served with warmth & hospitality. Delicious food that reminds us of the great food we had in Greece. Our family including two little kids LOVE to eat here. Always welcoming & accommodating to everyone's needs. Truly A+ service. Lovely terrace to sit & enjoy your delicious food in the summer & then perhaps a stroll on the beautiful grounds of Loyola campus! Makes for a perfect evening out with family! Thank you Souvlaki George for being our go to homey restaurent spot!
I've been ordering from Souvlaki George my whole life & in my opinion, it's a highly underrated Greek spot. Their gyro pita, chicken, pork are all delicious!!! I'm not even a fan of French fries & I find them the best. Everything is made in house, including the salad dressing which is also so good. It's a family-owned restaurant & they're so sweet. Great service. Big terrasse in the summer to dine in outside. Highly recommend ordering your Greek food from there from now on (they have their own drivers - go through them directly!)
