It was my first time back since the renovation in 2021. We were in a rush, so we called in our order ahead of time to dine in. Adrian was very courteous. We arrived a bit late, so he reheated our food to ensure it was served hot. We had the lamb gyro & the chicken gyro with fries. Everything was delicious, but I preferred the chicken pita over the lamb.
What an amazing place, the food & the service top notch. I had the chicken pita, & the owner gave me two milk rise for free. Thank you 😊. I will definitely come back.

Been coming here for a while & it honestly never disappoints. The chicken is always juicy, perfectly grilled, & the portions are solid. The rice & potatoes are super flavorful & the tzatziki is fresh every time.
Just tried their new Double Plate Deal (2 chicken plates for $30) & it's actually a great value, especially if you're sharing.
You can tell they care about consistency. Definitely one of my go-to Greek spots in Montreal.
On Sunday they were out of rice bowls & some chicken items, so I tried their pitas, it comes with tomatoes & some sour cream, it tastes good if we ask to make it spicy otherwise it's sour!! They too have some options for sweets, will try some other time !!! There's more outdoor sitting than indoors. Clean & hygienic environment. Overall good experience.

I love this place. My partner & I ordered chicken gyros (mine with salad). The chicken gyros are made with grilled chicken breast, fresh & hot, lightly seasoned, just the right amount of dressing, & light on the salt, which I appreciate. The salad was made with fresh romaine lettuce.
The portions are generous, & it's a good place to have a casual meal on the terrasse with friends, since the menu items are easy to share & the prices are fair. They now serve spanakopita, which I hope to try next time. I see that there are stools & a counter for dining indoors now, since the renovations were finished. Even though it was busy, the service was quick & friendly.
I know that the last few years have been tough for the restaurant business, so cheers to them for keeping it going, & let's all support local, family-run places the next time we dine out.

October 11th : What was up with the calamari? It was very basic was not like the calamari from previous orders. Felt like frozen grocery store calamari Everything else was still good though! Especially lamb skewers! 2 weeks ago: Best gyro meat I have had in a very long time for this price point (& I have tried many) Calamari, the chicken & lamb kababs were all cooked to perfection & the taste was nice too! Everything was honestly very delicious.
More of a takeout / sitting outside in the summer place. Since it's a tiny counter inside Although Pretty much the whole plate was good Crispy salad. Nice potatoes Chicken , lamp , better than your average Greek joint. Tiny tadziki was not extra. Guy at the counter was a peach Lovely place
I have been going to George Souvlaki for many years & ordering out. It's our favorite place to eat authentic Greek food & to be greeted by the always smiling Adrian. I am giving 5 stars to food, service & the atmosphere created by Adrian & his family. Prices are good, portion are generous & the taste is out of this world. my vegetarian daughter would only eat Souvlaki George chicken sandwich. Sam

A lovely family run business that we were able to try after hearing about them from friends. George is the father & works in the kitchen... presumably the reason for the tasty food! Both the food & service were excellent! My grilled chicken salad was super fresh. The only room for improvement was that the patio tables were all greasy from previous diners & could've used a wipe down. But overall, I would come back & try more items.
I've been wanting to try this restaurant for almost two years, & now that I'm back in town, I finally made it happen! I went straight there & was not disappointed. I ordered the chicken sandwich & the soup of the day, which Adrian recommended-everything was fresh, flavorful, & perfectly on point. The service was great too,everyone was lovely & attentive. I used to have a favorite spot in Turkey, but I think I've found my new go-to in Montreal!
The young gentleman on the cash is very welcoming, friendly & helpful .The food is very tasty, fresh & a good portion of the quantity. I like all their food but my favorite is the chicken pita wraps. Once you eat their food you'll be going back again & again. Stay blessed & happy. Highly recommended
I've been ordering from Souvlaki George my whole life & in my opinion, it's a highly underrated Greek spot. Their gyro pita, chicken, pork are all delicious!!! I'm not even a fan of French fries & I find them the best. Everything is made in house, including the salad dressing which is also so good. It's a family-owned restaurant & they're so sweet. Great service. Big terrasse in the summer to dine in outside. Highly recommend ordering your Greek food from there from now on (they have their own drivers - go through them directly!)

I haven't been this place in years. Guy taking orders is great, But it seems things are more of the same. 17.95 for a single chicken pita trio (not including tip) Waited about 35 minutes for the meal. Pita definitely got way smaller. 4 small pieces of chicken, no tomato, hardly any lettuce & just alot of sauce. Sadly won't be going back.
THE BEST I have had yet, destroys so many other places out there. Service was so genuine & amazing, the chicken was so fresh & tasty, really, everything we had was top notch! HIGHLY recommended.
I had other greek food from around NDG but George is the best ! Everything is tender ! This was my first , lamb , chicken , pork pita ! They were all great but I fell in love for these potatoes ( greek potatoes ) oh man oh man ! The sourness mix with those spices great ! Delivery was fast
ABSOLUTELY 5 Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the way! We made notes of an allergy alert, Adrian from the restaurant called & wanted to confirm the allergy so there were no issues. The food was a solid 5 stars, big portions, FANTASTIC authentic Greek flavoring & nice tender, melt in your mouth chicken & Gyro. . Ordered the Chicken & Gyro combo plate .. with extra Pita bread. Pita bread is obviously homemade. Highly recommend this restaurant . . . BEST GREEK FOOD WEVE EVER HAD IN MONTREAL
