The service was lowkey really slow… took them a while to pick up the food & take it away as well as replacing the water… Anatol would've never let this happen!!!!!!!! He literally was so fast & was so kind & gave us the best service out there!!! He payed so much attention to details 🥀🥀🥀
Receptionist is very rude, but the rest of the staff is super nice & polite great atmosphere & great food. Awesome prices loved the experience overall!!!
Amazing prices especially compared to other restaurants nearby. (Mine came up to $12 & it was a good amount of food) Lovely atmosphere. Plenty of options to choose from, & lots of free sauce options. Complimentary ice cream at the end too. The service was incredible. Our server was very kind & brought us an extra free ice cream for my Mom who wasn't having one. Ended up going while visiting Montréal for a few days, totally impromptu, but it showed up on tiktok & my family & I were a 3 minute walk away. 30 minute wait time but it passed fast. Totally recommend. Service en français & anglais. C'est incroyable!
Déja 2 visites, il s'agit d'un de mes coups de coeur. L'ambiance est superbe avec un staff attentionné & des choix d'ingrédients de condiments très variés, sans parler des options de viandes halal. Leur bouillon classique est très savoureux. Le dessert est aussi inclu, une très bonne crème glacée pour se rafraichir. Je recommende à 100%!!!!
We got a table in the corner, where the ventilation didn't work well. The weather was hot. It was a bit unbearable sitting in the corner while eating hot food like this.
I got a bit too much - about 30 $ food. Managed to finish but was quite full in the end. I chose the signature soup, hot level spicy. It wasn't spicy at all for me - but I can eat very spicy food. Various veggies, meat, etc. options to select. They looked fresh as well.

It was a very good experience, even though we had to wait a long time to enter the restaurant. As soon as we got in, we were welcomed with smiles from everyone. Despite it being very late-around 11:45 PM-everyone served us great.

Food was okayish. Environment was good. The experience was good. You have to fill up your bowl by yourself within the available items. After that they will weight & tell you the price. Not every item is super tasty.

The food was alright , the signature soup wasin't as special because it was plain. The portion of soup was a lot & way too hot, you have to wait a good 10 minutes for the temperature to be good enough to eat. On the bright side, the atmosphere is calm & it has good vibes. They had plenty of choices of toppings. The service was excellent with people checking up on you. Nathalie was especially good because she is always there when you need someone. The ice cream was also delicious & creamy.
This was our first time at this location. The food was delicious & the service was OK. The guy at the door sat us at the table & we waited. When no one came to our table, I got up to find someone. I asked how it worked & the cashier was amazing - she explained everything to us.
I guess the person who seated us thought we knew how it worked.
Overall, I'd give the food 10/10.
Great food & a good variety of choices! The place is new, clean & it's an overall fun experience. I was disappointed by the service, however. The guy serving us our soup was really kind, but the rest of the staff was super disengaged, the cashier didn't help us when it came to understanding the soup options. We felt this slightly diminished the quality of the atmosphere. Lots of staring too as we ate? It just felt cold compared to the hearty meal we were having. Edit: over half of their drink menu was not available, but you get free ice cream which was a pleasant surprise. They also mixed up our soup bases, but mistakes happen.

The restaurant is quite clean & nice design. The soup tastes good but not what i expect for malatang to be. This place is for halal customers. Didnt feel like its so authentic malatang, if you are a fan, you might be disappointed. Also they dont do the dried stir-fried mala here.
It was a great experience, the staff was very nice & the dining room was very comfortable. These kind of places are expensive, so do not expect to pay under 20 dollars if you pack ur bowl like crazy. I took a small bowl & pack it up with just enough for my meal & it ended up being 17$, which is very reasonable as I've been to other places that have the same concept that charge more. In the end the food & the broth was great & I loved the sauce bar to spice up my broth.
Would not recommend (unless you're looking for disappointment). The service is disorganized. Don't bother asking them for anything, go & get it yourself.
