Siamo Noi, which means “Simply Us,” is a project of the heart. It’s dancing in your kitchen on a quiet Sunday night, with nothing to worry about but your glass of wine and the wooden spoon caressing your pan, bringing to life the phrase “made with love.”
Siamo Noi is our heart in every plate. With many years in the industry, Chef Marco Bertoldini pays homage to classic Italian cuisine while infusing it with a contemporary twist, creating an experience that is both nostalgic and dreamy.
Specializing in handmade pasta, we have designed our menu with the finest ingredients from Italy and Europe, balanced with local products, to offer a decidedly Montreal experience.
Our passion is reflected in every detail of this project, from the imported Italian tiles and wines to our exceptional service. We honor the simplicity and beauty of Italian culture.
Reviewers describe Siamo Noi as an upscale Italian dining experience with beautiful decor and a lively, sometimes loud atmosphere. The menu is praised for authentic, fresh flavors, especially handmade pastas, seafood such as branzino and octopus, and standout starters like burrata and focaccia, with tiramisu prepared tableside earning frequent cheers. Service is widely regarded as attentive, professional, and warm, often complemented by knowledgeable staff, though a few visits note slower pacing or occasional miscommunications when the restaurant is busy. Prices are described as high, with portions sometimes smaller than expected, leading some guests to feel the value does not always match the price, while others deem the experience worth the premium for the quality and atmosphere. The lounge area and speakeasy entrance add to the sense of occasion, and the overall impression is of a culinary journey to Italy, ideal for special occasions or a vibrant night out, with many guests planning to return to explore more dishes and desserts.
We had a 7 pm reservation. The first three courses came out quickly, & the food itself was excellent. Then we waited nearly an hour between our third course & the steaks & when the steaks finally arrived, they were cold. When I brought this to the manager's attention, instead of apologizing or offering a round of drinks, he argued with me, claiming it was'only' 40 minutes, not an hour. With a $2,000 bill, I expected far better service. Dessert finally arrived just before 10 pm. Great food can't make up for cold steaks, poor service, & a manager who doesn't value guests. Stay away from this place.
This place has potential, but the overall experience just didn't deliver. A few things were decent, but the atmosphere, service, & food fell far short of what you'd expect from a restaurant at this price point.
Siamo Noi gives off the impression of being a higher-end restaurant, but the only thing that reflects that is the price tag - not the food, the service, or the overall experience.
The atmosphere was uncomfortable: cold, overly bright, & extremely loud, which made conversation difficult. The crowd felt more like a curated scene than a dining space - a mix of older patrons trying to appear younger & younger ones more interested in being seen than eating.
Service was a major letdown - unprofessional, disorganized, slow, & clearly disinterested. It took 30 minutes just to get the focaccia - which, ironically, was the only standout of the meal.
As for the food, while ingredients seemed fresh, nearly every dish - from appetizers to mains - tasted more or less the same. It lacked depth & character. The crème brûlée was served warm, which was disappointing for a dessert that's traditionally cold with a crisp caramelized top. The cocktails were fine but small for the price.
Oddly, the whole experience reminded me of the casual'cafeterias' you find in Greece - bright, loud, & chaotic - but without the charm or genuine hospitality those places typically offer.
Overall, Siamo Noi felt more like a trendy backdrop than a restaurant. Not somewhere I'd return to or recommend.

Siamo Noi- A Fiery New Gem in the City
From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I knew I was in for a special experience. The warm, inviting ambiance, with its soft lighting & attention to fine detail, immediately set the stage for an unforgettable meal.
The menu, a celebration of seasonal ingredients & expertly executed italian cuisine, is a testament to the chef's passion & creativity. We started with a ouple of appetizers. They were all stellar (Octopus, anchovies & scallops.) vibrant explosions of flavors that were perfectly accompanied with a glass of white wine.
For our main courses,
The Branzino was cooked to absolute perfection, juicy with a beautiful crispy skin. We also had a handmade pasta with mushrooms that was simply divine.
What truly sets Siamo Noi apart is the attention to detail. From the impeccable service to the thoughtfully curated wine list, every aspect of the dining experience has been carefully considered. The staff was knowledgeable & attentive, offering helpful recommendations & ensuring that our every need was met.
The atmosphere was lively yet intimate, making it perfect for a romantic dinner or a special occasion with friends. & to finish, the zeppole with chocolate cherries was rich & decadent, the perfect ending to a wonderful meal.
This is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary journey. It's a place where passion, creativity, & exceptional ingredients come together to create a truly memorable dining experience. I highly recommend Siamo Noi!
The food quality was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive & professional. We went for lunch so it wasn't super busy. I found the Hostess was not that friendly when we arrived, sort of straight to the point & not very warm. Overall,a positive experience although spending $117 for Lunch is a bit expensive for my budget!
Tried this restaurant last night with my best friend, & honestly, I'm glad I gave it a shot. But I won't be going back. The first thing we noticed was how incredibly loud the place was. While I get that it's not entirely the restaurant's fault, the noise level made it really uncomfortable to have a proper conversation or even enjoy the ambiance.
The food? Tasty. Every dish we tried had good flavor, so no complaints there. But the portions were shockingly small. The pizza was literally half a pizza & still charged at full price. The pasta came in a plate so empty it looked more like a tasting sample than a meal. Not minimalistic in a chic or upscale way… just cheap-looking.
We also ordered the Burrata, & when it arrived, we were asked if we wanted to add Focaccia - & now I understand why. They serve a tiny piece of Burrata (cut in half) with some olive oil & balsamic. No bread, no veggies, nothing to go with it.
In short, the food had potential, but between the volume, the tiny portions, & the confusing experience, it just didn't do it for me. Glad I tried it, but that's a one-time visit for me.
Siamo Noi was a fantastic discovery! The service was also impeccable, as was the decor. The must-tries are definitely the drinks (especially the Pornstar martini), the focaccia, the Caesar salad, the batuta di manzo (beef tartare) & the indivia salad (if you enjoy a touch of bitterness). The pizzas-though on the smaller side-were fresh & packed with flavour (highly recommend the pistachio e mortadella). The tagliatelle paglia e fieno was also delicious pasta dish.
Don't skip dessert-the tiramisu was to die for (they assemble it in front of you), & the key lime pie strikes the perfect balance of sweet & tangy. Their desserts easily rank among the best in town.
**Side note: The vitello alla milanese wasn't the best-it lacked in seasoning & was a bit dry. The agnello scottadito was decent, but had quite a bit of fat, which took away from the red meat experience.

Our evening at Siamo Noi was excellent. The food was fresh, delicious & prepared with care. Our server Ayman was outstanding & made the evening special.
Stepping into Siamo Noi is akin to being whisked away to the sun-drenched coasts of the Mediterranean, all without leaving Montreal. Our recent visit, centered around Chef Marco's inspired chef's menu, wasn't just a meal; it was a transcendent culinary journey that has already etched itself into our collective memory as an experience we'll be recounting for years to come.
From the very first exquisitely presented course, it was clear that Chef Marco possesses a rare talent for not just preparing food, but for translating inspiration directly onto the plate. Each dish was a vibrant testament to his profound understanding & passion for Mediterranean flavors, a delicate dance of fresh ingredients, aromatic herbs, & bold spices that sang with authenticity. The progression of the menu was a masterclass in pacing & balance, revealing new delights & surprising complexities with every bite.
What truly set Siamo Noi apart, beyond the impeccable execution of each dish, was the palpable passion that permeated every aspect of the experience. Chef Marco's vision didn't just transpire; it soared, elevating familiar Mediterranean staples to new heights of gastronomic artistry. The collective hum of satisfaction from our table of six grown men, all seasoned diners, was a clear indicator of the magic unfolding before us.
Indeed, the impact was so profound that as we left Siamo Noi, still buzzing from the sheer brilliance of the meal, the immediate, unanimous decision was not to discuss our favorite dishes, but to secure reservations for our wives. This wasn't merely a suggestion; it was an imperative, a shared understanding that this was a culinary experience too extraordinary not to share with those we cherish most.
Siamo Noi has redefined what a Mediterranean restaurant can be. It's more than just a meal; it's an immersion, a celebration, & frankly, a culinary benchmark. If you're seeking an unforgettable dining experience that will leave an indelible mark on your palate & your memories, look no further. You'll be talking about Siamo Noi for years to come.
Actually the food is good but size is a bit small. The martini we have is good as well. However I think it's a bit overpriced due to the small size. The service is just so so. At least I think it should be better.
The pasta was excellent, & perfectly al dente. The interior is well designed & photogenic. As a note, they don't serve'free' bread & portions are on the smaller side.

The restaurant had a nice ambiance & atmosphere it can get a little noisy but I don't mind that. The service was good however I see other reviews where people got offered hangers for their purse & their jackets hung up & that was not offered to us. We made reservations & got seated right away. The beef tartare was amazing. We got the fettuccine for two people it was good however it would have been better with truffle but they were out .The lamb was good but I have had better. Had the key lime pie for dessert & it was delicious I would highly recommend that. Overall was a good experience & would come back to try more things.
Really great restaurant! We got the mortadella pizzette which was the perfect appetizer to split between 4 people. I got the cavatelli pasta & it was delicious. Great service our waiter gave us recommendations on dishes & we loved everything he recommended! Will definitely go back here!

Every detail is thought of, from the place settings, decor, the choice of knives to the shape of ice in your drink, Siamo Noi does not disappoint. Great service from the whole staff! The food, impeccable!! Chef Marco went above & beyond, each plate served was better a plate of art! Would definitely recommend for a date night or night out with friends!
Everything we ordered was excellent - fresh, well-prepared, & full of flavor. The service was also great: friendly, attentive, & professional throughout the evening. The only downside was the noise level. The tables around us were extremely loud, & the server preparing tiramisu at the next table was shouting more than speaking, which made it hard to have a conversation. It's a great spot overall, but something to keep in mind if you're looking for a quieter dining experience.
Came here for dinner on a Sunday evening. First of all, it's quite hard to find the restaurant if you are coming from inside the mall. The map isn't very clear. You need to park in the yellow section of the underground parking & follow signs or park at the outside parking.
We had reservations so we didn't have any wait time. The hostess was extremely nice. She offered to check our coats & brought us a little stool to put our purses on.
The restaurant is quite spacious & nice. However, it was very noisy so it was difficult to have conversations.
Our waiter was quite funny & friendly. We had 2 appetizers: the raw tuna & the octopus. As for the mains: we had 2 pasta plates: the Funghi & funghetti & the Cavatelli all'onda. The pasta was cooked al dente. My opinion is that the food was good but not wow. I was expecting more from this restaurant.
