Une véritable institution du poulet à Montréal. Je vais à cette rôtisserie pour leur sandwiches au poulet (cuisse, évidement), leurs saucisses & les patates depuis plus de 20 ans. Il faut absolument prendre du bouillon dans son sandwich ou sur son poulet. Le poulet rôti est probablement le meilleur en ville. Pas beaucoup de place sur place, mais parfait pour emporter.
This lowkey rotisserie spot is not very polished but is standing on a 40+ year legacy that keeps customers coming. Honestly it kind of reminded me of the Portugese rotisserie spots I used to eat at in North York, Ontario with it's down-homey atmosphere. Menu is focused on sandwiches & plates featuring their expertly prepared meats. I went for the chicken breast sandwich, which was packed with a nice portion of meat. I was impressed by how nicely the sandwich held together despite it's size, it was expertly prepared. The price-to-portion ratio at this place is righteous, enough to wave off the lack of comfortable seating. Service was good too.
Serrano Bar-B-Q has been a Mile End institution for 40 years, & for good reason. They are best-known for their roasted chicken sandwiches, but the sausage sandwich & the roasted pork ribs/belly are my personal favorites.
The food isn't fancy or trendy, but it's delicious, reasonably priced, & the staff are very welcoming. If that sounds good to you, then I highly suggest stopping by!
An absolute Neighbourhood classic. Great prices & premium quality. The chicken thigh sandwiches a go to for many people but personally, I think the sausage sandwich is the mega hit. I hope this place is around forever.
This place is really great! I've had both the chicken breast & thigh sandwiches, & neither were dry. Definitely get it all dressed, it helps to cut through the heaviness of all the meat & bread. I recommend asking for the (demi-glace?) sauce they have for the chicken. Their prices are amazing, especially for the area. The sausage sandwich is also super great. Obviously not too many options for vegetarians, but they do offer a sandwich made with their roast potatoes- however, I think the potatoes might be cooked in chicken fat.

Honestly - was expecting so much more. Chicken was too salty & dry, neither vegetables or the sauce made up for it. Sausage sandwich is below average. Not the worst deal at 17$ for two sandwiches, but likely won't be returning.

Utterly delicious chicken sandwich - the meat melts in the mouth & the spicy sauce is perfect The potatoes are also amazing - got a portion to take away for later as the sandwiches are huge!

One of the best chicken sandwiches in Montreal. For less than 10 $, the sandwich was really tasty. I recommend it. Un des meilleurs sandwich au poulet portugais à Montréal. Le sandwich était vraiment délicieux pour un prix très abordable. Pour moins de 10$, vous avez un bon repas rapide si vous n'avez pas beaucoup de temps. Je recommande ce restaurant sans hésitation.
