Chez Sel noir, c'est la facture qui est salée, pas votre plat! On a pris une assiette de viande, avec des frites & sauce & la viande ne goûtait rien. Vraiment aucune saveur. J'ai du demander du sel pour essayer d'y retirer un peu de goût. Le service était bon, l'endroit était correct, sauf qu'à chaque fois que quelqu'un rentrait on sentait le froid entrer aussi (& on était assis au milieu du restaurant, pas à côté des portes). Bref, on a payé 250$ pour deux (juste plat principal sans entrées avec un verre) pour se dire qu'on aurait mieux mangé à la maison.

Thank you big E. & the great staff & super Mario cook at sel noir steak house. Thanks to you, your staff, your service, the quality & flavor you bring to your food & to your drinks was amazing & of course your ability to make almost everyone feel like family & make things uniquely fun.
We had the bone marrow tartare 5x⭐?, the oysters 5x⭐?,the wagyu burger 5x⭐? the lobster & shrimp risotto with the chef secret garlic butter 5x⭐? & we canot forget the mind blowing kumquat carajillo ⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?⭐?.
Thank you all for making our first anniversary one to remember.

Vraiment belle expérience! Nous avons pris des entrées très bon! Le tomahawk WOW la pièce de viandé était DÉLICIEUSE! Le service était A1 les drinks aussi rien a dire.

Nice decor & lighting. Server tried his best but some things fell short, he made up for it though which I appreciate. Food was alright, filet mignon was a bit too salty, salad was large but pretty basic except for the fried onions adding some crunch, mushrooms were a good side with a decent portion. Beef tartare was pretty basic, just tasted like mustard. The kumquat caranillo was a smooth caffeinated cocktail.

Service exécrable, lent & peu convivial
L'entièreté de l'équipe était au bar & «chillais » pendant que le serveur & la cuisine avaient clairement besoin d'aide malgré le petit nombre de table.
Pour un beau total d'une heure 20 minutes d'attente pour la nourriture, un poulet qualité st-hubert & un steak sans goût, JE NE RECOMMANDE PAS!

Un ami me l'a recommandé & honnêtement… incroyable du début à la fin.
L'ambiance est classy, le service est attentif & surtout la nourriture est exceptionnelle. Chaque plat est bien présenté, plein de saveurs, & on sent que tout est fait avec soin & précision.
Que ce soit pour un dîner entre amis ou une sortie plus chic, Sel Noir est clairement une valeur sûre.
Je comprends maintenant pourquoi on me l'a autant recommandé - je vais définitivement y retourner.
Je recommande à 100 % 🔥🍽?

Être le seul groupe de filles durant leur soirée'girls night' & quand même de faire attitrer le serveur le plus bête du resto, qui part fumer dehors pendant le service, qui ne s'excuse pas des longues attentes & qui chill au bar avec ses amis quand on attend nos factures .. c'était très boff.

I wanted to try this place for a very long time since it always shows up on my IG news feed. The cocktails were good. The entres were good 2. La pieuvre était bonne. However, it all fell down, when me & my brother-in-law ordered the tomahack, lobster & shrimps for 2. Weirdly for a steakhouse, everything that came from the sea was good but the tomahack was a hell of dissapointment!!. We asked for medium well, it was cooked blue. We had to ask to grill it again because it was way too bloody. Then after the first bites, we were double dissapointed. The meat had NO FLAVORS WHATSOEVER. It's like they took the meat from the animal & just put in the grill with no salt, no pepper, no seasonings..It was NOT TENDER...🤨😒 bruuhh My expectations were too high I guess...Nonetheless, our servers were very nice & even gave my sister a slice of cake for her bday...
Unfortunately, I live far from d-town, so this visit will probably be my last.

Très mauvaise expérience. On nous a servi un plat froid, avec une odeur très forte, au point où on se demandait s'il était encore bon. Franchement, c'était impossible à manger.
Le service n'a rien arrangé, personnel désagréable, peu à l'écoute, aucune excuse ni solution proposée. On s'est sentis complètement ignorés.
& pour couronner le tout, les prix sont beaucoup trop élevés pour la qualité servie. Une expérience vraiment décevante. Je ne reviendrai pas & je ne recommande pas ce restaurant.
