Great restaurant! The vibes & the food were amazing! Being from out of province this is definitely one of the best food spots in Montreal! We were taken care of by our server Tony, who was amazing! We will definitely be back!
Food: we ordered the Filet Mignon & Pan Roasted King Salmon. The Filet Mignon had no flavor, was brutally charred & not cooked properly. The Pan Roasted King Salmon had a strange texture & a bright orange sauce that didn't compliment the dish very well. For my drink, I ordered a Tanqueray & tonic; it was watered down & had barely any substance to it. The side of fries were decent.
Service: we had a female waitress who wasn't very attentive nor friendly. I noticed that she was very attentive & outgoing to the three other parties in the establishment, except for us; we were virtually ignored. We had to ask for water, straws, a steak knife; probably because we were tourists - so that tells you what you need to know.
Atmosphere: was very nice, I did like the interior, but the vibe of the waitstaff was… not good. The restaurant was empty & the waitstaff were just chillin around the bar, giving strange looks. The gentleman who greeted us & took our coats upon entering was very nice & welcoming, but it was unpleasant & downhill from that point forward.
I had an amazing experience at Sel noir, the food was flavourful with a nice presentation . The service was great & the vibe really nice. I would highly recommend! 🙌

Had a great experience at Sel Noir! Went here for dinner with a group of 12 guys to celebrate a bachelor party. The space is beautiful & gives perfect steakhouse vibes. The staff gave excellent recommendations to feed us all within our budget. We ended up getting a few Rib Eye surf & turf meals for the table as well as an assortment of appetizers. The steaks were huge & all the meat was all beautifully cooked. The bone marrow beef tartare & grilled octopus appetizers were also incredible.
The wine selection was extensive & we all left there feeling like we ate a meal fit for royalty. 10/10 would recommend as the food & service is awesome. Will absolutely be going back. Thank you to all the staff for the excellent meal & hospitality!
Food was delicious 🤤. Service was excellent! Tony was our outstanding waiter, he served us like a champ! This restaurant is such a great vibe & wonderful energy. Music was awesome 👏 & will definitely be back for more…

Went there with a group of friends for my birthday. We had a blast, food was amazing, service was on point, & the vibe was good. The waiter made a mistake on my drink order & quickly fixed it & offered shots to all of us :) we appreciated it & showed us the level of service this place has. Ribeye steak is a must, it was absolutely delicious!

You can't go wrong with this amazing steakhouse, the vibes are immaculate, the drinks are so tasty (sel noir espresso martini with salted caramel is a MUST) & the food I can rave for days. The steaks are so tender & they have so many different sauces & butters you can pair it with, we loved having all those options. I can't recommend this place enough
Found this place on instagram, took my girlfriend on a date here the other week & absolutely loved it. We tried the steak with the mashed potatoes (amazing!) & the lobster (usually not a big fan, but this place may have won me over). Overall, food was delicious & worth the wait. The vibe was intimate & would highly recommend for a date night out!! Great new place.
