Omg so good. We'll be back. Met a couple that comes here from LA every summer for their sandwiches. Thenwaitersnare great & the atmosphere is classic. What a deli sandwich. Save room for poutine!

I'll admit the food was amazing. The smoked meat sandwiches are incredible. My children loved the poutine as well. We bought a big jar of the delicious pickles to take home as well.

Most of the employees were great. Especially the nice guys making our sandwiches. However I was quite disappointed with another employee there. As my husband & I were getting our orders at the counter we asked our kids to get a free table at the back of the deli so we could relieve the congestion in the lineup. As they were waiting one of the employees started raising their voice to my oldest questioning why they were there. She was in tears when we brought them their food. I understand the place is busy & high stress but it's no excuse to be unkind to people let alone children just waiting for their food.

Food is amazing, the smoked meat cannot be beat. I got the schwartz poutine & it satisfied all my cravings for smoked meat, & poutine at once.

Hands down one of the best sandwiches that I have ever had. The Poutine was delicious. Line wrapped around the corner but worth the 50 minute. The food comes out super fast.

The serving portion was perfect!! The smoked brisket was tender & juicy. The brisket covered poutine was outstanding!! If you sit at the bar you may be seated quicker than waiting for a table during the busier times.

I was worried this place wouldn't live up to the hype, but I was wrong. Ordered both the sandwich & poutine & both were amazing. I'll be dreaming about this place for a long time. It was busy but the lineup moved fast & we were happy to be seated at the counter where they were busy serving to hungry diners. Highly recommended.

If you want Montreal smoked meat, this is the place to get it. In addition to the classic sandwich, you can also forgo the silly bread & just opt for a plate of smoked meat. Yes, smoked meat poutine is also a thing here. This place does get pretty busy, so if there's a long line, consider grabbing something to go from their take-out location (literally right next door to the main restaurant).

Visited this restaurant for the 1st time & the food was very delicious. We ordered a smoked meat poutine & a smoked meat sandwich. It was very filling, but worth the price. Will definitely recommend visiting this place if you're visiting Montreal. It is a place you won't want to miss. Shoutout to all the staff who work here, they did an amazing job 👏 👏👏👏👌👌👌🙌🙌🙌
