Review Summary

Satu Lagi is widely recognized as a standout destination in Montreal for those seeking Indonesian and Malaysian flavors, particularly appreciated for its fully gluten-free menu that does not compromise on taste or quality. Many patrons praise the restaurant for its vibrant atmosphere, beautifully presented dishes, and exceptional staff who are often described as attentive and professional. While popular favorites like the chicken satay, beef rendang, and pandan crème brûlée frequently receive high acclaim, experiences can occasionally vary regarding portion sizes, pricing, and the intensity of spices. Although some diners have noted inconsistencies in service during busy periods or felt certain dishes lacked the bold, traditional profile they expected, the majority of visitors highlight the restaurant as a memorable gastronomic experience that is well worth visiting for both brunch and dinner.

Went to eat there after spending the whole day at Pop up market. This place was amazing! The flavours of each dish were incredible. My partner isn't a big foodie but he really liked the meals we got. Glad I finally got to try this place! The staff was super nice & friendly too :)

Recommended to make an RSVP if you're going for dinner. Tapas style dinner - taste, presentation, & portions were excellent. Their Pandan creme brulee is a must-try (even if you're feeling full). Oh & a killer playlist as well ;) So glad to find this gem while we're in town. Terimakasih! Shoutout to Matteo & Ananda 🫰🏻

Fantastic food. Whilst it's not super authentic to Indonesian cuisine, it's the closest I've tried in Montreal. The rendang is fantastic & the satays are a classic. I recommend asking the staff to see what kind of drinks you'd prefer with the plates you end up sharing with your party.

Delicious authentic Indonesian food on Mont Royal. I love the lunch menu. Just wished they would open for lunch all week long.
