Delivery: The tonkatsu ramen was delicious but delivered in a vertical container instead of the typical bowl shaped container from every other ramen place which was kind of annoying.
The chicken was very mediocre, not crispy at all, kinda plain, had a small bone in it, thankfully refunded by Uber Eats.
The unagi aburi oshi was also kinda tasteless. I usually love any unagi sushi but this was not worth it.
Expérience fantastique du début à la fin. Les sushis étaient d'une fraîcheur remarquable, les saveurs parfaitement équilibrées & chaque plat superbement présenté. Le service était attentif sans être envahissant, & l'ambiance à la fois authentique & chaleureuse. Une adresse où je reviendrai sans hésiter.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. The sushis were incredibly fresh, the flavors were well-balanced, & every dish was beautifully presented. Service was attentive without being intrusive, & the atmosphere felt authentic & welcoming. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.
J'y suis allée avec une amie un jeudi vers 18h, sans réservation. Nous avons partagé des gyozas aux crevettes & un takoyaki : les gyozas étaient bien croustillants & le takoyaki très fondant. Tout était délicieux !
?Mais le clou du spectacle a été le sushi aburi au saumon : il était si bon qu'il fondait dans la bouche. Il avait une touche de piquant parfaite pour moi (puisque j'ai une faible tolérance). C'était tellement bon qu'on a dû en commander une deuxième portion !
?De plus, la serveuse était très attentive & gentille. Je reviendrais sans hésiter. C'est un peu cher pour mon budget, mais l'expérience était excellente. Merci !
Delicious izakaya on St-Denis not far from the Mount Royal metro station. Had a yummy spicy ramen & aburi salmon sushi! My friend tried a variety of other dishes like katsu pork, raw scallop, cod... The waitress was very nice & recommended great dishes!
What a gem! We were able to get a reservation easily, but I don't think that's going to be the case for long, because this place is fantastic.
We had a variety of things, all were delicious!
I had the salmon Aburi sushi, very unique. A rectangular shaped Rice that has ribbons of salmon throughout & a slightly chared exterior. Each piece is top with a slice of jalapeno & a swirl of sato sauce. The flavours were mouth watering good! I then tried the Inari spicy tuna sushi, again very original. A marinated tofu pocket filled with rice & topped with creamy spicy tuna, I ordered another almost immediately after taking my first bite.
I enjoyed a saki martini with my meal & it complimented the flavours perfectly.
Every aspect of this restaurant is well thought out.

We stopped by here for lunch. Everything we had was tasty ! Service was prompt & professional. The decor was what you'd expect from an izakaya. If I were to make one recommendation the salmon oshi could have a bit more salmon on it. Would also be nice to have a few more sushi options on the menu.
Delicious food & each dish feels very different from the others! Particularly loved the salad with crispy tofu, & the pressed sushi
Only thing I would improve are the cocktails/mocktails, they taste very diluted

La serveuse était calme & a pris le temps de nous expliquer les plats.
Les plats sont délicieux! Les cocktails & mocktail aussi.
Gros succès pour les sushis pressés à la flamme! Un goût incroyable!
Seul bémol : nous avons commandé une bière en milieu de repas qui n'est jamais arrivée avant la fin du repas, & leur machine de paiement qui est set à un pourboire minimum de 18% (me semblait que c'était interdit maintenant)...
Mais nous reviendrons certainement car c'était délicieux & petits comme grands nous avons trouvé notre bonheur!
Overall a pleasent experience with staff, food was tasty.
If you go on your birthday you get a bowl of really good ice cream!
Don't go if you're looking for sushi though...!

We stopped by Sato Izakaya after a day of snowboarding & it was everything we were looking for. Warm sake & ramen, fresh sushi, shareable dishes, & top notch service! Each dish was plenty for our group of 4 to share, more than enough for us to try just about everything on the menu!
Walked in without a reservation. The ramen was tasty but could use more complex toppings considering the 20$ price tag. It didn't come with nori & the chashu was barely warm. Our appetizers were pretty good though the takoyaki squid was tough or overcooked. It looked more like a nice sushi place than an izakaya. I think their others plates might be more in line wih their specialty.
Stumbled upon this izakaya after being told another nearby ramen place had a 3 hour wait. Waited nearly 30 minutes for a table, 15 of which was staring at an empty table that inevitably was ours. Though the restaurant was relatively busy, it didn't make any sense to us it sat empty for so long while we stood at the front waiting. Once seated, we were quickly served. Appies came & were definitely the stars of the meal. Very good aburi sushi & veggie gyozas. We all ordered ramen that unfortunately looked better than they tasted. The miso & vegan broths were good but nothing special. The noodles were plentiful but overcooked & softer in texture. Overall a good restaurant & meal but disappointed with having to wait for our table & the ramen. Looking at the other tables with their non-ramen dishes definitely made us envious as they looked much better.
Superbe ambiance, serveuses sympathiques & nourriture délicieuse ! Je me suis régalé avec les sushis flambés & les choux de bruxelles. Je recommande grandement ! :)
Très belle découverte. Les thés sont bons, tout comme les plats. Nous avons pris le katsu traditionnel (portion énorme), ramen miso (bon bouillon & c'est sympa de fournir le sésame à côté avec un petit pillon pour agrémenter soi même le plat), gyoza (la sauce à la truffe est dingue) & sushi au saumon. La serveuse était prévenante
