Selon le serveur qui s'occupe de vous, le service est soit décontracté & sympathique ou un peu garoché, voire négligeant. Les options de pourboire commencent à 18%. Sometimes the best food experiences are completely unplanned. We were just walking around & stumbled upon Satay Brothers on Notre-Dame, & I'm so glad we decided to stop in.
We started with the chicken satay, which was perfectly grilled, juicy, & served with an incredibly flavorful peanut sauce. Then came the rice noodles & the bo bun both fresh.
To finish, we had the mango & coconut milk dessert, & it was the perfect ending to the meal. Light, creamy, refreshing, & not overly sweet.
From the food to the atmosphere & the friendly service, everything exceeded our expectations. This was one of those spontaneous discoveries that turned into a memorable dining experience.
If you're in Montreal & love authentic, flavorful food, Satay Brothers is absolutely worth a visit. A well-deserved 5/5 in every category!
Food was excellent. I organized my birthday dinner here yesterday staff was friendly efficient & accommodating to the groups dietary needs would definitely go back 👌.
We got served by Sebastian veryyyy friendly & attentive
Veryy tasty food love it specially chicken bums
A staple in Montreal.
Food is amazing, always good vibes & music, & staff is the cherry on top.
A classic that I will always go back to.
Highly recommend.
Satay Brothers is one of my favourite restaurants in Montreal. The food here is always immaculate. The staff also has great chemistry & you see it in the service; they've always been proud of that. The rendang beef is easily my favourite item on the menu. The fried chicken is great, the pork belly bao buns are flawless as usual & the pork ribs are insanely addictive.
Satay Brothers is a must if you ever come to Montreal.
Always an amazing experience at Satay!! Food is phenomenal & the service is great. We had a group reservation & were seated & served promptly, the discover menu was perfectly sized for the amount of people.
Good to know before you go: We arrived around 7 p.m. on a Thursday, & although the place was absolutely packed, we were seated immediately as a party of two. If you're going with a group, definitely reserve ahead-online reservations seem to be available only for parties of six or more.
The vibe is fun & energetic, but it's very loud. Between the music & everyone talking, it's not the ideal place for a catch-up or a date where you want to have a conversation.
I had the lamb korma with jasmine rice. The portion was just right, & the food was good, but it wasn't particularly memorable. Next time, I'd skip the curry & try one of their signature Southeast Asian dishes instead.
C'était notre troisième fois dans ce restaurant & la nourriture était excellente comme d' habitude mais cette fois ci nous étions un groupe de 7 personnes & nous devions prendre le menu obligatoire de dégustation & les quantités étaient vraiment insuffisante.
Food to die for! Combined with the great ambiance & top-tier service..
no wonder I keep coming back.. never disappointed!
