We were super happy with our experience here. It was busy & the vibes were great. The food was phenomenal & we can't wait to go back. The service was very casual & that's one of the things we liked most.

Came here for a birthday dinner with a large group, so it was a set group menu. Honestly 10/10 experience, it was nice to just show up & have food arrive at the table throughout the night! The restaurant was PACKED which is always a good sign. The service was still 10/10 despite how busy it was, super impressive. The food was incredible & everyone left super full! Such a fun vibe
Absolutely loved my experience at Sattay Brothers! Having visited multiple times, I can confidently say they never disappoint. On a busy Friday night, the atmosphere was lively yet welcoming, & the food, service, & ambiance were all top-notch. We arrived a few minutes early, & the staff kindly directed us next door to Rye Bar to wait, where the bartender served us promptly. By the time our drinks were ready, our table was also available. Our server, Masyn, was incredibly attentive, friendly, & efficient-making our evening even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Sattay Brothers for anyone seeking delicious, affordable food with a cool & inviting vibe. I absolutely love this restaurant & can't wait to return!

Hands down our family's favourite place!! Delicious, soul-warming comfort food every time. The team is amazing & makes you truly feel at home. The vibes alone will make you want to come back. Whether it's a meal with the kids, a night out with friends, or a quick solo bite, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend!!❤??🔥
A really intimate well-lit gorgeous restaurant on Notre-Dame 🎉🎉 We particularly loved the way beer cans are hung next to the light & gives off a very hippy bohemian vibe 😇😇 We started off with Jasmin Tea & beer & then moved onto Chicken satay that was incredible ❤?❤? For the main meal I had the chicken Laksha soup while my partner had lamb with rice & each bite was a gourmet's delight 🎉🎉 Our full compliments to the chef for the delicacy & also the staff that gave very good recommendations 😇😇 Finally for dessert we had the buttermilk cake & it was a heavenly delight 🎉🎉 Highly recommend this 11/10 restaurant with fantastic staff & service & we can't wait to try other items on the menu next time 🙏🙏
Such a vibe! I loved the homey & friendly vibe when I walked in~ Everyone is packed pretty tightly in there though, so get ready to get close & personal. I thoroughly enjoyed the Laksa, pandan daiquiri, & the desserts [Kueh Bengka & the special (sorry forgot the name but was so good)]. Wish I could come back to try the other items!
Came to montreal on a trip from Toronto, this was the best meal I ate by far, & I had some good food. Everything was amazing but the shrimp skewers & pork belly buns were phenomenal. Great vibe too.

Ambiance & decor is very cool. First time enjoyed the food selection & drinks, although it was a bit loud. Tried it for a second time & have to say the food was mediocre & service wasn't great. Depends on what you're looking for if it's more of an ambiance vibe with drinks this is a good spot but food & service could be better in my opinion.
Always great vibes, great food & a great time at Satay Brothers! They slid us in before a reservation, but we never felt pressured & the service was amazing.
Had an amazing time! The courses were expertly selected by our waiter & were all delicious! The music & vibe were awesome! Will definitely be going back again on our next trip to Montreal!
It's always such a pleasure to dine here. I brought in my colleagues, most of whom were travelling from all over Canada, for a holiday team dinner & the crew was very accommodating despite there being multiple dietary restrictions/allergies. Everyone was blown away by the food & ended their meal by saying that they couldn't wait to come back with their loved ones when travelling to Montreal again. Satay Brothers is one of my favourite restaurants in Montreal, & they excel at handling big groups & the family style menu is perfect for big groups. The staff are great, the food is amazing, & its always a great vibe at the restaurant
I went to this restaurant with a friend, & we had such an amazing time! The highlight of our meal was definitely the papaya salad - absolutely delicious & full of flavor. The Amaretto Sour was also on point, perfectly balanced & refreshing. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking to hang out with friends or enjoy a cozy date night. Great vibes all around!
I had dinner at Satay Brothers on a Friday evening. The restaurant has a nice, vibrant vibe, it's definitely lively & noisy, which fits the weekend energy, but it also felt a bit too crowded.
I ordered the shrimp fried rice. The portion was on the smaller side, & although the price was reasonable, the dish itself was quite spicy. It only came with three shrimps. The rice was well-cooked & had a nice crunch to it, while the shrimp were tender. The flavors & spices were okay, but nothing impressive, I've definitely had better versions elsewhere.
Overall, my experience was okay. The place feels a bit overrated to me. The service, however, was good. Would I come back? Probably not.
