Overall very overpriced for what we are & seasoned for the non asians as we as a big Asian group don't find it authentic but what's not acceptable is the clams they served with a noodle dish were rotten & utterly unfresh & we all spit them out after a bite

A tribute to Monday service. It's monday night, it's the summer, you're bummed you have a whole week of grind in front of you, you just want to ease into the week with good food, good service & good vibes. THIS is where you go. We eat out a lot in Montreal & staffing is always a challenge in early summer. What could be a poster child for a trendy spot has all the stars for professional execution. Charming staff, welcoming in French (gros plus ici), smiles, attention, always accurately spiced plates. THIS is what makes a restaurant stand out year after year: day in day out execution from the moment you step in. Especially on a Monday. & on this simple Monday night shared plates at a bar corner, we simply had a lovely time.

Edit -- I went again & ordered the skewers & the caramelized coconut milk dessert (with mango, sticky rice & some seeds) -- portion size was small for skewers but they were pretty good especially the dessert.
We ordered 3 items in the Lunch menu -- all underwhelming & tiny portions. The egg fried rice was the worst I ever had :(
Food was good but they don't have many varieties. I gave one star for service because they took almost 35 min to get the food. & it was a bit suffocating inside. It's better to reserve a table.
The cocktails were tasty! My favourite was the pandan daiquiri - the pandan aftertaste was delicious.
The noodles came with a lot of seafood & the seasoning was spot on. The char kuay teow was a little sweeter than I thought it was going to be (thought it was going to be a bit more savoury), but still delicious nonetheless.
The decor is fun! It is a little loud in the restaurant so it is a bit hard to talk if you have a soft voice.
Will definitely want to come back to try more dishes!

Ordered some of classics like the satay & the mi goreng. They arrived pretty fast & also tasted great. The mi goreng was tasted classic. The other noodles we got also tasted pretty good.
We also got some drinks. tried the Pandan cocktail & it was so good. The after taste of Pandan was especially nice while drinking.
The atmosphere & decoration was also really cool to see. Overall strong vibes!
Une superbe soirée, rappelant la cuisine vietnamienne typique à mon amie. Une dégustation à l'aveugle ou au choix du chef, les plats plus délicieux les uns que les autres . L'agneau qui fondait dans la bouche & toutes les merveilleuses fines herbes telle que la coriandre. Sans conteste, il faut y aller & y aller encore ! I recently had the chance to try this place for the first time. Every thing was delicious & amazing! The service was awesome & I ate way too much. Can't wait to go back & try some new dishes! Sorry, no photos, the food did not stay on the plate long enough! The pork buns are definitely worth a try, as is the papaya salad.

Belle expérience! Nous avons partagé des entrées & plats plats principaux. Les prix sont très raisonnables, la nourriture est fraîche & savoureuse, le service amical & l'ambiance est dynamique! C'est un endroit qui bouge beaucoup. Il y a du bruit & les gens parlent, mais l'ambiance est festive, alors je recommande fortement pour des soirées entre amis!
If you are looking for night-marketesque fun, & amazing food all in one spot this is the place for you. Everything from service, decor to layout of this place is just enthralling & unique. We went as a large group & got the set menu which I highly highly recommend. Absolutely worth every dollar. The owner is friendly, casual & on top of everything. We had an amazing time, & I would return time & time again.
