The location is ideal, right in the bustling downtown area, making it a perfect stop whether you're out shopping or meeting up with friends. The atmosphere inside is cozy & modern, setting the stage for a great dining experience. What really stood out was the exceptional service. The waiters were super friendly & attentive, making sure everything was just right & offering helpful suggestions. The ramen was absolutely delicious, with a rich, flavorful broth & perfectly cooked noodles. If you're looking for a top-notch ramen spot in the city, Sansotei Ramen won't disappoint!
Broth is rich & noodle is good not too salty I would return to this place
I tried their ramen for the first time at the ramen ramen fes 2024 opening. They had a kiosk & I got the classic tonkatsu. The broth was flavourful, the noodles perfectly cooked, the grilled pork was amazingly tender. Would absolutely go back again
The food is perfect for what it is. All the ingredients are cooked exactly as they should be. The eggs are soft boiled, the roasted pork is moist & the pork bone broth is deeply delicious. The mushrooms are sweet & spicy & the chili threads are just hot enough. I don't think the Ramen can actually be improved upon.
The ramen was above average but the bone broth did not seem as rich as I am used to. The noodles were also a little undercooked for me. Otherwise an above average ramen location with outstanding wait staff.
Good taste & value for the price! I would've liked more taste in the broth. It seems to be missing missing the spicy mayonnaise that usually bring up the spice on the fried chicken. Oh well, it still is a good meal overall!
This is the best ramen place in Montreal by far. I had the Tonkotsu Black Ramen & the broth was so flavourful & not too salty, unlike other ramen places. The service was really quick so not much waiting. If you want to try an authentic tasty ramen, this is the place to go.
Arrived in Montreal on a cold day & decided ramen would be a good call. From all the good reviews I'm shocked that I didn't enjoy my experience. 1) the bowl is small, 2) there wasn't enough broth for the amount of noodles & 3) the noodles tasted like regular al dente spaghetti noodles which was super disappointing & 4) the broth was not piping hot. I've had better ramen. Service & people were nice though.
Very tasty ramen & the location is right in the heart of downtown Montreal. My family & I shared everything from the chicken wings, tonkatsu plus & black. The aromatics & broth were so rich. Even on a hot summer day this was absolutely delicious. I could taste the rich truffle oil in my tonkatsu plus. Portions are fair & can be shared. They offer different ramen add ons & drinks as well. The interior was very clean. They had wood accents all along the walls & very high ceilings. Food comes out quickly & you can fully customize your ramen. I saw plenty of people enjoy their ramen alone. Staff were really friendly & accommodating. If you want some authentic Japanese ramen this is the spot.
They have the best broth. So flavorful. The staffs are really helpful & friendly.
Some of the best ramen we've ever had...the broths were full of flavor & great noodles with fresh ingredients, excellent service....the only downside is that seating is a little tight.
Rich broth, generous slices of pork, a step up for Montreal's long suffering ramen scene. All menu items are well considered & carefully prepared. Staff are knowledgeable & friendly. Prices are on the higher side for Montreal, but in a high rent location that can be overlooked. Extra appetizers felt unnecessary considering the portion sizes. Next time I'll try the tomatoe ramen. Atmosphere was a little crowded, loud & cluttered for my tastes.
Great broth but the guy said the thick noodles were the rice ones but then we all ended up getting egg noodles. Good thing no one was allergic.
Casual place for a quick ramen. Recommend for rainy days. Recognizing that this is a chain, here's a few things I liked/ disliked: Liked: Service is quick, & the server to table ratio seems good. The bamboo shoots & eggs are quite good with better texture than most places Disliked: The chashu still has a hint of gamy pork taste, but the texture is great. The broth could be better & having basic toppings like scallions would be great Overall a good experience
Broth & noodles always consistent. One of the server Andy provide amazing service
first sip was spectacular & you wonder what makes it so much better than other places. I came with low expectations because this is a chain but was just amazed at the quality of the broth & the noodles
We had Simple & Tonkotsu+. Frankly, the key element the broth lacked the body I enjoy in a great ramen. Service & ambience great.
Ramen is great, broth is good, noodles are chewy. The eggs however were not flavourful enough.
