Complete nonsense.
The broth & all the ingredients are perfect. Good noodles, the chasu is meaty & the eggs are nice & jammy
Clean affordable ramen shop. Noodles are not handmade & the tonkatsu broth today was a little thin , lacked fat & depth & needed tare. I'd be willing to bet the milky color came from milk & not pork bones that had been boiled for hours. But it was good. The egg was cold , like fridge cold & the chashu was very thin. The gyoza was devine.
They're tonkatsu is probably as good as it's going to get with dry noodles & the broth. & if your OK with that it's just fine . Service was excellent & the place is modern & clean.

Superb! Can you imagine flavorful broth without being salty? I recommend the thick noodle. Pork had good grill flavor & was lean. I would come back for the ramen but probably pass on the fried chicken & gyoza next time.
This ramen was delicious, I like spicy noodles so I asked for the spicy paste & my ramen was perfect!
Sansotei Ramen in Montréal is a gem! Conveniently close to my work, & I always order the Tonkotsu Black-it's rich, flavorful, & never disappoints. The broth is perfectly balanced, noodles cooked just right, & the staff is friendly. Cozy atmosphere & consistently excellent ramen. Highly recommend!
The ramen was delicious & flavorful. The broth had a depth of flavor that was intriguing & kept us eating. The meat was very tender & the noodles absorbed the flavor of the broth, were cooked perfectly, & in good quantity. The servers were kind & fast with their service. On a final note, the black milk tea was amazing! We would eat here again:)
While the Black Miso Ramen at Sansotei didn't meet expectations-lacking the umami-rich, complex broth & signature flavors typical of the dish-the noodles were well-prepared, service was decent, & the atmosphere pleasant. Though this particular ramen fell short, the restaurant may still offer a solid ramen experience worth trying.
Excellent cuisine very tasty nice portion of porc & noodle, the brooth was not too salty & tasted sweet garlic. The service was bilingual & well done. Will go again.
Delicious & tasty Ramen, i recommend the dumpling starter, delicious, you'll want to get 2, 5 prices to share is not enough! We got SHOYU & TONKOTSU, they were both good in their own way, i recommend the fat noodles over the thin ones, just a personal preference. The service was great, very kind & very fast, good tasting free cold water when you arrive, everything was very quickly prepared & served. Will definitely be back. Don't be turned off by the word "black fungus" these are just mild flavored delicious mushrooms.
Sansotei Ramen on Sainte-Catherine is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic ramen! The location is ideal, right in the bustling downtown area, making it a perfect stop whether you're out shopping or meeting up with friends. The atmosphere inside is cozy & modern, setting the stage for a great dining experience. What really stood out was the exceptional service. The waiters were super friendly & attentive, making sure everything was just right & offering helpful suggestions. The ramen was absolutely delicious, with a rich, flavorful broth & perfectly cooked noodles. If you're looking for a top-notch ramen spot in the city, Sansotei Ramen won't disappoint!
Broth is rich & noodle is good not too salty I would return to this place
I tried their ramen for the first time at the ramen ramen fes 2024 opening. They had a kiosk & I got the classic tonkatsu. The broth was flavourful, the noodles perfectly cooked, the grilled pork was amazingly tender. Would absolutely go back again
The ramen was above average but the bone broth did not seem as rich as I am used to. The noodles were also a little undercooked for me. Otherwise an above average ramen location with outstanding wait staff.
Arrived in Montreal on a cold day & decided ramen would be a good call. From all the good reviews I'm shocked that I didn't enjoy my experience. 1) the bowl is small, 2) there wasn't enough broth for the amount of noodles & 3) the noodles tasted like regular al dente spaghetti noodles which was super disappointing & 4) the broth was not piping hot. I've had better ramen. Service & people were nice though.
The staff was so cute & genuine, I loved the ramen soup with pork & the green sea weed apetizer. You like Noodles & want to see how it tastes in Japan? Sansotei wa oiishidesuyo.
Tried their black garlic Tonkutsu ramen, it's so good so properly authentic.. the soup was tasty but still light, the thin noodle had really nice bite, & the egg was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended 😋😋😋
I'm being extra picky, but compared to Saint-Bruno the food was a tinny bit less cooked: the noodle were a tad more firm & the pork just less roasted (tonkotsu ramen). The service was top notch, very very fast. I went to eat outside (this july) & it was nice. Though I would love to pay before eating because it wasn't clear if I needed to go inside to pay or wait for the waiter to approach me to do it. At the end of the day I went inside to pay. Very nice! I ate well.
