Good portions, my go to when I'm downtown in winter. Soul soothing broth, highly recommended!
Don't miss out on their fried chicken!
I don't recommend this restaurant, & frankly, if it were in Japan, it would close very fast. Their ramen is not good. We ordered two different ramen soups including the tomato ramen, which I personally tried & both were very meh. I didn't enjoy eating there.
However, we tried dumplings & chicken appetizers & they were good.
Sansotei is fantastic! Their fried chicken is a must-try. The ramen portions are very good, offering a generous & tasty meal. It's a clean, cozy spot right downtown. Highly recommended for a satisfying lunch or dinner.
Superb! Can you imagine flavorful broth without being salty? I recommend the thick noodle. Pork had good grill flavor & was lean. I would come back for the ramen but probably pass on the fried chicken & gyoza next time.
Some of the most delicious tonkotsu broth I have had in years. Delicious fried chicken as well. Order was taken swiftly & food was delivered promptly. Great spot to grab a hearty lunch.
I walked in on a very very cold & stressful day. It was a very clean & welcoming place. Although almost all of their broths contain pork, they have a veggie broth & chicken broth. Be sure to ask for it if you don't eat pork. I tried the chicken ramen & it LITERALLY healed my soul. It was so simple, comforting, healthy, fresh, flavourful & at a perfect temperature. I wish they had a brunch in Toronto. 100% recommended. All the best to their business.
Loved the Spicy tantan & the fried chicken so much that I came back the following day. The staff is really welcoming but our waitress was the best. Absolutely recommend
I got their karaage chicken & fried corn as an appetizer, & it was delicious. Their ramen was also really good. Their broth is lighter than an average ramen. Nevertheless, it warmed my soul. For more reviews on different mtl restaurants, visit @lifewithkarbs on instagram
Really good ramen & zangi. Saki selection was great. Service was brisk but I wasn't wanting for anything. Black Tonkatsu Ramen wasn't the best I've ever had but it was very tasty. Toppings arrived cold. The chicken was excellent. I'd go again. But wouldn't go out of my way.
Good taste & value for the price! I would've liked more taste in the broth. It seems to be missing missing the spicy mayonnaise that usually bring up the spice on the fried chicken. Oh well, it still is a good meal overall!
Very tasty ramen & the location is right in the heart of downtown Montreal. My family & I shared everything from the chicken wings, tonkatsu plus & black. The aromatics & broth were so rich. Even on a hot summer day this was absolutely delicious. I could taste the rich truffle oil in my tonkatsu plus. Portions are fair & can be shared. They offer different ramen add ons & drinks as well. The interior was very clean. They had wood accents all along the walls & very high ceilings. Food comes out quickly & you can fully customize your ramen. I saw plenty of people enjoy their ramen alone. Staff were really friendly & accommodating. If you want some authentic Japanese ramen this is the spot.
So far my favourite ramen in Mtl! The broth was flavourful & they serve a good portion of meat. The only thing I would say is, they only have pork ramen options, unlike other ramen places who also offer a chicken replacement.
Some of the best ramen I've had in a long time. I had the TONKOTSU BLACK, which was good, but I loved
TONKOTSU + (plus). The chicken was good as well.
