Sans Soleil est un bar du Quartier Chinois situé au sous-sol du resto japonais Fleurs & Cadeaux. Nous offrons les classique du menu de Fleurs et Cadeaux, cocktails, vins et sakés, dans une ambiance musicale recherchée, sur vinyle seulement.
Dans l'ensemble, les avis convergent vers une expérience chaleureuse et festive dans un cadre intime où l'atmosphère vinyle et DJ crée une ambiance speakeasy propice à la danse après le dîner. La nourriture et les boissons sont régulièrement décrites comme délicieuses et soignées, avec des plats variés et des cocktails complexes, parfois inspirés du japonais et du saké. Le service est largement salué pour son accueil, son professionnalisme et sa connaissance du menu, même lorsque le lieu se remplit et que l'espace devient plus serré. Le lieu reste petit et peut devenir très fréquenté, avec des tables et des tabourets serrés et, parfois, des temps d'attente ou une organisation à améliorer, notamment entre les espaces haut et bas et la cohérence des menus. Malgré ces petits bémols, Sans Soleil est souvent cité comme l'un des meilleurs spots de Montréal pour manger, boire et danser, une adresse à revenir régulièrement pour l'ambiance, la musique et la qualité des plats.
L'ambiance pour le souper est parfaite pour une date night: lumière tamisée, atmosphère intime & tables rapprochées qui créent une belle proximité. Le staff est incroyable : super sympathique, connaît très bien le menu & est toujours prêt à répondre à nos questions ou même à aller chercher l'information au besoin.
La nourriture est excellente, j'en prendrais des portions plus grosses tellement c'est bon ! & les cocktails sont tout simplement délicieux.
Je recommande aussi de rester jusqu'à la partie danse, l'ambiance devient plus festive & ça complète parfaitement la soirée.
Had a fabulous time at Sans Soleil with my friend last night. We tried getting a reservation at Fleurs & Cadeaux but we are so glad things happened the way they did because Sans Soleil was a much better vibe. There was a dj playing vinyl records & it was almost a speakeasy vibe. The food is incredible!! We will be coming here again for a meal in the future. 10/10 recommend

One of the best meals I've ever had!! Andi, our server, was beyond delightful & was super helpful with recommendations for both food & drink. She has INCREDIBLE taste & we enjoyed everything she recommended.
Sans Soleil is by far one of the best dinner & dance spots in all of Montreal! I'll be coming back soon. Thank you Andi for everything!
Nous sommes venus en groupe, super belle soirée passée au Sans soleil. Le repas était délicieux, l'ambiance top. Il y a eu quelques petites erreurs dans le nombre de plats & nous n'avons pas eu le dessert qui était prévu. Peut-être quelques ajustements à faire côté organisation mais mise à part ça, je recommande!
The food was to die for. Highly highly recommend this place. I can't speak to the dancing just yet because we didn't realize it started at 10, but we will definitely be back to eat & check it out.
I had the beef (melt in your mouth) & the yozu sake & also tried the chicken naname (I think that's how it spelled) & the duck & all were delicious.

I had an amazing time at this restaurant! The food was truly delicious, the ambiance was perfect, & the DJ kept the energy flowing all night. The whole vibe turned into such a fun party. I genuinely enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend it if you're looking for great food & a great time!
What an incredibly unique spot to enjoy a very special experience! Loved it all!! Delicious & carefully crafted plates, gorgeous cocktails, superb service & groovy tunes. They share the same kitchen as the restaurant upstairs, but the small tables & cozy atmosphere downstairs cannot be beat. Highly recommend!

Best place we've been to in Montreal. Great bar & food then if you want, the venue turns into a club circa 11pm. 2nd visit & it's exactly what we were after for entertaining family post dinner. We went for 7.45 booking. Sat at the bar last time. Can't recommend enough.

Very cool speakeasy- attentive servers & food was extraordinary! Every single dish we ordered had such unique flavours & the quality of the sashimi was exceptional. Really enjoyed the vibe- the music in the background was very chill & the lighting was appropriately dim. Highly recommend!
We had the pleasure of dining here a few weekends ago & wanted to share our appreciation for the outstanding service provided by the team, especially in comparison to a prior visit where the service didn't quite meet expectations.
From the moment we arrived, Pablo stood out with his attentiveness & professionalism. Although we were initially seated on the main floor & expressed dissatisfaction with our table, Pablo went above & beyond to accommodate us-personally arranging for us to be seated downstairs, an area he was previously familiar with. His initiative & dedication made a lasting impression.
Throughout the evening, the coordination among the team-including Jemma, Megane, Grey, & Cam-was truly commendable. The seamless delivery of dishes & the way they collaborated to ensure a smooth & enjoyable dining experience did not go unnoticed.
Thanks to the excellent service & warm hospitality, Sans Soleil has become a spot we confidently recommend to others. Thank you for creating such a memorable experience.

Hier soir, entre amis, nous avons dégusté le menu découverte, & chaque plat était un voyage pour les papilles. L'ambiance décontractée & ultra-cool, accompagnée d'une excellente sélection musicale, a ajouté une dimension unique à notre soirée. Le staff est chaleureux, attentionné, & contribue à rendre l'expérience encore plus agréable. Je recommande fortement à tout amateur de bonne cuisine & de vibes relax & modernes. The food was nothing short of extraordinary from start to finish! We opted for the Chef's Choice menu, & every dish was a delightful surprise that just kept surpassing our expectations. Our server, Pablo, was an absolute gem-hilarious, friendly, & attentive. He answered all our questions & made us feel completely at home. We were celebrating a friend's birthday, & the thoughtful extra touches truly made the evening special. The music & DJ perfectly set the vibe for an unforgettable night. Highly recommend!

Overall experience was great. We were 6 people & had the 70$ menu. Plenty of different dishes all of which were super tasteful. Service was super nice & on point. Highly recommend!!!
I took a trip from Toronto to mtl for a weekend in sept of 2023 & I was recommended to come here by a local & they did not disappoint. Great atmosphere, amazing music, vinyl record DJs !!! If you're not a fan of the jumpy sweaty loud clubs, this is the perfect spot!! The music was certainly the centre of attention. Unfortunately I wasn't able to try the food but the cocktails were great & priced very fair !! my friends & I had a great time & will definitely be coming back. Thank you to all the staff for a great experience!!
