Sans Soleil est un bar du Quartier Chinois situé au sous-sol du resto japonais Fleurs & Cadeaux. Nous offrons les classique du menu de Fleurs et Cadeaux, cocktails, vins et sakés, dans une ambiance musicale recherchée, sur vinyle seulement.
Dans l'ensemble, les avis convergent vers une expérience chaleureuse et festive dans un cadre intime où l'atmosphère vinyle et DJ crée une ambiance speakeasy propice à la danse après le dîner. La nourriture et les boissons sont régulièrement décrites comme délicieuses et soignées, avec des plats variés et des cocktails complexes, parfois inspirés du japonais et du saké. Le service est largement salué pour son accueil, son professionnalisme et sa connaissance du menu, même lorsque le lieu se remplit et que l'espace devient plus serré. Le lieu reste petit et peut devenir très fréquenté, avec des tables et des tabourets serrés et, parfois, des temps d'attente ou une organisation à améliorer, notamment entre les espaces haut et bas et la cohérence des menus. Malgré ces petits bémols, Sans Soleil est souvent cité comme l'un des meilleurs spots de Montréal pour manger, boire et danser, une adresse à revenir régulièrement pour l'ambiance, la musique et la qualité des plats.
Il est incroyable, j'ai jamais vu des cocktail aussi bon. C'est un bar un date, je te ments pas. J'ai une eu mon boss un moment, je te ments pas. Il avait un potentiel avec une cliente assez mignonnes.
everything about this place…10/10! my boyfriend took me here for my birthday & everything was absolutely phenomenal!!!! From the food, the ambiance, the service (shoutout Tom, who was the literal BEST!) & everything else in between. I love it here.
my biggest food recommendations are the Sashimi, Duck & tartare + their cocktails of course.

L'ambiance pour le souper est parfaite pour une date night: lumière tamisée, atmosphère intime & tables rapprochées qui créent une belle proximité. Le staff est incroyable : super sympathique, connaît très bien le menu & est toujours prêt à répondre à nos questions ou même à aller chercher l'information au besoin.
La nourriture est excellente, j'en prendrais des portions plus grosses tellement c'est bon ! & les cocktails sont tout simplement délicieux.
Je recommande aussi de rester jusqu'à la partie danse, l'ambiance devient plus festive & ça complète parfaitement la soirée.
Decadent speak-easy with glamorous basement vibes, replete with DJ, vinyl, candle lit tables, & mysterious bourgeois style. Warm staff with can-do attitude & a twinkle in their eyes. House cocktails are whimsically elegant & happily bold. Couples & groups making music with their talk. Stumbled into the cool crowd.
Très belle découverte ! Le magret de canard est tout simplement incroyable! Endroit parfait pour prendre un cocktail recherché & bien dosé. La transition vers la soirée DJ est particulièrement impressionnant!
Have been here many times to dance - is one of my favourite places for that. Recently tried the dining experience there & adored the food & ambiance. & the service was out of this world! Sometimes good cocktails are hard to find in mtl, but they are so tasty & complex here.
Un super endroit où sortir danser. La musique est excellente, le système de son est parfait & les employés sont très sympathiques, ce qui est rare pour une boîte de nuit.
Tous les cocktails commandés étaient délicieux !

What an incredibly unique spot to enjoy a very special experience! Loved it all!! Delicious & carefully crafted plates, gorgeous cocktails, superb service & groovy tunes. They share the same kitchen as the restaurant upstairs, but the small tables & cozy atmosphere downstairs cannot be beat. Highly recommend!
A space for all the senses, sounds of the underground & supreme service. Sans Soleil has everything under the sun for true music lovers, artists, the heads, the curious, locals & visitors alike. Had a beautiful Saturday night sojourn here that began with an amazing meal. We had the Onsen Tamago (perfect egg in a truffle infused broth), Legume Ohitashi (vegetable of the day was eggplant), Albacore tuna tataki & the delicious fried chicken dish. The Yune cocktail was a yuzu-infused take on the negroni -divine! - & Sake Paloma was bright & refreshing. Service was excellent - super big shout out to Andie for their amazing hospitality, kindness & menu suggestions (the team here knows a lot!), & Alex at the bar for awesome libations. We tried the special soy ice cream dessert -umami, sweet, savoury goodness! Not enough photos, was too immersed in the experience. Stick around for dancing & top shelf tunes curated & spun by guest & resident selectors. As a DJ myself, I'd be a regular here if I lived in Montreal.
une belle expérience au Sans Soleil. ca faisait un moment que je voulais y aller. les cocktails étaient bons, le nourriture excellente ! J'ai été impressionnée par les sashimi qui font partis des meilleurs que j'ai mangé à Montréal ! La musique est sympa & le service agréable. Un bel endroit !
Was in town for a business trip with a colleague & decided to check out the speakeasy downstairs for a drink last Thursday.
I've been to the restaurant a year prior & had a great experience. Amazing service & music. The atmosphere was a refreshing change!
We were mainly at the bar & was served by a young Black woman (sorry forgot her name). She greeted us with a wonderful smile & amazing cocktails. She was diligent & made sure we were having a good time throughout.
If you're seeking a top-notch speakeasy experience with outstanding service, Sans Soleil is a must-visit. Can't wait to return to this gem soon!!

My husband & I were visiting Montreal for a few days & intended to go to Fleurs & Cadeaux for dinner, but we got sent to Sans Soleil when we arrived. Boy are we glad we ended up there! The vibe at Sans Soleil was so cozy & fun, perfect for a rainy Sunday evening, & we loved the DJ. The cocktails were creative & tasty, & the food was incredible. We ate every last bite. Andie, our server, was amazing too! We left feeling like we lucked out having this great dinner experience in such a fun spot we never would've found on our own.
The food is good, the music is great (vinyl mix) but the staff RUINS it. They are super cold & rude, make you feel very unwanted. The signature cocktails sound cool but are not actually good, stick to classics.
We absolutely loved this spot. The exterior & building is a real gem, if it's not the previous tenants signage; it definitely fooled me! We had cocktails in the basement & listened to a great turntablist play rare hip hop. We came back again later in the evening to see if there was a crowd but it was asking too much of a Monday in Montreal. Everyone working there is friendly & welcoming & the cocktails were lovely. I would love to come back for food & a weekend night in the basement! Hope to be back one day.
