Review Summary

Many reviews describe Salsathèque as a dance oriented venue with strong music and a lively atmosphere, where the main appeal is the vibe and the chance to dance to Latin and Spanish tunes, and where the crowd is varied in age, with seating around the dance floor and a cheap coat check; lines outside are generally short or non existent, bottle prices are appealing for groups, and some nights feature affordable drinks, but others report watered down cocktails and food that is not notable; the dance floor can feel small and the layout can vary, with comments about expensive bottle service near the dance area; several notes praise friendly staff and a welcoming mood, while a few mention issues with security or tipping expectations; overall, Salsathèque is viewed as a spot for music and atmosphere rather than fine dining, and many would return for the energy and dance floor experience.

PRO: - mixed age clients, a few came by themselves & danced like nobody was watching, which i loved.
- Mixed latino music kept the ( small) ring full.
-Big & small tables available, no reservation necessary, 13$ for entrance & coat.
- we were 2 women only, lots of latino bystanders, yet, everyone was respectful
- loved that the waiters took a moment to dance & enjoy;
CON: drinks are watered down ( 13$)my 2 cocktails tasted like sugary coloured water.
Overall, i recommend only for music & atmosphere

There was a 12.5 dollar charge at the entrance (card &/or cash) & another 3 dollars for a coat check (cash only). The decor was nice, felt like you were in a resort in the south. The prices of drinks were standard club prices. I would recommend this place if you are into salsa & some reggaeton.

The entrance was only paid in cash, so not so convenient. But the music was very nice. But lacked air conditioning.
