Review Summary

Salsathèque is widely recognized as a vibrant, intimate destination for those seeking an authentic dance experience in a welcoming atmosphere. Guests frequently praise the energetic music selection and the lively, mixed-age crowd that gathers specifically to enjoy Latin rhythms and dancing. While the venue is described as having a nostalgic, understated aesthetic, many patrons feel the fun vibe and social environment outweigh the physical condition of the club. Although feedback on cocktail quality, tipping expectations, and staff interactions varies, the overall consensus highlights a space where visitors can feel comfortable and entertained, especially when arriving early to secure a spot on the dance floor.

Décoration was good, music was okay. The drinks prices were good but they put 23% of tip without asking. Fishy practices.

We had a great time there! Can't speak to the drinks much since we only took a couple shots. Otherwise, the vibes were good! Up beat music, most of it Spanish, some popular non-Spanish songs were also played. All music you could dance to. As people in their mid/late twenties, we had a great time. The crowd was varied in terms of ages. Seating available around the dance floor. Coat check mandatory, but cheap. No lineup to wait outside. We'd definitely go again:). We got there at 11:15am, & it started to get more busy at 11:30am/midnight. As people said in other reviews, people actually go there to dance, so it was great!

PRO: - mixed age clients, a few came by themselves & danced like nobody was watching, which i loved.
- Mixed latino music kept the ( small) ring full.
-Big & small tables available, no reservation necessary, 13$ for entrance & coat.
- we were 2 women only, lots of latino bystanders, yet, everyone was respectful
- loved that the waiters took a moment to dance & enjoy;
CON: drinks are watered down ( 13$)my 2 cocktails tasted like sugary coloured water.
Overall, i recommend only for music & atmosphere

I've been to Salsathèque a few times with my girlfriend since we started clubbing. The place is pretty rundown & gives old disco vibes. There's a $12 cover that includes nothing, & the toilets are awful.

We keep going back because the music is great. The crowd changes depending on the night - sometimes it's young, sometimes older with people who really know how to dance, which we enjoy more. What's nice is that people actually go there to dance, so you can just enjoy yourself.

Bottle prices are good & worth it if you're with a group, since you also get a booth to sit at (something you don't get with single drinks).

Overall, it's not about the looks, but the music & vibe make it worth it.

I was hoping for more salsa & Latin dance music, but it was really just another club with a Latin touch to their DJ beats. Not what I was looking for.
If you're just looking to dance & aren't picky on music style, you should have a good time. Although the dance floor was a bit on the small side.

I was there on Valentine's Day. The only good thing is that I was with the woman who takes away my sleep. They charge cover, for storing the clothes. A bottle of vodka 138 CAD.

I also drank Brugal rum. Batman made an effort to attend well.

But the atmosphere is bad, there are some birds going for the tables to take out the women. As if it were a brothel. Do we consume more than 300 dollars for this to happen? The music does not agree with the name, it should be called'Regenoteque'.

That's all.

The entrance was only paid in cash, so not so convenient. But the music was very nice. But lacked air conditioning.
